Right?! I honestly would have thought the same as that lady. Imagine the horror later realizing that you could have possibly killed someone who never intended to do what you suspected and then having to live with that guilt and if not, spend the rest of your life in prison over a misunderstanding? It would have been a terrible situation. That guy should be more aware of himself and of others, especially the way he hid the gun behind the counter. Its ridiculous how he could have not realize how it must have looked to others? (Although I admit I am an airheaded and occasionally lack of self-awareness, but that's not excusable in cases like this.)

Not me, but my dad: My dad was around 5 years old at that time, and he had this really favorite park he would go to and play everyday. It was around 1 min walk from my dads house so he would go alone whenever his mom or nanny wouldn’t be able to go. So anyway he went alone one day cause the nanny and mom had to go for shopping, but his grandparents were at home so his mom allowed him to go. There were two kids there, one was my dad and another was a 9-10 year old kid, also alone. My dad and him were playing cause they were kind of friends. My dad suddenly felt something was terribly wrong and was almost on the verge of tears. He begged the 10 yo to go home and he said he’s going home to. Kid said he’s been coming for 5 years now there’s nothing to worry about. So he tried to convince 10 yo to go few times but he wouldn’t listen. So dad ran home and stayed there till his mom came back, which was an hour later. But next day, all over the news was a kidnapping, in my dads neighborhood, at the same park. The time of the kidnapping was, he correclty remembers, around 6:35 pm, not two minutes after he ran home. And guess who got kidnapped? Yes, it was 10 yo I can’t imagine what would’ve happened if my dad lingered for two extra minutes. I wouldn’t even be here today if he hadn’t listened to his gut...

When I was still in HS (a sophomore I think) I was just going through my classes, all was good, then out of nowhere my gut wrenches and my mind screams at me "YOU NEED TO GO TO THE OFFICE AND GET OUT NOW!" so I get up say some bs like "I think I'm gonna be sick, can I go to the office" and get there, call my mom to come and get me ASAP. when we got home and the feeling went away. I still have no clue why, but the feeling was just so intense that I HAD to act, it was one of those feelings that said "if you don't do this you are gonna die"

I also don't know whether or not that feeling was for me or my mom, all I remember was this instinctual "I NEED to run or death!" feeling.

One time I was playing COD in my family room which is right next to a big window and glass doors facing my backyard and all of the sudden I started hearing police radio chatter and I was weirded out but kept playing because it thought that maybe it was normal but when they got louder I finally took off my headphones and still heard it, so I stood up and looked out into my backyard and there was a full on K-9 unit with like 5 police with assault rifles running through my backyard looking around hastily and they look at me with my Ps4 controller in hand staring outside and they shout “Civilian inside! Clear!” And I had no idea what was going on and I hear knocking on the door and I see a policeman through the peep-hole so I open the door and he tells me to like stay inside and don’t let any strangers in and stuff like that (I can’t remember specifics). So I just go back to playing my game and later that day I found out that this guy the police were chasing did a grand theft auto, with like a full arsenal of weapons after I think robbing something and drove the car down our neighborhood stopped right next to the canal and tried to hide in there, but was later caught. Again, it wasn’t on the news so I didn’t find out anything specific, but it was crazy. And if you’re wondering, I don’t live in a very bad neighborhood, nothing much happens there, super boring most of the time.

I was out with a few friends on their first hunt, and we found a dead body of another hunter. Limbs torn off, decapitated, and heart torn out. A friend of mine once invited me to go to a party, a few towns away, to meet a girl he was chatting up and was potential girlfriend material. I agreed and we headed over on the train. After only a short while at the party, we realise everyone there is off their face on coke and some guy with a teardrop tattoo keeps talking about his time in prison to us. We excused ourselves outside for a cigarette and ran back to the train station, never saw any of them ever again.

The one with Jeremy and the gun had the funniest ending ever.

That one about drugs at a party jogged by memory - when I was 17 I was hanging out with a group of friends at a BMX track, there was another, younger group of kids there that we vaguely knew. We were there and the younger kids start taking pills, then start huffing aerosols. When they are distracted, one of my friends grabs my elbow and points to the exit. We leave quietly before anyone notices we are gone, and go back into town to my friends house. He makes us cups of tea and brings out biscuits, then lectures us all on how we will turn retarded if we do drugs.

My friend told me a super creepy experience that happened while they were at a choir camp. I wasn't listening too well, so this isn't exactly it, but it's close enough. She was at the camp, and it was an overnight camp, so she and the people she shared her room with in the building were about to sleep. They were settling in when they saw blood on the sheets. Naturally, everyone wanted new sheets. They looked for supervisors, but it was really late, and everyone was sleeping. The building was creepy and dark, and it wasn't the easiest to navigate the looming place. They knocked on a supervisor's door. No answer. They find another supervisor's room, and thankfully, she was awake. They get new sheets, and get ready to remake the beds when they realized the sheets were bloody again AND one of the sheets had a HUGE spider with tons of baby spiders on it hiding in it! They run out and explained to the supervisor what happened, and she agreed that they needed a new room. The thing was, the suitcases were still in the room. My friend had rushed in, quickly grabbed all of the luggage, and ran back out as quickly as possible. My friend couldn't remember what had happened next, but she did remember one of her roommates puking from seeing all the blood and the spiders. I entirely understand why my friend never wanted to go there again!

