After the update, I thought something was wrong with my Internet spent an hour trying to figure it out. Not realizing it was the update now it feels like I cannot win a gunfight and every match I have is against try hard pubs.

You are again 100% correct, last time i played it was server lag, now its lots of little bugs and still the hit detection is out. My bullets take 2 times the amount as anyone else even with the exact same gun or even a more powerful 1 to kill. The brought the update to season one before they fixed the game, im sure they are under pressure to release all the crap not needed at this time. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

@@NyteFalll I Also have been getting EU Servers while I Am in NA East. and even in east servers i get around 60-70 ping when my internets good! I Used to legit get around 35-50 ping stable and now its unstable. and it even kicks me out of some matches too :///

You are right, this game is worse now. Spiderbot is annoying, the hit reg is worse, server desync is out of wack, net code needs to be reworked again and team balancing is a joke if you are a solo player. My acr feels like it’s shooting water instead of bullets even though I am still doing pretty good. But yea overall feel of the game is probably worse than it’s ever been before….the fundamental parts of this game like running for cover/retreating and gunplay are fucked

Yeah the spiderbot in my opinion shouldn't do 40 damage, but they are fixing it so you can shoot it off again. But overall are you struggling to stay positive or get as many kills as you were before?

Nah im not necessarily struggling to go positive or do well….It is a little bit harder to do so though because I feel like a lot of really good players came back from their break away from xdefiant to grind out season 1. But i definitely feel like it’s WAAAAAY harder and I been struggling so bad to WIN these games as a solo player or in a squad of two. The team balancing has me playing my heart out just to lose cuz my teammates are going double or triple negative in tdm. I cant play any of the other game modes cuz if I cant win in tdm….im for sure gonna struggle worse in obj game modes

I just got better and now I’m dropping 30-35 kills a game. Feels good and I’m on the eastern server.

No, it’s not just you even my friend today. We paired up and played about 20+ games. Every single match was a sweat fest and I would do good. I could go 39 and 20 for example which is still bad for me compared to how I was doing prep patch but then I look at my team and the other team and it’s just so lopsided I’ve started tracking and taking photos of the amount of times our teams are very lopsided like the game expects me to carry. I don’t know if something is just off. I completely agree. Great video hopefully they hear it somehow. I did try going to official channels to pint this out no word yet

Yeah idk what's going but it's so frustrating. I haven't seen anyone else talking about this, like the bigger creators which is very weird.

I didn't really mind people junp spamming when I could do it in return. Now, I get the penalty but I'm certain some others aren't getting it. Thats what is making it irritating getting killed by someone who is spamming way more than 4 times. Since the update I'm plagued with that ability glitch where I can't use it. Had multiple error messages during a match and get returned to main menu. This never happened to me before season 1. Another new one is some players lag towards me making it look like they teleport suddenly right up to my face an I'm dead. This also never used to happen.

@Inkslanger69 feels great to me, still having great performances. Have you tried learning from your mistakes instead of making excuses?

I dropped an 84 match last week and all of a sudden my bullets barely hit, I get killed behind cover and enemies do so much as look funny at me and I drop dead. I thought it was only me with this issue. This game is getting as infuriating, if not worse than Apex Legends and I'm really considering uninstalling. A whole year waiting for nothing.

Hi NF, good content. I'm on XboxX and having similar issues since the updates. Not sure if it's hit detection or netcode or whatever but I've been struggling last couple of days. Do you know if they rolled back the sniper flinch fix? It seemed to work for a few days, you could but a couple of rounds in a sniper and make them back off but it seems like it's back to how it was before the patch

This is the second time they have added more flinch to the snipers and it feels good for a day then back to the same old stuff. I think people are finding bypasses for that too

It's definitely worse,i noticed it the moment season 1 started. I have much worse hit regs,I empty the vector in the opponent s face and he kills me with 2 bullets no matter what he is using. If it stayed like that i am gonna stop playing

yeah I experienced that with Libertad and my healing special just stops working and it took me a little bit for me to find out that now if I switch abilities that helps to bring it back but super crazy going into menus is a pain. I was slamming on my button hoping to heal my team and me just to find out I can't and then my timer wasnt doing anything. The spiderbot shoot off is complete nerfed shooting down does not work now unless you shoot like a lot one time I died before it came off and the other time it eventually came off but I was like welp they caught on to that work around lol.

I've definitely started taking random damage around walls again, and I could be tripping, but I feel like they made the TTK a bit slower, but that could just be the net code but nothing nefarious like shadow nerfing guns or raising base HP I hope

I try, but sometimes when you give an honest opinion of things on the internet and it's negative you get those people in the comments saying stop whining or stuff lol

I play on an xbox and on Nvidia Now in the UK and the ping difference for the europe servers on both platforms is 25ms of a difference (18ms on Nvidia Now and 35ms on Xbox). ADS tracking is slow even with the multiplier applied (increased). I get swarmed too quck, I can only get 1 kill. I feel COD is better gameplay at least I can take out multiple targets. It feels that the other player is seeing me running slow. Bunny hopping is also slow. They need to fix hit registering and netcode before anything else

