Ok as a mother the baby doll story is actually pretty terrifying to me. When my son was a newborn I had some pretty bad postpartum depression/anxiety, and on occasion walking him through a doorway I would see myself bashing his head across the doorway. It was absolutely horrible and traumatizing, I love him more than anything, so my brain doing that me was terrifying.

I hope you have been able to heal from that trauma. PPD is so real. I’m 30 & my mom recently confessed how bad hers was when she had me. She cried telling me that she imagined throwing me down stairs or hurting me in others. She said she was worried that even just having those thoughts might have hurt me somehow. I was glad she told me because I think I was able to put her mind at ease about those things & that she was so strong for not acting on her thoughts. She battled so hard. We had out issues later in life, but we’ve both been working to heal together. Anyway, I’m only sharing this to let you know that you are also so strong & I hope you aren’t holding any of that against yourself. 🫂

It has multiple causes (severe depression of all sorts is one cause), but the French call it "l'appel du vide". In English, it translates roughly as Call of the Void. Most commonly, it's things like standing at the edge of a cliff, and you get a thought like "jump. It's easy. 1 foot, then the other". But other cases can be things like "it'd be so easy to take this knife and stab this person". So yes, it is terrifying. But please know that you're not alone.

There's one i really like about a little girl faking to hear a monster every night for attention, but her parents never seem to get tired of checking every inch of her room. Eventually, one day she bursts out laughing as her parents enter the room, they obviously asked her what she was laughing about and she said "at you! You always believe me!". The parents don't get mad, they just stare at each other and her dad says "we didn't believe your brother for just one night" And the little girl, who had always been an only child, didn't sleep well that night. I love how you're left to wonder if the brother actually existed or if the parents just wanted to scare their daughter straight

44 days of hell. Its a story about an asian woman walking from school to home and is harassed by some bullies. another man rescues her and takes her to her place. the next day they meet up. what she didnt know is that she would be continuously tortured for 44 days with no end. She was laid out in the snow for days, R@p3d, Starved, Whipped, And much more. And the worst part is that it was all planned. Edit: Thanks for the likes, yall. her name was junko furuta, and the bullies and the nice man were all part of it

Her name is Junko Furuta, she was a Japanese student. May God rest her soul. However, the scariest part is not the heinous torture she endured at the hands of these monsters, who were her age, they were literally children, no, the worst part was that the Japanese judicidal system protected these monsters simply because they were minors, they protected them so much to the point of giving them new identities to live the remainder of their lives. The Japanese government still defends these monsters to this day and justice has not been served.

The clown statue story is that one story where a babysitter is watching kids, puts them to bed, and then watches TV. The clown statue in the corner of the room starts to creep the babysitter out, so she calls the parents to complain about it. The parents say to call 9-1-1 because they don’t have a clown statue. Good scary story on the first read, but it gets annoying when people post it all the time, over and over again.

The scariest story I have ever heard; a little boy is excited because his mother is pregnant, and he can't wait to meet his sister. He goes as far as separating his toys for him and his sister, tagging them with her name. When the baby is born the little boy loves her more than life itself. However, the baby girl has terrible colic and cries non-stop, day in, day out. Mum and dad are exhausted and stress. One day the boy comes home from school to find that the baby is gone. Not only her but the cot, all her clothes, and even the toys he set aside for her with her name tagged on them. It's like there was never a baby there to begin with. When he asks his mum and dad where the baby is they sort of brush him off without telling him. He keeps asking to the point his parents get angry at him. The boy finds one toy of hers the parents missed and keeps it hidden as a token. However, the dad finds it, and actually slaps the boy for keeping it before throwing it away. Years later the boy sees a little girl on a foster care poster and swears it's his sister but the mum brushes it off. The boy grows up into a man and his parents deny there ever was a baby. But he laments how he will always miss his little sister. Not scary in the ghostly chilling way but scary in the mystery and the nature of humanity. It's just one that has stuck with me for so long.

    @littlepip4014

The story is called "we don't talk about Sarah" and it isn't a foster care poster, he sees a missing persons poster with Sarah's face on it but with a different name while at the post office with his mother. She tells him it's not Sarah and gets out of there fast. At home, the father goes on a rampage but the mother screams at him that he can't hurt the boy. It's heavily implied (just doesn't outright say) that Sarah was not an infant but was kidnapped and abused by the boy's mother and father. She cries, bangs on the window to be let out, is locked in "mommy and daddy's room at night" for the first few months, is locked in the basement so the neighbors wouldn't hear her crying and complain, sleeps in a bed with bars (like the boy did) so she can't escape, etc., etc. And she doesn't die, she takes her life. So, the parents make the boy throw away everything related to her, but he manages to save a few of the name tags he made for their toys. The child telling the story never actually says that Sarah is a baby or that she slept in a crib. Great story though!

There was a true story of a guy who couldn't shake the feeling that he had a sister (twin or slightly younger). Eventually he grows up and his older sister/brother explains that they did have a sister, but nobody knew what happened to her. Turns out the mother murdered the girl as a toddler, and it went unnoticed because she was killed before she would have started school, and her body was kept at the house, in a closet.

This is the story of how I told my dad his phone was ringing: So, my sister had a school dance and my mom went with her, me and my dad stayed home. I had recently gotten into a KZread series called Crypt Fairy-tales (they take classic fairy-tales and put a special dark twist on them) so I was basically binging that all night. I get up and leave my room to get a snack, once I get into the living room I find it to be dark and completely empty, I walk into the kitchen and turn the light on (I don't care if the whole place is lit, just that I have some light so that I can see) the kitchen is empty as well, I then think to myself "Where the heck is Dad?" before I get my snack I look to see if any of the bathroom doors are closed, maybe he was in the bathroom...the bathroom doors were open and no one was inside, the lights were off as well. I then see if he's in his and my mom's room...he wasn't, the lights were off in that room as well. For some reason I just think "Oh, he probably decided to go with my sister to her school dance after all, okay then, guess I have the whole house to myself...a little strange he didn't tell me before he left though" and I walk back to the kitchen to get my snack. Once I'm in the kitchen and looking through the fridge, I suddenly hear a little girl laughing...it sounded like she was in the house and in the living room...the room closest to the kitchen...but then after listening to the laugh for a few seconds, I realize something "Wait a minute...that's my sister's laugh from when she was 5" My dad had set his ringtone as my sister's laugh a while back (just cause he thought it was cute and it made him happy to hear her laughing, normal parent stuff) I walk into the living room and find my dad's phone, someone was calling him. I thought "Wait, if Dad had left...why would he leave his phone behind?" It was then at that moment when I remembered that my dad likes to work with guitars and other stuff in the garage, I take his phone with me, open the garage door and there he is...I had completely creeped myself out for no reason. We then had this short conversation... Me: Hey Dad... Dad: Yeah? Me: Your phone is ringing...*hands over phone*

Ok so I know this sounds a tad bit silly, but this was the scariest thing I’ve encountered as a kid. I was playing at a friend’s house when I was probably like 10 or so, and I kept hearing a slow breathing sound through the house. I looked everywhere for the noise but couldn’t find the source. It almost sounded like it was behind me… Hours before I was playing hide and seek with my friend and recorded myself breathing as a red-herring. I put the sound on a loop on a phone and set it in a closet. Several hours later she snuck the phone into my hoodie I was wearing. Scared me half to death.

