Sunnah of our beloved RasoolAllah (saw) was fast to see the crescent moon and stop fasting after see the crescent of moon. This basic logics apply to all 12 lunar months and same we must follow day of ARFAH. 1400 years ago when there was no technology I am sure Makkah and Madinah could've celebrated EID on different dates. Allah knows best.

Haj is Arafat. Those not on Haj should fast on that day. Why do we have the difference of opinion when we have technology at our fingertips. Inhabitants of Makka and Medina pre technology I am told fasted on different days. But with the advent of technology this all changed. It boggles the mind that different ulama give different fatwas on the issue. And Allah knows best.

Shocked. Arafat Day cannot be changed according to the moon. I really thought the Mufti understood this. Arafat Day is about the Hajjis who assemble on Mount Arafat on one specific day. This day cannot be changed, no matter where you are in the world.

Praise be to Allah. The day of ‘Arafah and the fast thereon is the ninth day of the month of Dhu’l-Hijjah, which is defined for each country according to their sighting of the new moon of Dhu’l-Hijjah. So it may be on Thursday for the people of Makkah, and for others it may be on Wednesday or Saturday. It is not essential to follow the people of Makkah when there are differences in the sighting of the new moon. This is the most correct of the scholarly views, that each country has its own sighting when there is a difference concerning that. If the Muslims in Britain have sighted the new moon, then the Muslims in that country should follow their sighting, otherwise they should follow the sighting of the country closest to them. See the answer to question no. 40720. Secondly: There is a great deal of virtue in offering supplication (du‘aa’) on the day of ‘Arafah, because of the hadeeth of ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas (may Allah be pleased with him), according to which the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The best of supplication is supplication of the day of Arafat, and the best of what I and the Prophets before me said is: Laa ilaaha illa Allah wahdahu, laa shareeka lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer (There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner or associate; His is the Dominion, to Him be praise, and He has power over all things).”

@@SitaraSyed-fz7hy pakistan is doing eid on Thursday so your day of Arafah is today Magrib, how exciting, and so is mine I’m with Morocco. My friend this is our best day of the year: - fast if you can - charity + qurbani - AS MUCH DUA (literally whatever comes to your mind it can be as random as impossible as it seems just make them but sincerely knowing He is able to do all things and no one provides besides Him. Make dua for everyone for you should want for your brother what you want for yourself our prophet SAW teaches us. Begin ALL duas with praise of Allah, ask his forgiveness (so that your kind of at a level worthy of asking, not that you can’t ask when your a great Sinner NO but we must humble ourselves and realise our position in front of the Almighty) praying sayyidul istigfar is the best way of forgiveness! Then send durood and ask for whatever you wish. Be sure to include forgiveness for the ummah, your parents. And try glorifying and praising him being grateful as much as you can. AND NOT TO FORGET THE DUA MENTIONED ABOVE AT LEAST 100x. Let’s make this our best day ever with Allah, Allah Humma Ameen. - Also try praying at night Tahajjud - one night is = to laylatul qadr and this is such an underrated statement.

######Revised 5:11pm 07/05/22 "The Store Policy." Person's 'A', / Here at Such and Such Store; We have Rules and Regulations that have been passed down through The Centuries." Person's 'B', / "Why is This Particular Rule like Such and Such?" Person's 'A', / "You do not question These Policies: You just obey Them:" Do You have Doubts? Has Hypocrisy entered Your Heart?" Person's 'B', / "When Speach overlaps Self Evaluation; Anyone is subject to Hypocrisy: Including You and Myself." "As for The Doubts; I do not doubt The Originals Founders: Fore They were The Ones Who started The Rules: Which means, The Rules would of had to have An Origin." But as Time has It; Any Message or Subject that has been passed down over a Multitude of Years; Is subject to dilution. And This even happened with The Nabii (Prophets); Their Original Sahabah (Disciples), were stead fast on what was given Them: But as Time proceeded; People added to or took away from what was Originally given. Person's 'A', / "Well, I know all about The Hypocrites:" They say and don't do." Person's 'B', / "This is True: But We can end The discussion Right Here and Now; Or You can decide to continue; Then You would be expressing Hypocrisy." Person's 'A', / "What do You mean?" Person' 'B', / "With All due Respect; Did You not say That; "Whoever gave up Argueing for The Sake of Their Lord; Would receive Such and Such?" "And how do You know what People are saying and doing in private? Unless You are spying in Their Homes and Other Places of Gatherings, Which is Haraam. But Yourself and maybe Others have at This Time; Convinced Yourselves Otherwise; This is Something You should consider: While patting Yourself on The Back for not being a Hypocrite. "And is This not a diviation from The Foundation of Our Original Policies? Remember as Time progressed They added and took away." And if You have not sincerely repented; And have found Delightful Justification; As an Eagle soars in The Air over It's Prey. Then Yourself and Others of Like-mindedness have formed Somewhat of; "A Sect, rejoicing in That which is with Yourselves." Ayaah /Verse.
