Fake jewlery can be easily detected, most of the time to the naked eye itself, if not at the point of purchase where equipment is had. It's no crime to simply put on a look that suits you. You don't pay thousands of dollars for real jewelry just to look some kind of way from a distance, you do it to build a family treasure, to build solid material wealth that does more than just sit in a vault and wait to be used as currency, to have a solid piece of your legacy incarnate. That's the stuff that will outlive you, and make people remember you. Some time in the distant future, G-d forbid, your family could come on hard financial times, that treasury could be the thing that saves them, and well kept jewlery is timeless. Joe Schmoe has some plated brass thing, it'll be trash by the end of the year at the latest, so what? let him do his thing, why you gotta hate on another dudes temporary drip? It's basically just a rental if you think about it. you gotta worry about the food on your own plate and stop worrying about what the next goon is doin, because you'll never finish your food that way. Let the dude have his fake chain, you both know it's shining, the world needs all the shine it can get, idc what it's made of.

I got my husband the cuban link chain from gld and its been almost two years and it is still in perfect condition.

I like gld for pendants, i like to switch it up and i’m not droppin 2 racks on every pendant i want but the care of plated and solid are different, my real chain doesn’t need any care and it still shines like day 1, workouts and everything. I gotta watch my gld jewelry tho but it serves it’s purpose. It’d probably match better with 10kt tho my 14kt is richer colored if youre paying attention

a couple things ive noticed with gld items: dont wear them everday wear it on special occasions wear it for maybe a couple hours at most on days when you do wear it!

Gavin Almaraz 20 inch is a decent size as well. 16inch is cutting is close to being a small “choker” piece. But if you want that, you can definitely reach out to the GLD team and they’ll let you know the sizes available

Good question. It’s vermeil plated. So it’s stainless under and plated with a thicker gold layer on it.

Sorry for the delay but it’s going on a little over 3 years. Gold is still there but looks a little aged which is expected for a piece that’s not solid gold. BUT it’s still wearable.
