The biggest example how tahajjud is fruitful for any muslim read Surah Al muzamil where Allah swt mentioned the timing and method of performing this prayer every night.

Assalaam Alaykum, plz pray at least 2 rakat Nafil, recite "ASTAGHFIRULLAH" many times, 27 times: " Allahum Maghfirli wali waalidyya, Wal Mu'mineena Wal Mu'minaath" and ask Duas.

I heard of this from Emam Omar and he said to say La’ilaha ill’Allah wa7du la shareek ellah lahul’mulk walhu hamd wahu ala kul’lee shay kadeer I heard anytime you wake up in the middle of the night that it is a huge blessing to say that. May Allah bless and guide you, brothers and sisters

Tahajud salah. You can dua anything you want. But it's not like you did once and you were answered. You need persistence tahajud salah.
