Well done, astronomy only gets better and better with more time and experience, I use a nexstar 4se and also a 130 to get bigger views. A pair of decent binoculars also lets you spot a decent amount. Enjoy your sky watching and maybe one day you will discover something no one has seen before, after all there are billions of objects and since everything moves over time new stuff will always occur. Never think everything has already been done. Happy hunting.T

@@tonib5899 i think i already discovered something lol, while looking at venus, i viewed an asteroid-like planitary body that appeared to be around venus, it cant be just a lense flare, i took several photos of this wierd thing, not only that, it appeared to orbit venus, and it wasnt a star, or spec of dust, it was not illuminated by anything

@@TerraSpaceIndustries Well done n brilliant observations. Always let your nearest Astronomy Club or University know along with a copy of the footage. That way you get the actual credit and others can follow up with a lot bigger ground based observatories. When looking at things close to the suns orbit always make sure you use filters to protect your eyes. You need them for future skywatching. When I get out of hospital I will be looking there myself. Don’t let negative voices on here put you off. For example the one above. Happy hunting and well done on the observations.

@@thebrainchild1 So what, you should be ashamed. There is a young Astronomer doing very well and words of encouragement go a long way, but go ahead and criticise someone for something you didn’t do. Coming across like you do, shameful.

Southern hemisphere inhabitant here! Thank you for talking about our skies! It is indeed beautiful to see Sirius, Canopus and Alpha Centauri at the same time! But I haven't had the chance to marvel at the Big Dipper and the Nortern Star yet! I hope to get it asap.

I hope you do, I’ve always anted to see the Southern Hemisphere skies. The Northern star and constellations are cool but I reckon so are the southern.

Jupiter is now too far away and in a stable orbit. I do reckon though that when a few planets are in alignment it should have a gravitational effect especially if aligned with the moon. Many of the planets are already in orbital resonance.
