I actually have an absolute solver oc but they still aren’t as popular as disassembly drones because I’m in a discord server and I’m the only one with an absolute solver oc

Simple awnser: there is only 26 letters in the alphabet and three are already taken so that means people will have the same letters oftenly.

I’d like to give an example on my own for this. The one thing I like that I did with my Murder Drone OC’s in name my OC, EA, and that’s because her name also stands for ‘Erica Asashin’ which is also Japanese for ‘Assassin’, as she is programmed to be more of an assassin than a vampire, which is what Disassembly Drones are usually compared to… And… then I point to my other OC’s, ‘SW’ which are my online names initials, ‘Prototype-SW6’ who is given his name due to lore reasons I won’t get into, and my worker drone OC, ‘Nick’… just Nick basically, I name my characters based off of who they are as a character

I'm not trying to be a 🤓 but assasin in Japanese is "暗殺者・Ansatsusha", not "アサシン・Asashin".

While with dissasembly drones situation is understandable, seeing as someone has similar worker drone names is pure rarity. I was coming up with a character, with MPN2 Survivor bandit as a ref. I decided to call him Scav. And the thing is that few days after on r/MurderDronesOCs Man-In-A-Gasmask posted his worker drone also named Scav. Afterwards i decide not to post my OC, to not get accused in copyrighting. Coincidence?

I mean as long as they don't have the same outfit and personality I feel like it could be fine since things have the same name all the time

The idea of Disassembly Drone names are Serial Designation {insert letter here} because the letter is their designated ID of sorts and therefore have a full name that branches off from it I've seen some MD OCs around that actually use this and their Serial Designation letter as an abbreviation to their full name My fandom OCs for example; Serial Designation X-C3 (Xin-Catalyst-03 in full) and Serial Designation P-C1 (Prototype-Catalyst-01) I have seen another SD X, but their actual name was different from my OC. Murder Drones OCs can still keep that originality if ppl are aware that their names aren't just a letter slapped over a new face, if any of that makes sense

This is a problem I encountered while making my murder drones OC. So I tried to think of ways to get creative. Instead of Serial Designation M, I decided to remake it into an interesting way. So I applied some thought and I came up with two options:SD-MZ or MZ and a number. I decided SD-MZ felt very plain and didn't seem right. I wanted to give my OC something better since he was my first. So I thought of a number I could use. And then I remembered how in his backstory, he has a lucky number, 8. So then I decided MZ-8. I don't know how good it is, but I tried my best and I think it goes well.

That's a really interesting name, same goes with my oc SD-M for this account, or you can just call her Mika, I wanted to make her interesting so I decided she can have 2(technically 3) names, SD-M or Mika! ^^

When I got into oc’s I thought about a whole new unit of drones I called retrieval drones They were equipped with pretty much the same weaponry as disassembly drones but were built to were they didn’t need as much oil and didn’t share the as much bloodlust, this part is based of theory entirely but since they were built only to kill those who got in there way and/or they were sent to kill they often kept there hair long Another thing is the primary coloration in disassembly drones either the yellow is something all of them share or it’s a group designation thing despite the arm bands each of them have If it is something they all share then blue for all retreival drones, if it’s group designation then a range of blue, green, orange, and white. I don’t have a naming system in mind yet so i have to figure that out So far the only oc I have is a fem drone that was deemed defective and initially sent to be scrapped however there was a mistake and she was sent to copper 9 instead Due to issues she often glitches between orange and blue with the only unchanged thing being her eyes (one blue one orange) I still have to come up with a name and full on design but I already have a concept in mind (I HAD TO EDIT BECAUSE MY CAT STEPPED ON MY IPAD WHILE I WAS TYPING)

Unlike the common OCs, mine is actually a worker drone. Anyways, Fortis is a rare example of a worker drone. He is a Roman Latin speaking worker. Although, he is also fluent in English. He was originally an Italian worker, however self taught himself Classical Latin, and changed his name. He gained English Proficiency through school. He is a survivor of the first Wave of Disassembly drones, however his family didn't survive. One of his eyes was severely damaged, ending with him wearing an Eye patch with a Raven, or crow embroidered on it. He wears Military-esc gear, as he is quite a bit of a nerd on history. He absolutely HATES Disassembly drones. Particularly one: Serial Designation V. He founded the Copper Reclamation Force, a sort of Nation, or state, whos sole purpose and goal is to rid Copper-9 of any Disassembly drones. Currently, the CR F controls Colonies 1-16. However Khan's colony is split on wether to join them. As most worker drones in his colony were pacifists. Currently, the CRF is mounting pressure on the Remaining Disassembly Drones, on wether or not they will attack them. They are also incredibly secretive about their operations.