I think those 2 things are the core issues right now

Ever since game came out my ping is always on 70 to like 85 and i literally get deleted all the time , i play on pc my aim is good but ive barely been able to keep an overrall career kd thats 1 ,sometimes ill drop like 28 to like 30 bombs with like maybe 8 to like 12 deaths but idk what it is man i feel like my region in oce is just constant sweats and bull shit like getting shot behind walls and stuff , the new update from what i played it definitely felt exactly how u explained it beaming kids almost using a whole clip with a fully kitted out weapon just to be 2 tapped , We need rockafella back in rotation i only got to play it once and i really liked how small it was They need to patch the game so it doesnt feel clunky like use the same net code as rainbow 6 seige or something , its not my computer, its not my connection, its the game Cheers for the vids bro 👌

I have a bug since last update where my character would take on some other faction character’s voice and keep talking. Like, « reloading », « changing mag » etc all the time without me doing any action at all and thus revealing my position to anyone in the vicinity. Very annoying.

Does the enemy team hear voice lines like that though?

server desync is a major issue right now, i havent experienced the ability bug it sounds annoying. Overall though the update needs some patches but every game gets a little buggy after a major update, they'll fix it and we'll move on. We need a better fix for the servers though

Yeah I get that, but if it's a new bug I get it, but breaking something that wasn't broken and what your breaking is already broken on another faction is annoying

Dang, I agreed with all your opinions. It has been a downfall since the update, old bugs making a return was the funny part. Ubisoft being Ubisoft, i'm not hoping too much for the fix.

There was like 1 or 2 patches early on where it felt a little better, but for sure the last 2 or 3 have just been worse and worse

They accidentally added Rockefeller cause they are supposed to release a new map once a month and each season is three months so we should officially get Rockefeller next month

@@NyteFalll it wasn’t supposed to be in the game in the first place so it’s not like they “took it back” it was a mistake and they reverted it within like 3-4 hours so most people didn’t play it. The spawns on the map were crippling so I hope they fix that before it launches.

The game is buggy but the base game is still fun to me. I forget to use my abilities a lot of time because I'm used to cod and just shooting my gun so a lot of the bugs with abilities don't bother me so much. Spider bot should just be replace with a new ability

For sure a bummer i hope they dont completely ruin the game

netcode is trash first of all. and half the time im pressing my "E" ability, it does the animation but doesnt actually pop it. sometimes if i press reload then die, i then respawn reloading a clip thats already full. little things like that kinda piss me off tbh

Game hasn't changed much for me except for TDM is bugged out on PS5. Lags stutters and glitches when I ADS on an enemy. Doesn't do it on any other game mode and it doesn't do it on TDM on Xbox series X. Everything else is pretty much the same. Dying 6ft behind walls isn't new to this game or FPS in general. I went back and played all the older CODs and dying behind walls happened on them too.

Not sure why it's so hard to get it right with the walls, doesn't happen on other shooter games like siege or apex

I'm a sniper and I've gotten a few hit makers in the head against the new faction but the body is still the same so aim lower

After the update my game has started crashing, not crash once before update, still getting the Delta-24 error after they say it is fixed. Spiderbot bugs, constant jump/crouch spam, it just overall feels like the update/season was clearly rushed and has broken so many different things. I love this game, but it may be time for a break for a week or so until they iron out some of the QOL issues.

Oh and I forgot, there is no shot in hell that they increased the flinch on snipers. Still taking 3-5 shots and get the shot off, no chance.

said it day 1, this game is only popular now because it has no SBMM and IBMM, these are literally the two only selling point of this game. the gameplay feels weird and the abilities are gamebreaking trash. if they don't make drastic changes, this game won't last for long..

I have little issues with the abilities, some need some more tweaking, but over that aspect doesn't bother me

Honestly the game has been fun. But it does have its moments… I have crossplay turned off and I was dropping decent games then my brother joined whos on ps5 and it was all down hill from there lobbies were unplayable!!

Oof lol. If I turn crossplay off it takes forever to find a game like 10 minutes for unranked

The new flash effect is just a horrible way to implement in a game like Xdef, seriously takes me out of the game so hard. The Spider bots are annoying to the point where you start to question the direction of this game. It was a neat way to remove them off your face but apparently that was an unintended bug, that just scares me. Leavers in Ranked and now an increase of hackers could be the straw that breaks the camels back.

There will always be those people, if it doesn't effect them they will never understand, but the second it does trust and believe they run to twitter to complain about it.

If XDefiant dies, I'd like to recommend you a different game. It's co-op, but the best one out there: Deep Rock Galactic. Honestly, one of the most fun games that exists. Got over 500 hours clocked in now and no, I'm not addicted. Shush.

So anyone who negatively reviews a game is a cry baby? I know it's free but I got a founders pack, not saying I'm entitled to a better experience, but I put money into this game for content and because I want it to be good. But overall the game feels harder now for some weird reason and it does for many people as well

Listen, when they first said that's what the ability was it sounded crazy broken, but once you get in to play you really don't even notice.

Feel like the game is getting worse actually… i see more and more unstability and performance issues. Unstable gpu performance and fps like a rollercoaster🫣
