This was such a gift, Chad. Thank you for making this available. I so needed this information. I am facilitating a workshop on Sunday at church on storytelling and all these skills are part of the equation, especially the Safety part. Setting up a space where people feel safe enough to share personal information and be vulnerable is paramount. These are with people who know each other for the most part. But it is still important to create that space and have them buy in to the creation.

OH MY GOD!! Chad, you saved my life!! I was getting ready to facilitate a class at church with new material on storytelling and I was panicking about how to structure the class. I watched this video and then bought the two books you recommended. FOGS is the key and "starting with a connecting activity" saved me. It went REALLY well and people were smiling when we were done. One gal even said, "Thank you for creating a safe environment where we felt ok to share personal things." It was awesome. I love you and Will Wise. If I worked for a corporation that did regular training, you would be my go-to guy! Yay!!

😊 🙏 Too kind. Thank you. The Pocket Guide is definitely a magical little resource. Especially when paired with the We! Connect Cards. It's the price of 2.3 Starbucks coffees too... found at weand.me/store/

I really love your energy. Thats new language for I like how you connect to me, as opposed to I like you so I'll listen to you so I'll follow your lesad. I work in a school non-instructional more of a facilitator bec students don't self guide due to being more social via social media or misled peer groups. I'm not a professor

"Hi Chat! I really love your energy"! I really mean it. Thanks for sharing your story because I thought I need to tone down my "energy" but on the contrary, it's my super-power, (I speak with every cell in my body when I facilitate). Love your sharing in this video. Definitely getting your books and tools. Thank you.

Winnie, I almost failed public speaking in college because my professor insisted that I "tone down" my gestures and some of my energy. It felt incredibly inauthentic. It was satisfying to send him a recording of my TEDx talk when it was released 6 or 7 years ago 😊 Glad to be connected. And I'm excited for you to get your tools!