To make a murder drones oc. You just: Put in Serial designation… maybe make it overpowered and ultimate killer, demonic god etc etc…. Generate a random alphabet, BOOM HOW TO MAKE A EVEN O V E R P O W E R E D oc: Make it a worker this time? No difference, here’s the fun part, make it kill disassembly drones instead

Something I did with the names of my MD's was to give them letters but also numbers. Meaning them being called by letter is the short version of their name.

Whenever I make disassembly drones oc, I would pretty much give them two letters, a letter with a number or just give them what we usually call like “Ivory”

I am a huge murder drones fan so I didn’t need the recap but I wanted to try the experiment

Whenever I make a Murder Drone, I like to give them a Worker Drone name that starts with that designation sometimes. Depending on which personality they have of course…

This is why I used a letter followed by numbers for my dws (one of which has a name that is a weed joke. F-20) While the two main wds are named after parts of tech (alloy circuitbreaker and dr.malware sprocket)

So I made three ocs: 2 Disassembly Drones one regular and a Cat Hybrid and a Worker Solver Virus Drone. And I figured that I can’t just use on letter since all the letter of the alphabet is taken So I came up with this: SD N.M (Nekomata) and SDW (Widget) ray

I noticed that the names are similar while looking up a name to give my murderdrone oc So I just used 2 charaters example D,0 and put is as D.0. Thanks for the advice

I gave all my Disassembly Drone OCs single letter names, then a secondary name, as one pretty much tries to distance himself from being a Disassembly Drone as much as possible, so took a new name [ X -> Xenophon ] and the other two just kinda got named by the worker drone they're using to get into Coloneys [ Lycan: You two have letters for names? I am not calling my ... friends ... (kidnappers) letters. Your names are now Eidolon and Raptorial." ] Can't have unoriginal names if you give INTENSE BACKSTORY ... I mean extra naming parts. Although, this was mostly just for the character lore lol.

If you are gonna make a murder drones oc, at least make them distinguishable from other murder drones ocs

I started using unique letters to suit my murder drones OCs. Letters that aren’t just the basic alphabet but can still be pronounced in some way. (Also, this may be old but according to a stream I believe Liam said there are multiple disassembly drones with the same letters running around since you’ll run out of letters eventually.

I know it has nothing to do with the video, but I wanted to introduce my Murder Drones OC, well, she is not a worker drone or a disassembly drone, she is a former caregiver drone (I couldn't put it all in)

I named my murder drone oc "Serial Designation Hive"

I have about two disassembly drone ocs and one worker oc I wanted to try and make another worker but I ended up making another murder drone which I named maggie or M if I can I will possibly attempt to make maggie a worker drone since my only worker is yuri and the two disassembly drones of P and CN I still have yet to make a meaning or name for cn considering I have M/maggie and P/penny I honestly gave more lore to yuri than the rest of the trio which. Turned into a squad now that Maggie’s included I made CN originally as an alternate n but I changed his design up slowly and he ended up being an md oc with the CN still in-hand Penny was supposed to be different from a disassembly drone if I could make his sheet I could give more details about him For yuri I ran out of design ideas for making her a murder drone so I ended up just making her a worker drone and her design to me just looked like I could name her yuri if I can also make her sheet i could give details Becasue I also gave her a katana For maggie I don’t have any details for her yet until. I decide what she’s gonna be because she’s my recent drone

I also see murder drones oc's have the same name as my oc,my oc's name is serial destination A cause my name starts with an A(my name is Angelina)but sometimes its ok with me cause there nane may have the letter A at the start of there name and maybe thats why some peoples oc's are the same with other peoples oc's(i have a theory for murder drones,this is my theory,there could have been 26 murder drones cause theres 26 letters in the alphabet and in episode 6"dead end"you can see bodies of maybe murder drones that died but J,N,V some how survived but idk if this is real but its just my theory)