I was walking through Moscow at around midnight with my best friend (visiting family in Russia) and i saw a group of people holding syringes and heating heroin on a spoon. Saw the guys repeatedly looking at us and muttering. Then one of them shouted at us to come over to talk. I had never been so terrified in my life. We ran away as fast as we could. They were probably gonna try and mug us or something.

For those asking if the first one could be real, one day when I was 17, I was walking to home from high school looking at my phone (it was 18h) and suddenly a man told me "give me your phone rn" and he tried to take my phone but I thought he was going to give a leaflet so I moved away and my answer was "no, thanks" but I usually walk too fast and doesn't even pay attention to people so I answer without knowing what was he saying, I walked some meters and I asked myself what did he say so I looked back to him and he was just standing there looking at me with a knife on his hand, that's the moment I saw the knife and I literally started walking faster (probably running Idk tbh) to the closest store I found, he didn't followed me and I was so in shock then I called a taxi cause I was scared he was waiting for me outside, never thought could work, Idk why he didn't followed me he had a knife could have done anything but maybe he was in shock that I answered like that. Probably he's not used to do that

@@tailgunner2 nice I'm currently exploring the second one (same one) but first I explored an abandoned/bankrupt place just across the street the abandoned place is like a ten minute walk down the street. In this one me and my friend played with a fire extinguisher and set off the fire alarm. That's my second "I have to get the frick out of here!" Moment

The gun-transaction one was really wild and he explained the whole scenario very well. Just goes to show that something as "mundane" as such a transaction can be extremely traumatic for those unaware (note: as a Scandinavian I don't consider that mundane at ALL, but I'd assume it unfortunately to be so for a good amount of Americans). Hope he got some psychological assistance afterwards, honestly.

Here's one and most people probably won't believe but when I was 12 me, my dad, (my 2 cousins who where teenagers at the time) Explored a huge abandoned house like 10 stories tall or something and we all had flashlights we spent 30 Minutes in there I had eventually had to jump a 10 foot fall gap that terrified me to go across it was from a window to a staircase coming up the building me and my dad went through it, my 2 cousins said they saw a security guard driving around the building so my dad said for them to head for the exit and since me and him were already inside the building we ran down so many stairs in under 2 minutes, i slipped twice, the first time I slammed my foot into a pipe it hurt real bad but the adrenaline rush I was feeling helped me push through it and my dad even slammed a metal door open with his shoulder, we jumped a fence and met up with my cousins who had just sneeked past the security guard so we ran back to the car. But one thing I will say though I swear I saw someone looking down from the highest window of the building I didn't say anything because I figured they wouldn't believe me

Easy: so long story short, I almost got laid. I say almost cause in reality I arrived a lil late and saw a whole lotta dudes waiting for me. Luckily they didn’t notice me, and I booked it. Yep, I avoided getting laid out. TLDR: got catfished and almost got laid out

SweetWheatsy Chechnya wanted out of the new Russian republic and wanted to to be independent just like Georgia, Kazakhstan, and the various other Soviet Republics/Puppet states. Russia said no and they used military action. That is a basic summary of what happened.

I remember a couple months ago, my family went on a road trip. Can’t remember why. We were driving, I noticed smoke coming from the sky ahead of us. I told my dad not drive there, I had a horrible gut feeling about it. Luckily my dad is a understanding guy and turned around and went a different way. On our way back from a diner, we happened to pass the area. It was in complete flames. Police were directing cars another way, while firefighters tried to put out the flames. We drove back home and it hasn’t been spoken of a lot. All I really know is that if we have gone that way, we must likely would’ve been caught up in the fire. Listen to your gut, and children.

15:40 Bull: So here I was with an injured leg, and three of those two-leggers start walking towards me, while making these weird noises. I keep walking away from them and they keep following. Soon they have me cornered right next to a small pen trying to get me to go in. I try to leave but they keep making those weird noises. By now I'm freaking out, and injured leg or not, I have to get out of there. I jumped at the young one, who must've got scared, cause he ran and let me get away. Thank Apis, they didn't follow after me. I still see them every now and then, but they haven't bothered me since.

