School keeps you in that 9-5 mindset. Think outside the box! These people inspire us as small creators and we look up to them. May they never lack in all spheres of their lives.
When I made my first million I set aside 750k to manage my basic needs for the next 5 years. (150k per year). Then I divided 250k in 5 parts of 50k each, the first portion was used in investing in myself, learning something new about money management and money growth, the second portion was used in investing in my small shot term idea , the third portion was used in long term investments, the forth was used for security after 5 years(in case I go broke) and the fifth was used in buying assets, crypto 25k and shares 25k

@@Tshiku building a house na buying a car that's luxury. I meant vitu ndogo ndogo like kuchip in school fee if you are in a position or if they are not capable. As in something itasaidia kuwainua kimaisha. Not luxury... that's a big no for me. I also help but si na luxury but where important.

I am a cheerful giver. I believe in the mantra that giving is receiving. We have people out there who genuinely need our help. Most of us in one way or another are products of giving, directly or indirectly(bursaries, rent, food, accommodation,etc). Someone gave to us.

Mungai pesa kidogo KIBURIIIII
One of the best conversations ever. Thanks for this.
I have a different perspective. Growing from good family background, then deciding to work on myself to make my own money, I struggle but still want to live the life set by my parents. Imagine living in Runda with your parents, then you decide to hustle your way. How do you think you will live? I decided to live in a small house but my spending is uncontrollable. It happens that my mum is so generous and I grew up knowing to give. It is in me. I share what I have with those who dont have because now I know how it feels kukosa.

Hey Collins I share the same story but it hurts when you realize all your giving is being misunderstood as a point of your weakness
@motosana1

Check your motivation for 'giving', You could be craving the love and attention that may not have been given in family. Money and materials can never replace true parental love. Question: What validation do you seek?