oh boy I got one, here it goes. Late 2015, November or December, don't recall which of 2. But I was coming back home from school, with a friend, we were just chatting about some random shit, like upcoming exams and such. Out of nowhere he kneels and starts crying, holding his chest, he told me with between breaths that his chest hurt bad. I didn't think anything too serious about it. But he told me to call an ambulance so I did, at this point I started to get worried, after a while of being breathless and holding his chest he passes out. Ambulance arrived like 5 minutes later and they told me he didn't have a pulse, turns out he had a heart attack. I entered the ambulance with him while we were rushed to the hospital, and I don't recall too much about the ride to the hospital, I just remember sirens and the sounds of the doctors talking to each other, I remember seeing black shadows just out of sight, always at the edge of my vision. Shortly before we arrived at the hospital he was successfully resurrected. Turns out he had a mix of lack of sleep and too much energy drinks and his hear just stopped. The scary part to this was the ride in the ambulance, because it was such a surreal moment to me, today I know what that was just tunnel vision. But back then it sacred the shit out of me. I figured out what it was a few years down the line, when I was enlisted I got the same shit while in a combat simulation. I got a injury in my leg so I was never deployed, I was allowed to serve still in the armory I worked at. Not that scary to others but to me it was really scary.

A story about a girl whose mother was attacked one night and after that, never talked to the girl again. She never told anyone who attacked her. She was a single mother. The mother would lose motivation to literally do anything. She would just sit on her chair in her bedroom facing the closet, staring at it. The girl would always wake up to her yelling, screaming words that don't make sense. And whenever the girl would come to her room to check what's going on, the mother would still be sitting on her chair unwilling to speak to her. Always with new scratch marks on her face, arms and body as she would hurt herself when the girl was asleep. One time, the girl had enough. She called 911 and got her an ambulance. Turns out, the reason her mother didn't talk to her was because her tongue was cut off.

The green face one at the end was scary because I grew up in what I would call a haunted house. As I got older stuff started to slack off and I could almost brush it off as an overactive imagination if it wasn’t for this one story: my mom successfully potty trained me by about 3 1/2 years old But even then I would always have her sit with me in the bathroom. I would pull my pants down and do my business flush and wipe and leave all on my own so one day she asked me why I wanted her to be there with me. I told her that when she wasn’t in there I always heard a baby crying from the bathroom closet where the water heater was. a bunch of other weird stuff happening in that house but my mom and dad don’t believe in such things so I wasn’t really surprised when they brushed it off. My mom and dad got divorced when I was 16 but we moved back to the same area when I was 19. For sentimental reasons I decided to check out the old place. Turns out somebody had recently moved in maybe a couple months ago and being an outgoing person and also secretly hoping to get a glimpse of the inside of the house, I just had to go say hi. His name is AJ and I ended up becoming pretty good friends with him. One day around Halloween I was over at the house and it was pretty late so I started fooling around telling scary stories. All of them true stories that had happened to me at that same house. He’s a pretty skeptical and logical guy so he’s not buying any of them Until I break out the baby story. I told him, “yeah and when I was little I could never go to the bathroom alone because if no one was in there with me I would always hear a…“ And then I absolutely freaked out when he said, “please don’t say you heard a baby crying“ I tell him yes that’s exactly how it was and I asked him how he knew about the baby. My parents don’t believe in ghosts and they think anyone who talks about them is a loony tune so they wouldn’t have spread the story and even if they had we really don’t have any mutual friends between us. He tells me his five year old daughter Adriana has been having problems going to the bathroom by herself ever since they moved to this house. She was completely potty trained and doing just fine for at least a year at the old house so he just assumed the move was stressing her out or whatever But when he finally asked her she told him that when she went to the bathroom alone she heard a baby crying. When I confirmed it was a baby crying he kind of thought he just suggested that answer into my head. Like maybe I could tell how panicked he was and just went with it so he asked me where I always heard the baby and I told him it was in the closet where the water heater was. Apparently that closet wasn’t there anymore. They had done a lot of remodeling to the house in the water heater was moved into the hall so I walked him back there and pointed to the corner of the room And he absolutely lost his shit. That story went from one of the least creepy almost forgotten memories of my childhood to the scariest thing that happened to me there and all because it has happened to someone else to and I can’t just brush it off as my imagination anymore. I mean I can and I do, but still… Creepy… so much stuff happened in that house that if I told all the stories it would seem fake. I want to look up the history of that place but not bad enough to actually do it if that makes sense.

So, this story was told at a fifth-grade camp to me and a bunch of other fifth graders. At a fifth-grade camp, there was a boy named Franklin. He was a kind boy if a bit shy and awkward. He didn't like being at the camp, mainly due to three boys named Adam, Chris, and Brian. These three would frequently harass him. The only thing that kept Franklin from feeling down the whole time was his grandmother, Fran, who was the head cafeteria lady at the camp. One day, Franklin decides to go and do the horseback riding activity. But unfortunately, Adam, Chris, and Brian decide to mess with him again. They had done horseback riding before and recognized the trail. So they headed down the trail and hid in the bushes. Their plan was to wait for Franklin to get close and then jump out and scare him. So they wait for a bit, and Franklin comes riding down the trail. Once he gets close, the three jump out and yell. However, this didn't scare Franklin. Instead, it scared the horse. The horse bolts down the trail; no matter how hard he tries, Franklin can't get it to stop. Suddenly, the horse jumps off a steep drop, and they both fall down. The three boys ran over to see if Franklin was ok, but all they could see was the horse lying on the ground, not moving. They bolt back to the camp and tell the counselors what happened. The counselors ran to the site and managed to move the horse. Unfortunately, Franklin was underneath the horse and was already dead. The counselors were heartbroken. They knew that they had to tell his grandmother. So, the head counselor goes to the cafeteria and finds Fran chopping vegetables. He tells her that something had happened, and she gets a little tense but keeps chopping the vegetables. He then tells her that one of the campers had died. She starts freaking out a little and saying it couldn't be Franklin; all the while, she starts chopping the vegetables faster and faster. The counselor then grabs her and hugs her. She starts crying and runs out of the building. Everyone leaves her be as they think that she needs to be alone. The next morning, a counselor tells the boys in his cabin to get up and ready. They all do, except Brian. The counselor calls out his name, but Brian doesn't respond. He then walks over to Brian and shakes him a little, but he still doesn't respond. So the counselor opens the sleeping bag, only to find blood everywhere inside and Brian's body with stab marks. He gets the other boys out of the cabin and gets the other counselors to come. They all see the horrific scene and almost begin panicking. They all question how Brian was killed since the counselor who discovered it was in that same cabin that night and his bed was next to the door. One of the cafeteria workers comes down and tells them that Fran was nowhere to be found and one of the knives was missing. It was immediately made clear what happened: Fran stole one of the knives and somehow snuck into the cabin that night and killed Brian while everyone was asleep. All the staff began calling the police and parents, but the camp was hours away from town, and they couldn't arrive until the following day. So, that night, all the students were moved into two different cabins, and the counselors kept watch. While on patrol, one of the counselors hears something, and when he turned toward the direction of the sound, he spots Fran running around in the woods. He yells for the other counselors that he spotted Fran. Most of the counselors bolt into the woods after her. However, Fran had already snuck into the boy's cabin. She walks up to Adam. She opens his sleeping bag. She raises the knife in her hand. That's where the story ended. I had to make up a few things since I only heard this story once, over 15 years ago, but this was how the story went down. I have no idea why a bunch of teachers (our teachers were our counselors) thought that this was a good story to tell a bunch of fifth graders.