@@ceros1901 Pentecost is a religious thing (in christianity, cathloticism etc.) basically some disciples were vibing somewhere but then the Holy Spirit was like "ima just do what's called a pro gamer move" and put a little flaming thing on their tongues (they weren't set on fire) and they began speaking in all sorts of languages about the greatness of god or something, the funny bit about the story is people nearby thought they were drunk. It might be a figurative thing in the Bible i dunno

Oh boy, I actually have a story. When I was in college looking for a rental near the campus, I happened upon a 5-6 bedroom house that was owned by a policeman, which my mother and I thought meant it would be the safest lot in the community. First night went quietly and peacefully as people hadn't finished moving in yet, so I thought living with all these new faces would be a neat experience. Unfortunately, this first night also demonstrated the fatal exception my mother and I had missed: the policeman didn't actually LIVE there... Just two nights into getting acquainted, the roommates kicked up a party, and not the good kind of party: girls were done things they did not want done to them, some kind of drugs were used, holes were PUNCHED INTO the closet door across from my room... there was probably more crap, but that's what I remember. Aside from a brief excursion to the washroom, I wisely stayed locked in my bedroom and phoned my mom pretty much saying "get me the hell out of here". I was out of there the next morning. My mom is an angel; she had already found an opening in the area under a new landlord - who actually lived in the house this time, and God bless his soul for taking me on such short notice - and my mom and I packed my things so quickly and quietly that my now-former roommates slept through all of it. I never saw them again after that, but I do know my mom tipped off the policeman landlord about their drug use, so I can only assume their tenancy didn't last long. My only regret is that I couldn't see the look on their faces upon seeing that my (former) room, meticulously packed with enough stuff to fill a small house, was suddenly completely empty.

3.. one would be every time I heard a lot of yelling from next door (used to be a [sketchy, but nobody could prove the guy knowingly took stolen phones, while others got poor service [whether refusal for trade because they got a dud or the guy not caring enough to help with a basic question]) phone/laptop repair/sell shop next door.), with one guy in particular yelling that the guy was lucky his shop was inside a commercial building or he would have shot him. Nobody in here liked the guy so we were all relieved when he relocated out. 2- Late night bus ride back to student house, there was this guy rocking in his seat which made me nervous. Did my best not to look sideways at him because I was worried he might see me looking and who knows what would happen. Next thing I know, he was on his feet screeching at the poor soul who was seated directly across from him. No idea what the guy thought the other one said/did because he was incohesive. Thankfully the other guy didn't stand up or escalate it in any other way.. and the guy got off a few stops later while still cursing (even said stuff about the bus driver). Driver was like.. tf was that about? I regret not asking the guy if he was ok after that confrontation.. 3- Mom had stopped in some random spot in an industrial looking area in Toronto to check map or something. For some reason, I got hit with sudden anxiety, so strong I had tears. Repeated in my head that we had to leave. Nothing happened, and there wasn't even anything to suggest we were in danger (not a soul in sight iirc).

Lmao y'all know you're too high when all asudden you're like "I gotta get outta here".

I was 12 at the time when a guy in a car pulled up next to me and asked for directions, in my head I was like “ok, just a normal human interaction” but after I started walking away, he got out and followed me to my apartment building and there was no one around, he kept following me up the stairs, while *grabbing my butt* and asking questions like “where do you live” “what’s your name” and after a bit he asks “what’s down there” and he points to the bottom of the stairs and I say “the basement” I was leaning on the guard railing to see what he was pointing at, then he grinds his crotch on my butt and then he says “can you show me what’s in the basement?” At that point all the red flags started going off and I rushed up the stairs to my apartment

when i was very young (like 10/11) i went out trick or treating with my friends on halloween. we were walking along a dark street somewhere around 10 pm, no parents to be seen. there were like 10 of us, and very close to someone in the groups home at any given time, so our parents probably thought we could take care of ourselves. as well, two of us were around 5’8/5’9, so we could pass as adults at a distance (if it weren’t for our costumes). when we were passing by our school, we heard this metallic scraping sound and looked around to see what was causing it. i spotted a guy (maybe 16) on the other side of the street dressed as ezio from assassans creed dragging a sword behind him on the road. i - having just finished ac 2 - shouted out that i liked his costume and he turns to look at us. and then he charged, sword held at the ready. he took a swipe at me and missed, before heading back to the other side of the road and continuing on his way. to this day i don’t know why he did it, who he was, or why he decided to turn away after trying to strike me. all i know is that my gut instinct was to club him with my candy bucket and not run like everyone else, and maybe that had something to do with it

When OP mentioned the OPP at 7:09 I was immediately like: oh that makes more sense, Ontario the land of stupid.

7:00 my uncle had a story of the exact same type of thing happen when he was young but it was cigarettes not fireworks

scariest I got to get out of here moment was when I was camping. I was camping with my family(with aunts and cousins) and my older cousin and I decided it would be a good idea to go drive to a lookout point on a path near our campsite. As we made our way towards the (what we believed to be) top., we saw this sign saying that there were campsites ahead. We decided to go further up cuz why not? As we're going there we notice a strange symbol on a rock. A little while later we decided that Nope were not going any further. We turn around and head back to our campsite. Turn's out that there were another one of those symbols that we saw earlier on a rock pushed aside(probably so no one could see it). Also, we discovered that the sign for the "campgrounds" was fake and painted on a piece of metal and designed to look like an official campsite sign. Never going there again.
