The "old but look like kids one" is weird for me. Not due to attraction but straight-up due to design. A lot of "legal lolis" or whatever they're called have designs that are noticeably different from actual children in most anime. Tatsumaki is one of the easiest examples. If not for her height, I'd literally just assume she's a short petite woman, similar to Rukia from Bleach.

A man of culture I see. People seem to idolize Louis for some reason even though she was a terrible person. Like its not even a comedic kind of tsundere violence it was straight up abuse. For example at some point I'm pretty sure she got mad (as usual) and while the dudes trying to explain himself she goes up to him and cracks him in the face with a whip and leaves a legit bruise on his cheek and the mood is far from lighthearted. It's to the point you feel uncomfortable cause theres no gags to be had. Shes legitimately pissed and she's legitimately hurting the dude and its not just a once or twice kind of thing. Its constant. Like she'd legit slap him in the face and berrate him like a dog throughout the entire show. I would have preffered if he ended up with literally anyone else or even be alone. She was that terrible. I mean, I'm no stranger to the tsundere trope but this one was just done terribly. Best way I can deacribe it is it feels like watching a real life toxic relationship

Pretty sure most people that like those characters don’t even care about canon ages anyway, even if they know; they just meme it or use it as a way to point out hypocrisy on reverse cases (like everyone whose attracted to characters like Yoko Litner who somehow are just 14). It just devolves into the debate if you care about aparent appearance, canon/intended age, both or neither for these cases... and how the debate feels kinda pointless when it's just a bunch of random fictional labels in the end, anime is just so random with these to try and get some kind of moral consensus over it.

I've seen Luffy get up and win a fight because his friend called out to him, Naruto talks about his friends all the time, Bleach does also, the final straw was seeing chivalry of a failed knight literally do that. No. You don't forget how to draw a character, let alone accidentally draw them older. Murata makes excellent use of shading and highlights to create incredibly well defined drawings, but that doesn't make the characters look older or younger. Just better drawn.

In the order of how he mentioned them, my thoughts:- 1) Inner Demons are cool as hell. Most of the time they are enjoyable like Sukuna for example. 2) Power of Friendship is fine a lot of the times. Usually the strength of a character's bonds IS important so I kinda get it. 3) Dumb MCs just like me frfr. Also they can be dumb but not scummy. That solves the issue for me basically. 4) Love Triangles are pretty interesting and emotional if done right so I also give them a pass. 5) Tsunderes are fine and sweet and all as long as they're not excessively on the nose and mellow out over time. 6) Comedic Relief Hitting can be REALLY funny for no reason if timed perfectlt ngl. 7) Fanservice is also fine by me I dont really care for it either way. You have it or not it doesnt affect my watching or reading of the series at all honestly. 8) Horndog trope is the absolute worst tho. In VERY few cases can it be done properly like Denji and...I dont even know any other good one. Its genuinely easily the worst one for me. 9) Ngl this may be a hot take but as long as its fictional I really coulsnt care less what typw of characters you like as long as YOU KEEP THAT SHIT TO YOURSELF!! I do NOT wanna know your weird tastes man and just not caring about this trope alone makes me more lenient than 90% of the general population. But I really couldnt care less as long as real people arent involved just for the love of all that is holy miss me with that and do not talk to me about it. Keep that shit locked up in your own brain.

When executed well or not overly used I don't think any trope here is that bad or annoying. Its only when its overdone in verse (cough cough Mineta, Sakura hitting Naruto, OP and FT fan service) is when its actually annoying

Tsunderes aren’t that bad if they’re reasonable like Makise Kirusu who is a genius scientist stuck with a weirdo friend and love interest in Okabe so that makes sense.

I really want to see a different take on the immortality thing. Not the immortal child body, but they manage to gain immortality in middle/old age and eternally have to deal with back pain and generally being middle age (40-60).