Okay, I have a scary story to share, and this is true because I was the one who experienced it. So, back when I was 14 years old. There was some times where I would wake up in the middle of the night, around 2-3 o'clock PM, for no reason. But whenever this happens, I always get that feeling like someone is watching me or have a sudden feeling of nervousness, I would just lie in there staring at the ceiling. This happened to me for a week. Then one night, again I woke up with the same feeling like being watched. Again I watched the ceiling until I felt the urge to go to the bathroom. I was about to get out of the bed but something caught my attention in the hallway (bear in mind, my room doesn't have a door just an entrance😅), and I kid you not I saw a very black skinned entity with a long messy hair, pair of red eyes that is looking straight into me, grinning while his saliva dripping down his mouth. I was stunned as I stare back at the entity. After a minute, the entity backed out while still staring at me. The moment it disappeared I immediately lie in bed, grabbed my blanket, hid, and closed my eyes until I fell asleep. The next morning, we found out that a burglar breaks into our house and some of our things were stolen. After a month or so, I told thr story of the entity to my family, and it turns out my two sisters also saw what I saw the same night. (sorry for my crappy story telling, english is not my first language😅)

Idc how many times it's been told. The fact that Karl Tanzler removed his beloved's 2-years-dead body from her casket, carried it home, sewed it back together, and "married" it, then spent the next 7 years meticulously working to keep said body together and stave off further decomposition so he could engage in necr0philia...sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and am jolted awake because that thought pops into my head for no reason.

The most horrific story I’ve heard was called “The green ribbon”. It goes like this; “Once there was a girl named Jenny. Jenny was just like other girls, except she always wore a green ribbon around her neck. She was friends with a classmate, Alfred. Alfred liked Jenny. Jenny liked Alfred. One day, Alfred asked Jenny, ‘Jenny, why do you always wear a green ribbon around your neck?’ ‘Oh, Alfred…I cannot tell you.’ Jenny replied. Years later, Jenny and Alfred got married. ‘Jenny,’ said Alfred. ‘Now that we have married, you must tell me about the green ribbon!’ ‘I still cannot tell you!’ Said Jenny. ‘I will tell you when it is the right time.’ As time passed on, Alfred and Jenny grew old, and Jenny grew very sick. ‘Jenny, I am afraid you are dying.’ Said the doctor. Jenny called Alfred to her side. ‘Alfred,’ said Jenny. ‘I can now tell you about the green ribbon. Take the ribbon of of my neck, and you will see.’ Slowly, and carefully, Alfred untied the ribbon from her neck… *and Jenny’s head fell off* “

I read a story very similar to this called “The Red Ribbon” in a Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark book. This man falls in love with a beautiful woman, but she always wears a red ribbon around her neck. They get married, and as a wedding present he buys her a beautiful Pearl necklace, thinking it will replace the red ribbon. She however is very sad about the sweet gift, and tells her husband she can’t wear the Pearl necklace. She won’t tell her husband why, but he already knows. The red ribbon. So eventually he gets bitter about the ribbon and decides to take it off himself. Throw in some offhand comments about how she never ever takes it off, and one night before bed he hides a pair of scissors under his pillow. When his wife is asleep, he carefully cuts the ribbon. Then she sits up, but her head doesn’t come with her. Maybe someone else copied before you but that’s the version I know.

Story 10, the one you said sounds like something that could really happen, is actually a true story. Mark was a victim of a serial killer in the early 1970s named Dean Corll who lured teenagers to his house where he drugged and killed them. He was also nicknamed the Candy Man because his family owned a candy factory and he apparently gave free candy to neighborhood children, this nickname subsequently inspired the song "The Candy Man" and the horror movie Candyman (and the recent remake/sequel)

The Candyman movie actually has nothing to do with the Corll case. It's based on a short story by Clive Barker called "The Forbidden", and has to do with the ghost of a black man who was killed for being in a relationship with a white woman. There is a film, " Freak Out", which is loosely based on the case, though.

I know it sounds stupid, and I know saying something from a Five Nights at Freddys book freaked me out makes me sound childish, but it genuinely made my stomach turn. It is the third story from Tales from the Pizzaple: Somniphobia, Cleithrophobia. Basically this guy is a technician who has cleithrophobia due to an experience he had when he was five. So basically, he gets dragged through these tubes by a robot who is designed to help people who are stuck, but the part that freaks me out is the description of the absolute horror this guy went through. Her (the robots) grip breaks his fingers, then his forearms, then his upper arms. He just starts falling apart. His ribs get like, popped off, and his legs are barely attached. When the robot is grabbing onto his upper arm, she accidentally gouges his eye out. He’s hoping he will pass out because of the unimaginably gruesome pain, but he doesn’t. Some employees he works with come back to work after leaving for the night, and find him. He is stretched to a least twice his original height in the tubes and is completely mangled. All his bones had pierced through his skin when they had been broken, and his uniform is saturated with blood. The robot is holding his eyeball. The worst part? He was conscious as he saw the employees he considered his friends left him to die, all the while the robot is continuing to drag him through the tubes, causing him to become even more mangled. His face is incapable of expression because it had been smashed so much. The employees eventually just leave. Even though they knew he was dying the worst death imaginable, they would rather that than getting in trouble for heaving him there alone. He would be a huge liability to Fazbear Entertainment. He was conscious the whole time and saw them leave. This story made me sick for some reason, and I have heard of the most disturbing, gruesome murder cases, and watched plenty of movies that include mutilation and dismemberment, and those don’t scare me. This? I don’t know what it is, but it is awful. I thought the second story in that book was gross, but this one just really got to me. That description doesn’t go into nearly as much depth as the actual story, and I think that even if you don’t like or enjoy Five Nights at Freddy’s, horror and body horror fans would enjoy it. (This had me wondering if Scott Cawthon was ok while writing this… but I think this is my favorite story from any of the books!)

