i agree. personally i believe that the internet was overexaggerating his "retirement". technically, he didnt even retire, he moved on to other things. and i believe that 4 hosts helps with newer viewers not feeling pressured to find all the channels

I really like that yall talked about how “body shape” and “dressing for your shape” concepts don’t address men or masc individuals. It’s revealing of how society picks apart women bodies but also how men and masc fashion are kinda considered an after thought which is a shame. I think men and masc dressers should have more fun options for fashion. Great episode!

bingo on that! masc fashion is strangled, ironically, by the lack of attention it gives to the bodies its being put on. most masculine clothing consists of "shirts + pants" because there's this assumption that that's all we need, that just like the men (far too often) running these companies, all we want is a safe and simple corporate outfit. ofc i'm not saying that feminine clothing doesn't have this problem too, but it is unfortunately much more common in masculine clothing. i'm so tired of just wearing pants and a t-shirt everyday.

I sew a lot of costumes and wanted to start sewing normal clothes for myself too, but kinda realized I didn’t have many options when it came to what kind of clothes to wear/make without going cross-department (where nothing fits) or designing something myself which is a ton of work. I’m hoping this gets better but who knows, maybe my sketches will come to fruition

I love how every theorist channel that MatPat once did now has its own host. It gives a bunch of personality to each channel and I just really like how every host is an expert in their own topic. I will always like when MatPat did this, but I enjoy it more now that we have someone on every channel with their own personality that makes every channel seem unique. Santi's reaction when she asked if he was ready was priceless. Also, as someone who prefers masculine clothing over feminine clothing I want to thank you both for trying to give us as much or a range as possible 💛💛 💛

I feel like the first test is made to push yourself to a riskier, exploring side of your fashion journey and the last one to get your own confidence be reafirmed. So Kibbie is to get new clothes and try at social events ways to stand out and Myers to just wear something you like unconciously and feel right on your own skin. Amazing episode!!! ♡ from now on when I go shopping I will keep my Kibbie in mind when I want to take pics and go to parties but still browse those pants when I want to go out for a walk ☆

i think style theory is possibly one of my favorites in the theorist channels currently, it's very wholesome and inclusive and doesn't shy away from psychological stuff

You know, the scentbird add in the middle of the video made me want a perfume/colone video for style theory, I have no idea what scent makes a person think of a certain thing or how a smell makes someone look, so I think it would make an interasting theory

I also would love a scent based style theory about like what scent says about you. I often hate a lot of certain perfumes and scents cus they are strong and make me sneeze and I love more subtle fragrances like vanilla type smells and stuff like that.

I remember seeing an article at some point about how popular scent types (i.e., floral, spicy, fruity) correlate with the stability of the economy and world at large. I think there's a lot of potential for a "scent theory" series.

When I was younger, I watched a few videos on body shape styling, but the last one I ever watched (idk whose it was) basically said this: Find the parts of your body that stand out and that you love, then accentuate them. She had broad shoulders and loved to emphasize them so she wore blazers with big shoulders. I personally love my waist so I basically only ever wear high waisted pants and wear belts over a lot of my shirts. It's the only advice I ever needed :)

After watching all of these I think Kibbe’s recommendations were the best for Santi! If you could find a shirt like that but with anime elements (maybe on the pattern or on the back) it would be the perfect outfit!

These videos keep convincing me more and more to try some of these tests

I just recently got back into the theorists world having several years hiatus and was sad when i saw MatPat was leaving, but Amy and Santi are both amazing ! Loving the work you are both doing ! Especially Amy who faces head-on any body self esteem issues we all have but don't flaunt on the internet! Kudos Amy !

As an ENTP, I dressed like santi everyday also. I was wearing the same outfit Santi was wearing at the beginning, yesterday. The thing is I only wear solid tshirts so I have around 25-30 tshirts I wear across rainbows with multiple same colours.

I loved the first, second and last Outfit for Santi. The 2nd was my favorit, it looked just so comfy.

Usually when someone else takes over someone’s KZread or smth like that. I feel like homesickness, it doesn’t click-but you make it sound like you were the original KZreadr. That’s pretty much never happened to me!

I loved this episode! It has really encouraged me to think critically about what I want to emphasize with the way I dress and use that to inform my decisions going forward. The main takeaway from this video is to create a robust structure of what you like and how to identify that in the options presented to you - that’s so much more valuable than the prescriptive tests taken in this video! I love how Amy leads us through the haziness of what already exists, allowing us to feel like we’ve explored what’s currently out there, then pulling us back to reality where we can make sense of it all. I think that’s the essence of what I find enjoyable about the channel. I’m looking forward to more videos like this! I dont really follow style channels but i liked this one cause it was approaching style from a gamer/ scientific mindset of view. Amys pretty cool but i didnt really wonder about shaving my legs or about my body shape. Id love to see more videos with the previous mindset Like maybe like best perfumes or colognes on a budget, what clothes impress the best on a date, what matters most muscles, brains or humor to impress? Stuff like that or on a similar subject
