Great video..normally wear 9.8 Italian flat curb..then got a 8mm miami cuban link..i wore it everyday and at work. Didn't bother me that much but you can feel it..I ended up upgrading to a 9mm. I say the perfect daily is 6-7mm. My 8mm 1st reaction was looks smaller than I expected so I'd suggest going bigger 9-10mm if you want neck profile. If you want comfortable 6-7mm

I daily a 9mm 22" perfect length in my opinion because its long enough to stay outside of your shirt without slipping inside your collar. I feel like 20" youll spend most of your time pulling the chain back out of your shirt. 8mm IMO is the smallest mens daily wear size

Lookin at the 10mm but man....that 12mm 26in is calling me bro. Its so nice, it just looks incredible.

I daily wear a 9mm 20 inch, it’s an amazing choice never gets in the way always popping out looking slick only lil thing is when going for runs it is a little annoying for sure but I’ve gotten use to it flip the lock to the bottom and you’ll be alright I will admit tho if it was any longer I imagine it couldn’t work way too obnoxious bouncing when running/ working out. Also sport a 60 gram pendent on it at times and it’s great.(100 gram chain it’s 10k)

My first cop was a 9mm 22" and dont regret it.

100% agreed in the 10mm X 24" being the sweet spot. Mine felt big for about a day and then, it just felt natural. The only downside is that now it has me wanting to upgrade to 12mm. 🫠

I got a 8.3mm 22” with a 2” pendant that I rock everyday and it’s perfect 😊

I daily wear 10mm 24 tucked for that neck profile.

I have 3 strategies for my chains. A single 8-9mm, 24in is my minimal wear. I add a 4-5mm, 26-28in as my normal daily, may add a modest pendant (big pieces annoy me when I walk). When I wanna be bold and flashy, my daily gains a 14-16mm, 20in. Possibly 12-14 if it's iced out, but I don't have one of those yet. Additionally I wear a 8mm bracelet daily and will add a bolder bracelet to it on occasion.

hey my first cuban was also a 9mm 14k 24" too! I'm looking at getting a 4mm now

I've owned micro cubans (2mm, 2.5mm and 4mm) as well as 5, 6 and 7mm. It does really depend on your build. I've found that 4mm is minimum for daily solitaire wear as smaller chains are bit harder to see the design so 4mm looks tight links and great. 5mm is my daily now and no complaints.

I will be getting the 5 or 6mm soon as a daily chain. I like the subtle look.

My daily wear is a 5mm, handmade 22k, 20in Miami cuban no pendant with a 2mm, 22k, 20in dc Franco with a 22k angel pendant on it, when I'm feeling like bigger I'll occasionally wear my 7mm, 22in dc franco with the 1oz lady fortuna pendant... smaller neck so a 20in is like a 22in on most others. I’m glad I got the 8mm/26inch Cuban and it is the largest chain I’d want to wear daily, the 8mm is still noticeable but comfortable anymore for me would be irritating especially in extreme hot or cold weather.

9mm 24” 14k yellow gold would be my preference. I thought about going with rose color gold but I still think yellow gold is more popular. Love your channel.

I think it also depends on your body build and your height. For a 5'6" smaller guy like me, 8 or 9mm 22" is good enough as a daily wear. Bigger guys can rock 10mm better.

I daily a 12mm chain with a 15mm bracelet, tuck it for a nice neck profile when I’m being conservative, leave it out or open the top buttons to shine!

From 4mm to 7mm chains are the best spot on just every day chains. From 8mm on up is a whole different ball game. I personally have a 24inch 6mm flat curb and it’s nice and spot on perfectly. I might pair it with a Miami Cuban 4.5mm 22inch. 🔥🔥 A 4.5mm Cuban chain 22inch isn’t cheap. It around the 4ish grand included with taxes so a 8mm or 7 is off my budget lol. My flat curb link chain 24inch, 6mm, 14kt yellow gold chain was 3 grand with taxes included. Taxes ain’t cheap lol. But gold is expensive overall. All solid chains. I learned to avoid hollows and semi-solids.

10.5 mm, 14kt 26in. Leon super tight links daily wear here. Got a 13mm bracelet to go with it. I layer that 💩 up with a platinum beaded chain & a platinum pamp suisse for good measure💪🏻🔥

My daily is 8.5 mm bracelet, and chain. U can have a 24 inch chain and 8 inch bracelet or 32 inch chain. Perfect look for pretty much everything.

Nice video Gus, in 2023 I upgraded four of my chains from sizes 5,8mm to 9mm in width to brand new hand made Miami Cuban 10.85mm 14K yellow 24.5" , 13mm 18K rose gold 25" with matching bracelet, 12.5mm 18K yellow 26" infinity AKA No Lock, and lastly 13.2mm 14K white gold 26" No Rhodium, No lock. Started my mission early 2023 and finished early August 2023. I'm done I'll take them to my grave total weight around 1.4 Kilo all came in well over purity/karat and workmanship above anything I've seen in recent years, thanks to Grimal first one and all the rest by way of GJM ! Oh as a bonus got my daughter a 6mm 20" 14K white gold hand made box lock laser engraving with diamond button with super tight links from of course GJM. **Added--maybe I'll give Gus a shot on a Tri-color yellow, white, rose every three links in that order as a statement piece.

I rock a 10mm, 22inch because I don’t like my chain swinging. I actually like the weight. I like knowing the chain is on my neck. Then I stack it with my 8mm, 20inch. Same thing, nice weight to it and 2mm smaller and 2inches shorter.

I loved the cuban link chain but sadly I already have one chain customed design that kinda look like a yacht chain but it actualy figure 8 link (5mm) solid 24k…. I paired it with cuban link bracelet (10mm) 22k for daily use and surprisingly the effect is causing my chain to look bigger 😅😂🤣😉…. So to those who are thinking to buy a small cuban link chain don’t worry if u paired it with a big bracelet u will have that affect….. and beware some jewelers will charge a lil bit more for small size 5mm or smaller because it take more time, effort and skills to do the small one but one would be amazed with the results and looks. I dunno why some design look nicer in small diameter.

From My Experience the mm for daily wear is very dependent on the person reason being is everyone has a different frame so for example: Someone on the bigger side at 6’1 250lbs could daily wear a 12mm to 15mm Vs 5’9 160lbs could daily a 8mm to 10mm

I wear 3, 18mm by 30inch chains every day! It was a little hard a first but now I can’t live without them. But man do I get the looks boy!

I have a 5mm and a 10mm. The 5mm is from Daniel Jewelry Inc and the 10mm is from Gus Villa. Both 14k. Both 24 inches. The 5mm is much smaller than it looks on camera. It also has a tendency to flip and twist on the neck bc it doesn’t have the surface area to make contact with the body and stay in a flat laying position. It still gets noticed a lot by other people as a daily wear but nothing compares to the 10mm.