This was a story I heard from an old Railroad engineer that I am friends with. One day they were doing a midnight goods train with four other people when their train got diverted onto another line due to the fog and some old, rusty points. Once they realized what had happened they stopped and radioed into the control what had happened, and since a passenger train was coming through soon and they were worried about switching the points back to their line after switching the passenger train, they decided it was best to stay there for the night. They were in an old rail yard with rusty trucks scattered about and large burn marks and destroyed rails in one of the sidings. With what looked to be the foundation of an old factory nearby. They decided to head to sleep but he later woke up to the sounds of static coming from the radio, and a loud, trumpet-like groan from outside the engines. Suddenly the radio was filled with chatter, alot of it was hard to figure out but he did say it sounded something like "coal is too hot" and "emergency! Emergency! Clear the area immediately!" The burnt ground nearby seemed almost to glow as screams came from the radio, the loud groaning getting louder and louder, causing the engine's windows to vibrate. They soon turned on the lights to see something written on a nearby truck in some kinda ashy, bloody paint that they hadn't noticed earlier because of the fog that had cleared up by then. And it said "Death comes for all, Run, Run, Run" they immediately threw the engines into reverse and shot back down the old line, screeching to a stop before the old points. The groaning had disappeared...and they still don't know what any of that was till this day

The scariest story I've ever heard is about the whistler. I was sleeping over at a friend's house and since I was having trouble sleeping I thought to turn on a podcast and the one I happened to find first was Scared to Death where two people exchanged horror stories. I was sleeping in the finished basement where I was in full view of several long windows, and I already had issues with being watched. So the story begins: This woman moves into her new home, buying it from some Venezuelan couple who just returned from a vacation from there. Her and her old, retired police dog start taking walks. Once, she hears whistling, echoing in her head like it was the only sound ever, she starts to freak out a little bit, but if the retired police dog isn't bothered, she shouldn't be either. She keeps walking though her skin is crawling with the feeling that something is wrong. The whistling becomes more and more distant and soon she can barely hear it, like a fly buzzing somewhere in the room with her. She felt something across her face like maybe she'd walked into a spider web as her dog started to bark. Soon the whistling stops and she can't feel the spider web thing anymore. She returns home, freaked out, and nothing happens for the rest of the night. But the next night, when she saw her neighbour outside with a campfire and his girlfriend. But she doesn't really care, they aren't being so loud so it doesn't matter. There was a shriek and she looks over, the firepit had fallen and the girlfriend was on fire, soon an ambulance had arrived, and the girlfriend would of course be sent to the hospital. The neighbour was freaked out, and he told her about it: there was a whispering that started very closely, then slowly distanced, like the guy who was whistling kept walking away from them. Soon his girlfriend shouted because she felt a hand across her face, scratching her. Soon, she decided to look up whatever the hell that thing was. It was a piece of Venezuelan horror story, and it describes what she experienced. But it usually results in the person dying (i think it has been a while and I cant remember), unless there was a dog barking near by. She couldn't afford to move again in the same few months, so she stayed, keeping her dog with her whenever she went outside. She partly believed that maybe this was happening because of something the old owners did, and thats why they were in such a hurry to sell the place. Soon she saved up enough and managed to sell the place, and got the hell out of there. If I missed any details of the story and anyone is willing to fill them in, that'd be great but for the most part this was the story that freaked me out way too much :D

Suddenly, Isabella hears footsteps in the kitchen of her home. She texts her mother, like, "Are you home?" Her mother was still at the grocery store. She hears an unfamiliar voice. "HONEY, IM HOOME!" Isabella once again texted her mother, "Who's that?" She explained what she heard and her mother told her to hide. She followed this advice, and hid in the bathroom (which was right next to her room and had a proper lock on it.) "Isa, you can't hide from your mother." The crazy woman taps the bathroom door. A few hours later, A dead teenager is found in an old farmhouse. A woman who used to own the house is missing from the local mental hospital. (This story is not true.)

This is a story that often happened in Indonesian villages. A child named andy were about to go to a mosque for a night prayer. Unlike the other night were he go with his friends, that night andy go to the mosque late so his friends go first. Using his flashlight, andy walk through the corn field to go to the mosque and passing a coconut tree. He then light the tree to see if there is coconut fruit on that tree, and yes there is a coconut on that tree "What a weird coconut" says andy. That's because unlike the usual coconut fruit, this coconut have color very dark and there is something that looks like coconut hair hanging on that coconut "Maybe there is squirel that cewing on the coconut skin" andy thought. Andy then continue his journey to the mosque. Unlike when he go to the mosque alone, after finishing his prayer, this time andy go home with his friends. When he about to reach that coconut tree he saw at the begining, he told his friends that he saw a very weird coconut fruit that had been skinned and showing all the hairy stuff inside the coconut. His friend curious and ask him to show the tree. "That's the tree!" Said andy. He then light the tree using his flashlight trying to spot the fruit. But it's not there "Maybe the fruit had falling down" said his friend Using their flashlight, andy and his friend then searching the ground to see if there is a coconut laying on the ground. One of andy's friend found the coconut. But when he's about to pick the fruit, he run as fast as he can, in which andy and his other friend following him asking what was he found. He then told andy and the other that it's not coconut fruit that hanging on the tree. That dark colored hairy coconut is actually a ghost in the form of human head. In Indonesia, when someome out on a night to search for some cricket, there is a rule that they must follow. Do not search for cricket if that cricked sound coming from a bush. Why? Because it's possible that the sound didn't come from a cricket, but from a ghost in a form of human head. And if you found a weird stuff hanging on a tree whole hunting cricket, run as fast as you can. That's probably a ghost

I've taken comfort from a fact others find disturbing: There used to be at least 3 other types of human, relations roughly as close to us as Neanderthals were. They are extinct now, we are not. Presumably this is the uncanny valley's origin, that as a species were their enemies (literally genocidal threats to them) and so presumably they would be as violent on encountering us as we were to them. But we won out in the end. So on the upside, the uncanny valley isn't because something human like was praying on humans. The downside of course, is that presumably those subspecies developed the same instinctual fear of us, we were just the side that won the genocide olympics.

PTSD is scary. I do not recommend it. It’s crazy because you’d think that flashbacks would be more likely when triggered by something related to the initiating incident. Nope. Every time the mind wanders in the slightest, the tape just starts playing over whatever you’re really doing at the moment. I have to sing the entire time I am taking a shower and keep my watch nearby to avoid flashbacks. While I know none of it can “hurt me”, I also know that every jolt will mess with my ability to function for a day or more. TL;DR PTSD sucks. Can confirm 👍🏻

the story i heard from my grandma in mexico scared me shitless. i have heard it other places too so i assume it’s just an urban legend. there once was a lady who was a devout christian. she and her husband would go every sunday to church. after sunday service she would often cook for the congregation. tamales, arroz, sopa, she would cook it all. but her most beloved dish that she would make was pozole. everybody in the congregation agreed hers was the best in town. she was loved by the community so much. so it was a terrible tragedy when she died. the entire congregation mourned her death for a week. then at sunday service the lady’s husband cooked in honor of his dead wife. he made pozole. after he served everyone their bowls of pozole and everyone was sat, he gave a mini speech about how his wife devotion was to the church and to cooking. he then said take this as her final offering to us all and she will live on in us forever. he finished his speech and everyone began eating. many people noted that it tasted different than the wife’s pozole. not bad. just different. everyone was enjoying their bowls until a teenaged aged girl bit into a tough piece of meat. she couldn’t bite all the way through her first time biting into it so she tried again. and again she couldn’t bite through it. so she pulled it out and inspected the meat. she screamed loud and threw what she now recognized as a finger on the table. everybody at the table looked in shock and started screaming as well. some threw up and some came at the man asking what was going on. all he did was repeat what he said earlier. take this as her final offering to us all and she will live in in us forever. it was later confirmed that he had dismembered her dead body and used her as the main ingredient in his pozole. her blood was mixed with the broth, her body was chopped into pieces and cooked.

