Oh hell ya! Love this type of video. EXCELLENT. One thing that I noticed right away that I am doing wrong is on some of those shots you used english - I would have used far too much. You are not using but maybe a half tip or less on those shots. I can see why I struggle sometimes with english. I am using far too much. Keep making these types of videos. Really really good.

I do the same thing. One thing I am starting to think about is the quality of stroke I'm putting on the cue and how that affects the action on it. Good luck!

Agreed. I'm using too much english. In tonight's league play, I won't go more than a cue tip off center, excepting stop shots.

A good drill is to hit the cue ball the length of the table, straight, and adjust the amount you move the tip to apply English. You will learn quickly how a little English goes a long way. And speed too.

I noticed the same and I also have been using too much english. So I used much less last night in my league and as a result I went 4-1. Thanks for the upload Sharivari, great video!

I personally believe the amount of English you put on the cue ball is dependent on the cue that you use, I found this out after I owned my first cue. It puts more spin on the cue ball than a standard house cue would

Thanks for using the GoPro. Please continue with that. I was shocked to see how little left or right you aimed on the ball to make it go in that direction. I've been over-doing that lots recently.

As mozb87 said, I play in a Pool Bar league and away tables vary wildly in condition. Sometimes you really have to muscle shots and exaggerate English, draw, top whatever to get action on the cue ball. The table used in the video is pristine hence the minimum adjustments, dont beat yourself up over it

I think these are the best lessons, where you explain what your thought process is and even give a few other ways to play the shot. Also the head cam puts it into perspective really well, so you can see "from the eyes" of a pro and maybe even compare to your own technique, bridge placement etc. Great lesson all around!

Love the new format! I've been playing awhile and considering myself an intermediate player. By that I mean I'm able to run a couple of racks in straight pool and if I'm presented an open rack in 9-ball I can run out 70% of the time. That being said I always take away something from your videos. Keep it up and thanks for making them.

The 1rst person view on shots is a game changer. Physically seeing the speed you hit the ball with the correct English is HUGE! Your best video yet. The practice drills in 1rst person would be awesome. Trying to see a cue ball point of contact on the corner of the screen can be confusing due to the angle being reversed in the camera. 1rst person will accelerate our comprehension of what's going on. Thanks!
