I too have really struggled to find someone who is prepared to wait until marriage to have sex, but I will not compromise. In my experience that cuts out 99% of the people that I have spoken to but I know that God has someone for me who will wait and who will be happy to do things God’s way. I’ve done it completely wrong in the past but I’m determined to do it right this time 😁 Thank you for the conversation x

Lauren Windle is an absolute gem. The way she dignifies guests on this channel and meets each person where they're at and in what the Lord is teaching them is really so kind and gracious. Praise God for loving and teaching us all in His own way and in his own timing

so i recently had a similar conversation with the eldership and my church with regards to dating and how i can prepare (in my single season) for Godly marriage / Kingdom relationship. i few points they brought up: Wholeness - finding and seeking wholeness with God as a single, knowing and believing that His love is unmatched, and that His grace and mercy are sufficiant enough each day friendship - i feel this gets neglected alot, and i for one have sort of "bypassed" this step when it comes to persuing a partner. having a strong foundation in friendship can be such an important tool in potentially seeing this person as a life partner.

If youre a guy,, you dont need to try to have a friendship with me first, thank you. I only want REAL friends with no secret agendas in my circle. It upsets me whenever I find out that a guy "friend" thinks he can weasel his way out the friend zone because i like him as a friend. Guys think theyre so slick. And I will lose my respect for you js. Don't try the friendship card with everyone bc some girls don't appreciate that stuff

Here's a question for you, are you single by choice or are you single by force? I'm single because society has it in their minds that I ruin lives and no matter how far over the age of consent a woman is, someone makes it sound like the person is a small child and not a full grown adult. Add to that the metoo movement and agenda to get every man in existence arrested because they "don't feel comfortable!" If the metoo movement followers were to have their way, it wouldn't be too long before they literally try to make it a crime for any males to exist and expect the government to put every male in existence to death.

I personally quite like to hear from married (older) people because they were once single and they know what it's like on both sides. As long as they are not making it seem like it's the be-all/end-all (but that's for both sides). I'm happy either way, single forever or married, so I don't appreciate being made to feel I lack something!

I’ve always been a Christian but at a point in my youth lost my way and I had twins out of wedlock and I feel in dating and being rededicated to Christ and choosing to live out my Christian values of celibacy until marriage and living out how he intended for us that I will be judged because they will think she has a child already why should I have to wait so definitely I agree it is very dangerous to assume because they are a Christian they will have the same values as you and just because I’ve sinned before doesn’t mean I continue to do so I repent and turn away and work to be better