Scariest story I ever heard on Reddit was of a man who wore noice cancelling headphones while he played video games. One day he removed them to hear his wife and young daughter screaming. He went downstairs and found a man SAing his wife as his daughter watched. They had been screaming for something like ten minutes and he hadnt heard them. The story claimed to be true but I hope it isn’t. It’s always stuck with me since.

The one that occasionally keeps me up at night is more of a hypothetical scenario than anything traditionally "scary", and it's been years since I heard it, but it basically went like this: You wake up in an empty room, walls, floor, and ceiling made of solid stone, and a single open entrance leading to a hallway, of which soon ends at a T-junction, left and right, but more than that, you see a journal on the floor and after quickly opening it up, you read the the owner of the journal had no idea where they were, but guessed it was some sort of maze and is going to write every way they go in hopes to find the way out, only to find but one single entry, saying they took the left path

I have not had many scary experiences but this one is relatively short and sort of explainable. I worked security alone for a big Target, and on one slow day came back from meal break to check cameras. I looked at the electronics counter camera, which was positioned at an angle where you could see both above the counter and to the wall of tvs behind it. While I was looking at that camera, I saw myself, and this happening normally, as I skipped around in footage a lot to get screenshots of people for police reports, I saw myself walking past the screen, staring directly at the camera. So I went to switch it to live only to see that it was LIVE. Reality crumbled. I went to skip back and the program, Genetec, crashed. I restarted it to find no one. So I went to that location to ask if they had seen anyone who looks like me. They were facing the direction the doppelganger was walking, and said no one had been in the area for at least 20 minutes. Still not sure what happened.

Yeeepp!!! I have a story. When I was younger, I'd sleep alone on my own room with the lights on, ALWAYS. At the time, my mom lived with my Grandmother and my aunt and her kids were with us, so it was a full house. One night, I fell asleep, then woke up to the lights off, turns out, the electricity went out and it was pitch black. My grandma and aunt her kids weren't in the house, they went out that night leaving just me and my mom, so it was pretty quiet. I tried going back to bed regardless, but in contrast to the dark silence, I heard heavy, eerie footsteps by my room entrance. The door was open, but it never actually came in, it just paused. Before I knew it, there was a strange knocking sound of what seemed like a metal fork or spoon tapping against a ceramic mug. It made the tapping sound 3 times by the door. I called out in hopes that my mom would answer, but nobody did. It was silent... Then I heard those heavy footsteps again, walking back before fading... I was scared, also wondering if someone in the house was just toying with me. I somehow eventually went back to sleep.. I woke up the next morning to mom, grandma and my aunt around hall table. I told them about what happened and ask if they were trying to scare me last night. They gave each other a strange look before turning back at me. Turns out, mom too ended up leaving the house that night and didn't bother to bring me along because I was already asleep.. So.. I was alone in the house the entire night. THEN WHO THE HELL WAS BY THE ROOM DOOR???????? I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP! To this day, it's still bizarre!!

This reminds me of a video posted by someone named Mr. Ballen, I forgot the name of the video, where a girl was picking bark off of a tree, when an unkempt man ran out of a van and started pinching her. While he was pinching her, she was in a trance-like state. The man started saying to her: “How would you like it if someone tore off your skin, how would you like it if someone tore off your skin?” The girl was called into her neighbor’s house and the man ran off or was caught or something, I forget. Anyway, I don’t remember where he went, he’s out of the story. The police went into the van the man came out of and found pictures of the girl lining the interior of the van. Eventually, the police find the man’s storage unit. In the storage unit, they found more pictures of the girl, a dentist chair in the middle of the room, knives, pliers, and screwdrivers. The girl was never told of this until she found her own daughter picking the bark off of a tree. Edit: the video is just called “the pinching man”

The scariest thing ever happened in hindsight, my grandfather had died several years before i had a stomache operation, invasive procedure so i was put under, when i woke up i vividly remember calling my little brother (16 at that time) to tell him i “didnt even feel that weird” and “would rest a little more and call him after that”. I had put down my phone and had a look around the room, there were 2 women, 1 had also just woken up, the second was still asleep, thirdly there was an elderly man. When i sat up a little to ask the woman how it went the elderly man called my name, i had responded and asked him how he knew. He had jokingly said “because it states so on your bed”. Our beds were about 10 meters apart, the name tag is about 10cm big.. i told him i found that weird as he was hooked up to multiple machines and couldnt have walked over to me. The woman then asks me who im talking to, i replied i was talking to the elderly man and pointed over. There wasnt anyone there. Whats weirder is when i finally could stand up again and checked out the bed it had clear rimples in the blanket, as if someone had laid on top of it. The name tag which is usually empty also stated “boy” which was my grandfathers name. I chalk it up to me seeing things from the medication, what was however funny, was that when i told my little brother about it, he told me he had had the exact same thing when his tonsils got removed the year before, minus the name tag. We are also sure the man we saw wasnt the same man, and neither man we saw was our grandfather. Both had said our name and asked if we were doing well. Not necessarily scary or creepy, just really particular.

The first time I remember I was about 6 and it was always in the corner where two walls join with the ceiling. The few times I've seen it as an adult it was always in the woods at night and a few times from my window. This is a true story, something that happened to me when I was younger. I was in my room sleeping, and woke up out of completely nowhere. The house was completely silent for several minutes, so I rolled over and started to go back to sleep. Just as I was beginning to drift off, I heard knocking that unmistakably was coming from the direction of one of the windows in my bedroom. The room has two windows, one that points toward the driveway and the other that sits on an “L” from the first that points to the house’s main door and the porch. The knock came from the porch window. I lay there in bed, half-asleep and startled as my probably 6-8 year old self tried to figure out who the heck was at my window. Funny detail is that at first I thought it was Peter Pan, though I was still hella freaked out by the noise. So I get out of bed, walk to the middle of my room and stand there. I figure if the knocking continues I’ll decide what to do, I figure maybe I was dreaming. The knocking comes again, startling me. Just three quick raps on the window, like someone outside is trying to get my attention. Then I start to wake up more and more, the gears in my little head begin whirring and turning. I vividly remember thinking, “Wait, if that’s Peter Pan.. where’s Tinkerbell?! I would be able to see her light through the blinds!” And that’s when I realized I didn’t see ANY light. See, my house’s porch has a light that usually turns on when someone gets near the porch. Usually it turned on when my dad came home from work at like 1AM. I used to wake up around the time he came home because knowing he was in the house made me feel more safe. I reasoned that if it WERE my dad, he wouldn’t be knocking on my bedroom window at goodness knows what time of night. I know he wouldn’t want to frighten me. By this point I’m still frozen in the middle of my room, now panicking that someone is trying to break into the house. Maybe they were tapping to see if lights would go on and were trying to check if someone was home. I reason that if the knocking keeps happening or I hear any other weird noises, I’ll run upstairs and wake my mother so we can call the police. But the knocking has stopped. The house is completely silent again save for its usual night noises. I don’t know how long I waited, but the suspense was absolutely killing me. I was almost to the point of crying with how scared I was. So I figured the main door was still locked, and I could safely peek out the window to check if someone was standing there. Worst case I would scream at the top of my lungs and run to get my mom. (8-year old logic, amirite?) So I creep over to the window, bracing to see some tall dark creepy dude staring in at me and smiling because he knew I would do it all along… But there’s nothing. Nothing outside my window besides the big wooden flower box underneath it. Which someone would have had to either be standing inside or leaning over to reach the window. (Mind you, I was pretty short, so EVERYTHING was bigger than me.) Still not satisfied, and now a little more confused than scared; I wonder if maybe the burglar (which is what I classified the source of the noise as at the time.) had gone around the corner of the porch to the sliding glass door. I know it’s locked too and can’t be broken easily, but I can’t stop myself from going to check. So I creep out, around the corner, and into the house’s kitchen. When I peek around the table and toward the door, once more I see nothing. Nobody from inside the main door either. Now over my scare, I sink back into my fantasy about Peter Pan again and go back to my bed to sleep. I remember telling my mom about the encounter the next morning and phrasing it as “I think Peter Pan came to visit me last night! But I didn’t get to see him..” At first she thought it was cute, until I told her about the knocking. Now I realize why she was so alarmed. The thing that still freaks me out is trying to understand what the hell was making that noise. I know I heard two sets of knocks, but nothing else that I could discern. Why the hell would someone be knocking on a closed window with shut blinds besides trying to gauge if someone was home?? All I know is that I get the distinct feeling, even thinking about it now.. that whatever was making that noise was trying to get my attention. I’m very glad I didn’t answer. TL;DR: I heard creepy knocking on my window, didn’t answer it, and scared my mom. Glad I didn’t answer it. I don’t think it was Peter Pan.

