Yes, black bear I have personally seen a snake. However, the snake wasn't invading our space. The snake kept to his part of the trail. We saw it on the way back as well. If you have any other questions feel free to ask 🌊🆒✅

Snakes are a common sight anywhere in FL , if you're in a park you might see a snake or 2 but they're usually garden snakes and black racers which will avoid you if they notice you, just be careful near any body of water in Sanford gators live in them but they dont mess with people but there are water moccasins which are very venomous and will charge/chase you they are fat looking matte black and there tail just ends in a little stump

Plenty of very large deadly reptiles......some wear badges.

Is Sanford on the Wesr Coast or East ? Is there good reasonable hotels and bars that don't close early ?

Sanford is more centrally located but closer to the east coast. About 45 - 60 minutes from the coast. Plenty of bars located in Downtown Historical Sanford; opened till 2am.

Check out Tuffy's, westend, celery city. Most of the bars are walking distance from each other
