    They way I see it is that if u dont like the length of the video dont watch it..hes helping all us reach a goal and to me there is no max time in that..I love every second of most videos..some I dont watch only bc it's not info I need but it's still all good stuff..I credit him to helping me get out a training rut bc I use to train like chest day 12 to 15sets and back the same..2 times a week and shoulders and arms the same..but now I do them 3times a week with only 3 to 5sets a body part and Wow I got alot better..he said there's study's that show that after I think 2 or 3 sets it's a waste bc after that u reached your maximum for muscle gain bc after that u start to train your nervous system more I think that's what he said..now it was a long time and cant find the video now..but I also heard the same thing b4 on a different channel..but whatever the reason it works

    I'm not a huge fan of carbohydrate. It equals sugar, period. But, I believe (my results do too do) 75-90 grams of carbs pre workout, and FAR more importantly 50-80 of carbs IMMEDIATELY post workout with zero fat and zero protein to absorb and spike insulin to be stored as muscle glycogen as opposed to liver glycogen, followed by 40-60 grams of protein about 20-30 minutes after, yields an amazing result as far as muscle growth. The intra training pumps are better this way as well.

  • @beornthebear.8220

    I've read much of what you've said. I do take whey soon after the workout. I tried to take casein before bed for a slow amino acid release during sleep when a lot of body repair is going on, but it gave me horrible gut aches and gas. I switched to a mixed protein blend with a slowly absorbed carb meal during the night before bed. So far it appears to be working, but this is not a double-blind placebo test, so I really don't know how much slow slowly absorbed is a real effect or a placebo effect. I'm older, and have been using the weights for quite a while.

Jerry how long time do you think it takes to fill up the glycogen after a hard workout if only ingesting protein and fat like in the ketogenic diet? It probably depends on the amount and concentration of the right aminoacids as well i figure.

    I belive that is true, but for me maybe not.. when i did it i get fat and big, when i don`t do that i get just big... i don`t know why maybe is genetics.. all this years i belived that i can be anabolic all day maybe two and now you confirmed my theory.. in the end you shuld try many ways till you find what work for you. I think the main reason why people don`t grow is what they do in the gym.. becuse normal people don`t follow diets and some grow and some don`t grow but i think is because of the syndrom i call "curl and look around".. many guys don`t push themselfs when they can and especially to the crucial last 2 sets.. i see that often in the gym and those guys look the same even when they train for one decade.. One example from my gym: I did biceps curls with one guy, we did first set 40kg for 12 reps, second 45kg for 10 reps, than i used 50 for 8 reps (55kg for 6-8 reps) and he didn`t wanted to do it and told me i am not normal.. but i was sure he can because 45 for 10 reps he did it easy.. and after one year he told me that i am on steroids.. I think that every normaly guy who give everithing in one training and belive in it and have the mind muscule connection will grow.

Gatorade has alot of bad stuff in it too like table salt and artificial ingredients. Would seem like a better option just to use those and skip all the bad in the Gatorade

    Eating something sweet should be your main concern after a workout as glycogen stores in the body will be depleted, especially within the muscle tissue, and blood sugar levels will be slightly lower than normal - so eat some fast absorbing carbs - sucrose, (sugar), fructose (fruit) or lactose (milk) - last thing we want is a body starving in a catabolic state!

    Fasting also helps in Muscle gain and recovery, due to increased levels of Growth Hormone. So its not necessary to eat protein every 4 hours. Fasting for 18 hours and eating for 6 hours is best.

  • @nixazizu

    @nixazizu

    4 жыл бұрын

    Nope. you have to eat 6 times a day every 3h basicly. If you eat only 6 hours thats not good for muscle gains because you are not getting enough from protein synthesis. If that is true then pro bodybuilders would eat like you sad. They eat every 2-3 hours. You can do fasting once per mount for healthy reasons but not for muscle gains. You can gain muscle but it's not the best solution.

    Also, growth hormone does literally nothing to muscle mass. HGH increases growth of bones, skin and many other things, but not muscles. HGH is NOT a anabolic hormone. IGF-1 is, but intermittent fasting have not been found to increase IGF-1 after increases HGH.

    I think enough people are pissed off enough about the dog to take it on board. I don't like my speakers screaming at me either.

    Someone could’ve thought it was a neighbors dog or the dog of someone passing by a front window, dickhead. Or even a dog he’s fostering. It’s not a ridiculous thing to say at all. He’s not helping you understand what type of animal it is, he’s helping you understand WHOSE dog it is making the noise. Smh at condescending pricks.