As a kid I was freaked out by the story, Harold, in one of the “Scary Stories to tell in the Dark” books (The movie kinda sucked). I’m not a good writer and I haven’t read it for years so I may be remembering parts wrong but here’s what I remember: It begins on a farm where these two men, Tony and Able (I think) worked long, slow days in the field and tend to their cattle amongst other chores. One hot and particularly boring summer day in the fields, Tony and Able decide to make a lifelike scarecrow for fun and to pass the time. Using old sacks and straw, they made a lifelike doll and made it have the same appearance of a neighbor who they particularly hated, and hence named the doll Harold. Every morning, Tony and Able carried Harold out to the field and hung him on a stake, and every evening brought him back into the barn. On the slow summer days, when they were around Harold, they would talk to it, sometimes just simple conversations where either Tony or Able would respond imitating the real Harold’s voice. Other days, however, they would beat the scarecrow, hurtle obscenities and threats towards it, spat at it, smeared mud and bland food on it; Anything to take away their boredom, their anger, their frustration when things on the farm don’t go their way. After doing this for most of the summer, they thought that they heard it make noises and saw small movements out of the corner of their eyes. Tony and Able were spooked by this, but continued to do as they had, using Harold as a punching bag, screaming at it. At least, until it stood up on its own one morning, went to the roof of the barn and started pacing, and just standing in the middle of the pasture. The two men, scared, did nothing about it and pretended like it wasn’t happening before leaving the barn heading out towards a valley where their cattle were. Relief washed over them as they left, but it was short lived. They had forgotten to bring tools to expensive to buy more and had to go back to the barn to get them. Dreading going back, they decided to draw straws to determine who should go back. It was Tony who drew the shorter straw and parted with Able to get the tools from the barn. Able made it to the pasture and got to working on what he could without the tools, finishing before Tony returned. Able made his way up a hill to see where Tony was. He couldn’t see him anywhere along the path, but then noticed something on the roof. Able watched as Harold kneeled down, stretching out a bloody skin to dry in the sun.

I have two that are legit terrifying to me. They first creepypasta was Tommy Taffy. Basically, we follow Mat and how he, his parents, and his little sister lived together up until Mat turned 6 I think and his sis must have been like 4. On that day the family was sitting down to have dinner when they get a knock at the door. The dad got up to see who it was but turned white when he looking through the peep hole. He turns to the mom, apologizes, and opens the door. There is a man with blonde hair, white skin and a bright shirt reading “Hello!” His hair didn’t move and was stiff, his skin has smooth like plastic with no pores and his teeth were just two smooth pieces of plastic. The mom starts screaming that he cannot be there and the dad tells her that they have to be nice to their guest. They have him met the kids and he is sickenly *nice*. Then as the little girl is practicing ballet, Tommy tries to help her with her form, putting his hands in her arms and hips to guide her. The mom loses it and starts scream to get him out and the dad doesn’t say anything. Tommy then takes her scrwaming by the hair down to the basement where they hear more screms. Tommy continues to terrify the family, and at some point even rapes the little girl while the boy and father hug outside hiding in the hallway. We then learn from the dad why he isn’t fighting back. Tommy Taffy first showed up in his childhood neighborhood where he and the mom grew up. They were are terrified and they all knew that Tommy taffy was in every house, but no one spoke of it. Ofc the parents tried to band together to get this to stop with mat’s dad’s dad (mat’s grandpa) at the for front. They shit, beat, and burned the bastard to a crisp, but the next day he came back, beat the grandpa, and shoved a broomstick up his ass, going out through his head. No one dared fight Tommy after that. So we follow all the shit that Tommy puts mat and his sister through as the adults can just stand and watch. Miraculously, they all survive and in mat’s 11th birthday, he leaves. However, mats sister was too young to remember Tommy and so no one told her about him to save her the pain. That was until she got pregnant with twins. They hoped it’d be fine, but May got a call from his sister in a frenzy b4 Tommy picked up to invite him for dinner saying he “wanted to be early this time”. May rushes over and sees the sister’s husband dead in the table and Tommy cradling the twins and his sister catatonic and frantic. Tommy hands a twin to the sister and keeps the other, so when May threats him he dangles the baby over the dish washer with the grinding teeth turned on. This is when May realizes something. The keep struggling and May manages to beat him quite a bit and get the other twin with him to their nursery where his sister left the other twin sleeping b4 passing out helping mat. Here, mat says his prayers and apologies before he smothers both the twins to death. Tommy comes to him weak and angry, but May beats him like a porcelain doll. Again, he doesn’t tell his sister and just says that Tommy did it. The story should end here but there is a small epilogue I don’t feel like summarizing so if you wanna see that, look it up on yt there is an amazing narration online As for the other story, I don’t have the patience so unless someone asks, I am not bothering

There was a story here in the Philippines about a new teacher working late at her school. The school was an old wooden rural public school. She worked so late that she hadn't noticed the time, and it was already about 11:30 PM. Deciding that it was too late to head home, she put some tables together and tried to make a makeshift bed. A few moments later, she heard walking sounds coming from another room. The footsteps would stop and then pace again. She thought it must be the guard doing his rounds. Eventually, the noise became frantic, so she decided to peek through a hole that would allow her to see the other side. She lit a flashlight and directed it towards the hole since cellphones were still very expensive at that time. To her surprise, all she could see was a deep red and black color. She didn't think much of it and went to sleep. Around 5:00 AM, she was woken up by the guard, who sounded panicked and asked her why she was there. She explained what had happened, including the noise and the strange sight she had seen through the hole. The guard's face turned pale, and he then said, "Did you notice anything strange last night?" She told him about the noise and the hole with the black and red colors. The guard's expression grew even more serious as he spoke. He explained that the school building used to be a house for "Comfort Women" during the Japanese era. These women were subjected to constant rape by Japanese soldiers. One young lady, in particular, was described as beautiful and had long black hair. She was raped repeatedly until she finally snapped and killed one of the soldiers. As a punishment for her actions, she was beheaded in the room right next to where they were. The guard revealed that the description of the woman with long black hair, beauty, red eyes, and black irises matched the spirit that had been haunting the school. The same spirit she had seen peeping through the hole that night.