The pervert trope only really works if they also have some serious moments like Jiraiya or to a lesser extent Master Roshi (MHA really made the guy with the super power of sticky balls a pervert)

I’ll say Tatsumaki especially in the later chapters doesn’t look like a child. She’s small don’t get me wrong, but like 2 inches smaller than the average woman in Japan and she definitely looks like she’s in her 20’s.

Pervert and comedic relief abuse are neck and neck for the worst, probably comedic relief abuse since it's never done in ways that it's funny and happens far too often. Though some pervert moments can be worse like when it's an old man perving on someone underage.

I think inner demon is one of the best reused story elements in shonen.

I think that people forget that Fairy Tail is an anime about friendship. Its whole magic system is enhanced and affected by emotions.

For the old girls that look like kids it depends for me there are small women out there if it is like tatsumaki or Roxy I don’t dislike it that much but if it’s like that love interest for Ban it is more of a problem

Just gonna throw this out there: the way HunterxHunter did the "old woman who looks like a child trope" was actually really well, since she wasn't used in a creepy way, she actually had a personality that wasn't trying or being over the top sexual while acting like a child, she acted her age and wasn't creepy to the main characters (who were two preteen boys), the reason why she looked like this felt relatable and didn't seem like something the writer just pulled out of nowhere, and most importantly it felt like she had a reason to be there that wasn't being pedophile bait

The best inner demon concept so far, I have seen is from Bleach, the take a step further to make the white ( the demon) part of ichigo himself. The people know bleach for it's fihjt but, I know bleach for it's inner conflict, philosophy and dialogues

I’ve personally have known people in their mid 30s that look they’re 12, and they have parents twice their age that look like their close in age sibling. It’s hard enough for many to get get through life looking like a kid/early teen as it is. They don’t need influencers body shaming them, and criticizing their loved ones for being attracted to them. while an all around dumb mc hurts, it’s nothing compared to being smart in every area except relationships, some of the missed hints hurt more than having no one interested in you.

Fire Force went WAY too far with the Tamaki gag... I think she's about to do something cool, then all of a sudden she's naked... Like that one cool enemy in the White Clad who was defeated solely by that gag... I started to like her a little more when she actually showed some grit and wanted to train with Shinra and Arthur, hopefully she becomes respectable in season 3 since that's upcoming... CANT WAIT TO SEE BANSHOMAN SHINRA THOUGH

The whole thing with "adult" characters that look like kids in weird no matter how you frame it. If you approach a lolicon and show them a pic of an anime child that looks and is child and they know that they are only 7 they will say that is weird. But somehow if you replay that same scenario and tell them the character is 700 now its moral and fair game. NOOOO!!! YOU'RE AN EDP445!!!

Everyone always talks about the old girl that looks young but the young girl that looks old is just. They will hypersexualize character who is 13. That's triffling

From the least annoying to the worst, I personally got : 9- Inner demon, cliche asf but still badass 8- Love Triangle, really good when done right 7- Power of Friendship and Plot Armor, HxH is legit one of the only shonen I know to not force on it and it’s like an UFO of the genre, so… 6- Dumb MC, once again so much overused but yet iconic so we kinda roll with it 5- Tsundere, when done right and not just being sassy bratty bitches 4- Comedic Abuse, unfunny imo but not so much worse yet 3- Loli-like goddess, clearly stupid and weird but out of that, it doesn’t really impact the story or wtv so I just genuinely 🙄 and gets over it 2- Pervert aah characters, either useless (Mineta) or wastes Good characters (Sanji) for a stupid trope 1- Fanservice, It’s either light and just boring or excessive asf (Fire Force) and an actual pain in the ass, women are all mid-written at best in shonen so it’s not really surprising but it just makes things even worse tbh 💀

I'm pretty sure the Old Girl that looks like a kid is a culture thing, i think its called petite, which isn't the worst on this list, because it doesn't really annoy me like the perv dose.

Tatsumaki is definitely a petite woman and not a loli, even though saitama calls her a lost kid she isn't portrayed as one. People call her a loli because she's always angry but most short girls i know are always feisty
