I think auto upgradation is given to all the persons who booked in a single ticket, coz we three people were travelling frim NDLS to SDAH by the Duronto Express and all three of us were upgraded.

Bhai let me clear it is extremely rare case in indian railways that if a train has sleeper & AC coaches and AC coaches are empty Second thing dat i nvr saw this option I generally book 10-12 tickets evry month but i nvr come to knw about this facility of indian railways can u shw me this option in superfast trains ?

I have booked my day time journey in general and night journey in sleeper in the same train. My waiting list was 34 and now I got a confirm ticket upgraded to 3AC. Therefore I am watching this video to know the upgradation process . Thanks alot.

The thing is that even if you book your ticket through IRCTC app this auto upgradation facility is available, I got auto upgradation through the app while the ticket I booked was for sleeper, in waiting list status. There was no option for auto upgradation in the app

yes auto upgradation also 100% benefits for passengers last 20 april I had trevling from bihar to new delhi with 3 ac it's my railways counter ticket than 4 hour our ago from train departure the chart has been done me and my family seat is convert in to 3 ac to 2 ac it's very happyness for me...

Ye service e-ticket(IRCTC) means agar mai apne phone se karu to aayega auto upgrade ka option ya only window ticket par hi hai ye service

Shubham, good video, but 1 correction. Auto upgradation happens with single traveller PNR and for those who have a WL ticket. Confirmed tickets are rarely auto upgraded. Has happend twice with me, once in hwh ypr Duronto on a 2 ac wl ticket, upgraded to 1 ac and second time in hwh SC Falaknuma exp, again on wl 2 ac to 1 ac

I think the second option that was"randomly" completely realistic.Because I have gotten this chance thrice in 2017.When I booked two tickets from Basti to New Delhi in Sleeper class and I have opted this category We were heading to station meanwhile I got a sms by railway that your ticket has been upgraded.And in this winter the same thing happened when I had booked a ticket in Tatkal mode in sleeper class my ticket was upgraded to 3rd AC by railway.And the the last one recently happened in the journey of Hyderabad.One thing I would like to mention here that neither I had chosen auto upgrade nor booked earlier the point here is that it randomly happens

mere papa ne jis din journey krni ti usi din subah 7:00 baje ticket lia slr ka with 26 wating. Train ka chart banne ke baad (5:00 baje) unka ticket cnfrm hoke autoupgrade ho gya. so how can we say ki " jo pehle Karwaae auto upgrade pe use hi milega". Train chandigarh se usi din mrning me 3:00 bajechl cuki thi and bhopal station pe 7:40 ka time tha.
