Chiefs fan for 55 years here. PM15 deserves all the accolades he's getting for this win. Make no mistake. To me, though, having watched hundreds of Chiefs games ... This was the greatest TEAM win I have ever seen in the history of the Chiefs franchise. Yes, PM15 is the master conductor, but 45 OTHER guys had to step their game up, and they did.

We as chiefs fans through the 80's when they were terrible, through the 90's and early 2000's where they were just good enough to break our hearts, the post vermeil to the beginning of the Reid era was embarrassing. Mahomes is redemption for drafting Blackledge over Marino and Kelly in 1983. We are currently living in the golden age of KC Chiefs football and we've waited a long time for it.

Chiefs fans already know this, but for the other fanbases, the most unheralded person in the Chiefs organization has got to be GM Brett Veach. He is a master at working the salary cap, drafts very well, sees a problem and immediately addresses it....totally the rebuilt O-line after the Superbowl LIV debacle, when due to injury that O-line was pretty much held together with baling wire and bubblegum....and put together a supporting cast after Tyreek Hill was traded away. And the Chiefs got an absolute haul of draft picks from the Dolphins in that trade. Everyone was saying how Mahomes would be exposed without Tyreek, how the Chiefs wouldn't win the AFC West, blah, blah, blah.....Chiefs had the hardest schedule in the league (based on opponents' win % from 2021).....and the Chiefs merely go on to win 14 out of 17 games, and Mahomes passed for ~5,200 yards. Tyreek who?? It's almost like nobody expected HC Andy Reid and/or GM Veach to revamp the offense in the absence of Hill and the addition of new WRs from free agency or the draft, or something.

They learned the hard way this season to never count this Franchise out!! Veach doesn't get the flowers he should but his bouquet is coming soon it seems like!! There is a possibility KC doesn't have the 3 WRs who got hurt, but with Kelce, McKinnon, MVS, Fortson, Watson, Moore, Bell, and a couple more no name guys .....Mahomes and his mighty Chiefs can hoist the Lombardi next month, all the D has to do is play like they did in this game!!!!

Acho is correct. Chris jones, Frank clark and Kelce are older. He had no tyreek hill and at the start of the season people questioned could they compete. He had no wide receivers [juju,, toney] out, Harldly any running back and still he balled with rookies packeko, sky moore and kent. HE DID IT ALL ON ONE LEG. ONE LEG. He is doing most of it on his own. PUT SOME RESPECT ON PATRICK MAHOMES. THIS DUDE IS JUST LEGENDARY shout out chris jones, sky moore and bucker for their part in the final play.

He's fortunate he plays the QB position where he could stay in the pocket and still make passes. Any other position wouldn't have been able to be effective. Not taking anything away from Mahomes. He played through pain and the team all rallied

It would be wild if Mahomes manages to win the Superbowl, SB MVP, and Regular Season MVP when everybody said that they are on a rebuilding stage after losing Tyreek Hill while everybody seems to be upgrading their roster especially in the AFC and that some said that they won't even make the playoffs this year or lose early in the playoffs

The AFC Championship trophy is NOT an ugly little thing anyway!! The entire Chiefs Kingdom takes great pride in that trophy because it's ours, as in it's named after our founder/owner. The same man that made the AFL, the same man that invented the Super Bowl and the same insanely humble man that changed professional football forever. You need to have more respect for Lamar Hunt sir.

The Chiefs have Coach Ried and Pat Mahomes is teachable and willing to give his teammates credit. He's a great athlete and a great person. He's a role model.