The goosebumps story with Ben and Jerry instantly reminded me of one of my favorite Lupin The Third episodes: Part 1, Episode 4: One Chance For A Prison Break. Seems dumb through most of it until Lupin pulls off basically a year-long version of the goosebumps story. Just replace the kids with Lupin and a Prison Guard and having a leg amputated with getting the chair.

I was at a summer camp once and one night, close to the end of the stay, all the counselors started banging pots and pans together. The staff all had tiki torches and masks, and we all had to wander to a giant fire, easily taller than the trees where the remaining 10 or so counselors were in even bigger, more dramatic masks, and dancing around said fire. Years later, I realized that when the fire "fell" onto someone, it was just one branch that fell onto the mud in front of them. I was grumpy af because they woke us up at midnight, but looking back, it would've been fun to put together.

ive been holding onto this one for a while, idk if anyone is gonna read this or even believe me. maybe it wont even be that scary to you but here it is. i remember once when i was home alone one time at night. i was just wandering around doing random stuff and at one point i went into my parent's room i saw a blanket just randomly laid on the bed clearly not meant to cover it. I remember thinking "i dont remember that being there" then i had this just. Awful feeling of dread, worse than anything ive ever felt before. I didnt know why. But i had this feeling that something was behind me. I felt like i was in some scary anime where something was behind me and getting closer. I turned around. Nothing there but the feeling didnt leave. it was like i felt presence in the room with me. I felt if I ran it would just chase me and im kinda slow so I knew I couldnt out run whatever it was. So i hoped to fool it instead. I calmly walked out of the room as tho I didnt think anything was wrong. I then went into my room, turned on the lights and locked the door. I was in a state of paranoia that I couldnt explain and didnt dare distract myself with my phone or turn off the lights not even for a second or look outside my door. I waited. I dont know how long it was but after a while I heard something at the door. It was the sound of breathing. Whatever it was, it was waiting at my door. I kept my witts about me and waited. it eventually left when the breathing stopped i didnt hear it go. I then decided to close my blinds as for some reason i feared that if we made eye contact it would some how teleport into the room. i waited for a long while and i finally heard my parents come through the door and left my room. i think i told them but they for reason shrugged it off. As we lived away from everyone else in farm land areas and any who lived near us was mostly friends or family. So they didnt think anyone came into our house. everything was fine after that but ever since then i had a mild bit of paranoia every time i entered a dark room. i eventually got over it but it took me a while.

Reminds me of a ear condition. this condition will cause you to hear a sound like breathing in one ear, this condition often leads to paranoia. I dont know what it is called but it tends to be reaccurent but happens very rarely. I believe it also induces paranoia because it makes you hear your own biological functions, but this only effects you subconsciously, initiating an amygala response.

The creepiest story I've read was actually an encounter for the Twilight:2000 tabletop RPG. It featured Koschei the Deathless, a ghost tank haunting Eastern Europe shortly after WWIII. Koschei appears at night as a grey T-55 with no markings. It shadows small groups of survivors who have at least one armoured vehicle among them. it shows up as cold on thermal imaging equipment. At dawn, Koschei is wrapped in mist and disappears, leaving only tracks in the ground. Koschei makes no aggressive moves, but its mere presence keep everyone from sleeping. Eventually, someone snaps and fires an anti-tank weapon at Koschei, then the tank returns fire. If destroyed, Koschei will burn until dawn, then disappear as a mist. The tank will then reappear at night and shadow the group for a few weeks, killing a random number of victims every night.

The rooster teeth incident is a pretty well known phenomenon in the rural parts of my home country. Not because of the supernatural stuff or anything but because it's humans. Basically some gangs would steal cars and intentionally wreck the old ones near the road. One or two people would then put fake blood on them and then position themselves on either middle of the road as in they weren't wearing seat belts and got thrown out of the car or would just sit down on the car looking like they need help. Sometimes one of them would even walk in front of passing cars with fake blood all over them and try to stop for help. The moment you stop to help them, you're effed. Within seconds you'll get 5-10 people jump out of the bushes with guns and machetes. They would then take everything you own, including your car and quickly drive away. The stolen cars would then be trafficked through the border where they can sell the car without facing any consequences. Sometimes, if the person doesn't have significant amount of cash with them, one or two of them will get in the car with the victim and drive to the nearest ATM. If all goes well and you're fortunate enough, they'll leave without harming you. I've heard stories of people, especially women who were not so fortunate.

2 stories: first, my mother used to babysit for a family. One day, she called to say she couldn't because she wasn't feeling well. That happened to be the day that the father came home and killed his whole family because he thought his wife was sleeping with my mom (she was 18 at the time). He's currently in prison. His final statement at trial? "When I get out, I'll finish what I started." My mom has been terrified of his release since then. Second: my mother married my step dad just after he joined the military. We moved across the country to the base he was stationed at. While my step dad was deployed, my mom had her bed in the living room. Her, myself, and the cats were all out on her bed watching a movie. We suddenly heard a rhythmic thumping down the hall. So I go to check. I saw my basketball bouncing like someone had been dribbling it. When I put it away, I had put it on the floor of my closet, behind a stack of books, and closed the door. We had multiple stories like that, but that one sticks out the most.

She was surrounded by a group of masked men, equipped with tools accessories that can be utilised in a manner of ways. After hooking her up on some drugs, making her weak and vulnerable, they plunged the tools into her body, ripping layers apart to reveal...a new entity. Anyway that's how my emergency c-section went.

This one still gives me chills. So I had the magic mesh, the magnetic screen door that you could walk through, on my doorway to my room. I got it to attempt to keep my cats out but they destroyed the bottom. Huge fail, so I ended up tying the bottoms in a knot to stop them from messing with it more. I kept the top half connected bc the magnets would make a distinct sound when they connected. I kept it like that so I could hear when someone was in my room. One morning I had woken up and rolled over to face my doorway, I had my eyes open. I saw what looked EXACTLY like my dad, instantly turning away from me and walking out of my room. As if I caught him in the act and he fled. In the moment, I was pissed off bc all I thought about was “why tf was he in my room while I’m sleeping”. I went right back to sleep after that. A few hours later I woke up to my mom in the kitchen and I asked her why tf dad was in my room? She had no idea wtf I was about bc she said that he is still sleeping and wasn’t in my room. I told her that he WAS and that he was wearing those grey shorts he sometimes wears around the house. She said that he wasn’t, he was wearing the navy blue ones and he has been asleep all morning. That she had been awake for a while and he never left the room. I was confused because I know I saw him, but then I realized that “he” was IN my room. Which meant that he would’ve had to pas those magnets upon entry and exit. Those magnets never made any click nor did the net itself move. There was no clearance for him to pass under it bc like I said, I left it that way to tell if someone was in my room if I was elsewhere in our tiny house. It was like “he” glitched through the net. I also didn’t see his face, when he turned to walk out he turned away from me. And his reaction time to realizing that my eyes were open were too quick for someone “sneaking” around. Every characteristic of my dad was on “him” down to the exact outline of the baldness of my dads head. I told my mom right then and there wtf happened and she said she wasn’t surprised. She had seen my dads doppelgänger before. She had said that one day she came home from work, about an hour later she heard the front door opened and saw my dad walk in. She said hello to him and he ignored her and continued walking towards the back of the house. A few minutes later, he walks by her again and leaves. She shrugged it off had his moodiness. About an hour or so later, MY dad gets home and she asked him wtf happened earlier that mad him ignore her. He said that he didn’t know wtf she was talking, that this is first time he’s been home all day. In the same morning that I saw my dads doppelgänger, my dad eventually wakes up and walking into the kitchen WEARING THOSE NAVY BLUE SHORTS BTW! I told him what happened and my mom told him her experience, and my dad also said that he isn’t surprised bc he saw his own doppelgänger years ago when he was a teenager. My dad is from a very small town in GA, his coaster home was surrounded by woods. He said one night he woke up and saw a figure walking towards his bunk bed that he shared with his brother. He said as it got closer, he thought it was his brother who looks just like my dad. My dad said that it wasn’t his brother that it was actually himself. He worn the same outfit my that dad currently own in his closet and had the same hairstyle at the time that his brother did not. He said that his doppelgänger didn’t say anything to him, it just looked into his face for a few moments and turned around and walked out of the room. He saw it a second time while he was cleaning the blinds. Ever since then, he hasn’t seen it again. The chills that went down my entire body was unreal that morning. To find out that my parents at different points in life have seen my dad’s doppelgänger is spine chilling to me. I’ve always wondered if that meant something, like looking at your doppelgänger could mean that you need to truly reflect and see yourself. But what my mom and I experienced, I haven’t been to figure out the why or how behind it.

Scariest thing that happened to me was when the wife and I went out of town on business. We returned three days later, and the cat-sitter told us that the cat was afraid of the library. This is a downstairs bedroom converted into a dedicated library. The walls are lined with book cases, and the only furniture is a comfortable chair. I checked out the room and was overwhelmed with an evil presence. My adrenaline was flowing and I felt like I was about to be attacked. I searched that room with a Buck knife out and ready, looking for some animal that was hiding in there, but found nothing. I determined it was a spirit and rebuked it, then put a new blessing on the house. It's been years but I still don't like going into the library, especially at night. It just seems soiled somehow.

Story 16. I have an explanation. Since she didn’t move, she thought she had an option to move. But no, it was sleep paralysis and her sister died of heart attack or stroke. I also have a story. Had to stay at a friends house and they had a piano. We were playing a board game, I think it was monopoly or something, but out of nowhere, the piano starts playing, it’s late at night, no one is on the piano stool, and his parents were upstairs.

I've heard a variation of the first story where two men on the sides of the woman aren't related to her death; she presumably died of a heart attack or something equally sudden, and the men are asleep, unknowingly supporting her corpse in an upright position by leaning on it. I know that "two killers showing off their victim" sounds more scary than "two unaware elderly passengers sitting next to a corpse", but I like this variation more - there's just some sort of eerieness in the fact that when MC and the businessman get out of the train (in this version he doesn't explain anything before they're on a platform and drags MC out almost forcibly, making it seem like he's the bad guy at first), these elderly passengers remain inside as the train leaves the station - still asleep, still unaware.

(This one was created by my dad’s friend and added onto by me) The story: Two friends named Dylan and Brian both just graduated high school and go camping to celebrate. It’s around 10 to 11 at night in the middle of summer. They are both sitting by the dying fire. One of them starts to hear a faint noise. A clicking sound that seemed to come from all directions. The clicking sound starts to get louder and louder, until it just stops. Then absolute silence. Dylan looks up and sees a set of eyes in the pitch black tree canopy above. Then three more sets of eyes appear, then the eyes all start to slowly move downwards, getting closer and closer with each passing second. After alerting Brian, Dylan runs to the flashlight that they left sitting on a tree stump, but before he can get there, he starts screaming as something drags him and the flashlight away into the forest. The forest is once again dead silent. When Brian runs to the tree stump only to find the stump covered in muddy hand prints. When Brian turns around, he sees a man standing at the fire, but it’s not Dylan. The man is wearing a cloth made from animal skin around his waist and has long hair and claw-like fingernails. The man just stands perfectly still as he stares at Brian. When Brian looks up at the tree canopy, he sees three more people similar to the first crawling head first down the trees. When Brian asks them what they want, the man says nothing. The man slowly lifts up his hand and then snaps his fingers, and a gust of wind blows out the fire.

A creepypasta called High Stakes. Without getting too deep into spoiler territory, it’s a story about a guy who is desperate for enough money to cover the hospital bills of someone he cares about. Basically he’s really good at poker and at one point enters a game with VERY high stakes to pay for said surgery. Not only is it beautifully written, but Mr. Creepypasta has done a great narration of it. One of my favorite scary stories because of how well written it is, as well as the idea of what you would be willing to risk if it meant potenriallly saving someone. Not only my favorite creepypasta but something about realistic horror always gives me the willies, especially when a story is written so well I’m easily able to suspend my disbelief enough to believe the events in the story have even a 1 percent chance of happening in real life. 10/10 story. Was on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I highly recommend reading the original work and listening to Mr. Creepypasta’s narration of it as he does a great job of setting the stage for each event in the story.

I have two, the first one is an actual murder story happened in a small town named Kırkağaç in Turkey. A boy goes missing, the police can't find him, after a while the mom finds some bones in a field, turns out it's her son but the scary part is when a vet in the town notices something is off with one of the local restaurants. Even to this day the murderer is known as the cannibal of Kırkağaç. The second one is also a true story from 1965, also in Turkey. A transport vehicle full of vitriol, an odorless, clear kind of acid that is so strong it melts human body the moment it touches it, hits a bus on a night break. It seems okay at first, the crush was fairly light and there is no harm on either of the vehicles. But the vitriol was leaking due to the crush which went unnoticed because it was nighttime and dark. When the vitriol found its way to a water hole nearby, it caused smoke because this is what happens when you mix vitriol and water. Passengers in the bus woke up and saw the smoke and thought there was a problem with the bus. When they left the bus in panic they stepped on the vitriol and it caused incredible pain for them. So they rushed to the water hole, thinking it would ease their pain, jumped directly in what they thought was still water. Even their bones were gone in seconds and it is narrated that the burning smell didn't go away for days and it was noticable from nearby towns

Idk if this is in the video already, but I heard this story on KZread and I thought I’d share it. A man is driving back home from a house party and has a camera showing the back of the car where the trunk is. He looks at this camera and only sees darkness. He shrugs it off as a dark night, when a cat comes speeding by on his left. He wonders why the camera didn’t show the car behind him on the street. But the man shakes his head and reminds himself the camera is getting a little old and probably just needs a good cleaning or fixing. So by the time he’s back home he has forgotten all about the camera. So, he goes to bed and gets ready for work in the morning. When he goes back to his car, he remembers he needs to check on the camera. When he looks at the back of his car, he finds scratch marks. The camera hadn’t been broken, something had been covering it. And, whatever it was, he had brought it home with him.
