Well, since you used Gold HHA Trophies & Gold HHA Plaques in each room, maybe you should've also used GOLD Wallpaper & GOLD Flooring in each room? Also, maybe you could've put Gold HHA Trophies on GOLD Wall-Mounted Shelves?

I wonder if it _is_ a point system and the stars are just rounded versions of that. Like the points can be an accurate representation of your island score but the game only tells you the score in terms of stars, like one star for every 100,000 points or smth like that.

@@aefreeman83 that’s what i did. i ran out of space cos i was too poor to pay my loan off lol. i had practically my whole wall covered in clothes.

I got over 150,000 points just by putting random furniture in random spots. Most of it doesn't even have the same color. None of them even fit together.

For a long time my best room was the back one The one I spamed with one of each mario item on telenook....

HHA: Yes, we require your reds to be in the east and your greens to be in the west. We accept nothing less than the finest detailed perfection! Also HHA: gold plaques and trophies go brrr

So moral of the story is that you can still get a massive score without really doing anything

I dunno why a house just chock full of trophies and plaques made me laugh so much.

villager photos everywhere pn the walls is the best way, since there are over 200 unique ones and they are all lucky. only one of the gold trophies gets you the extra 777 points but every unique photo gives you extra 777 points

@@perryplatypus17 yooo my high school economics teacher plays Animal Crossing (used to be New Leaf, he went to New Horizons when it came out). He teaches us about the stock market by using the turnip market in ACNH😂 he has his own instagram account where he posts about his bell-making adventures!

My house is decorated with things I collect in appropriate "themes", which basically means my house is junky and you can barely move around. But hey, my hha score is over 300,000.

Just FYI, Feng Shui is a concept of Chinese ancient culture, literally meaning wind and water. Some are really just superstitious bullshit but some others do make a lot of sense.

Yeah Feng Shui is more than just "this colour goes here"! It's about rearranging your home in ways that promote positive energy flow. It's still very much a thing in places like Singapore and Hong Kong!

I hate the HHA because when I time travel, my alt acounts' mailboxes get filled with letters from the HHA. I consider HHA letters to be like spam mail at this point.

The most comfortable house in the history of humanity: house filled with golden trophies. Doesn't matter that you can't even move around your home, the most important thing is that you are rich ;) That's some good life lessons.

Same lol. I like the "build mode" when ur in ur house. Makes it wayyyy easier to put things down exactly where and in the exact orientation you want them.

@@taylorbritt499 this is so true, the build mode makes it SO MUCH easier. Plus they actually show how much space each thing will take up and indicate where you’re about to place the thing. Can’t stand that there’s nothing that like outside of one’s house.

All I could think about during this video was "where did you get all the gold trophies and plaques???" Also, I don't care how many points you get, I'm not putting a bed in my main room! ;)

I got a super high score just by covering my walls in extra clothes that didn't fit in my inventory-

I would start sobbing out of pure fear if I ever found myself in your acnh house oh my god.

In New leaf, it was pretty simple, pick a theme and put as many items in each room as you can. Complete sets in each room packed really tight. I got around 2.3mil that way if I remember correctly.

I got 600,000+ just by following the HHA guide but now that I watched this video, I'm beginning to wonder what the other players houses look like. I bet you that some of them don't care in decorating the house and only just collected the villagers photos and KK slider albums and put on the wall or in the ground. That's my assumption of their highest HHA score. EDIT: You were right for at least 3 category items to get the bonus but it only applies 1 item per category so points won't count if their on the same category. I'm also surprised you didn't mention the color bonus, then again, it's going a take a while as you need to be a mathematical genius to understand the color bonus.

the real problem is getting actual furniture from nooks cranny

I remember the first time I got the gold HHA trophy was because I had run out of storage space and maxed out all my furniture in each room hanging random clothes on the wall to make space until I got another house upgrade. guess the HHA loves seeing 30+ pairs of shoes mounted on the wall

I started playing at a very young age at the point I didn’t knew how to read and my mom would have to read the stuff that Tom nook would tell me, the issue was she wasn’t always at home and I sometimes has to guess what the fuck my villagers were talking about. *My point is I used to think that Lyle was the owner of a hotel in the city-*

Since they always give so many tips in the letters, I was thinking in my mind that I hadn’t gotten the highest ranking yet even after two years of playing, so I wanted to look into what I could do after seeing another of your videos, only to realize that of course I have been S rank already. Idk why they always have tips, or why I can’t opt out now. 🤣

Ah. I just figured out, how I have an S tier score, even though I have 1 completely undecorated room, and 2 barely decorated rooms, as well as one "just drop it on the floor" room. It's because I have 15 villager pictures hung up on my friendship trophy wall, as well as my actual trophies displayed...... The more you know

I got over 546,000 points in house that I has every villager photo that I won on a twitch stream.

the 170 item limit seems like it would be possible to optimise the score by giving each bonus an average score per item. I think each HHA trophy was worth like 1277, so if there was a set of 4 items worth 400 each, and gives 4000 bonus points, that would be an average of 1400 per item: higher than the HHA trophies. I'm curious how many of these combinations exist and if we could calculate the definitive highest possible score with that.

I was able to achieve S ranking in HHA with only the first three expansions to my house simply because I had a lot of furniture per room each room had a sort of theme I set once I built them so it was easy to arrange what I wanted and still manage to be able to move around.

Makes sense why I got a letter from the HHA saying I should put yellow furniture in the west

I've been struggling to get that last HHA reward. thanks for this. I honestly thought there were caps on all of these like only 3 lucky items and thought feng shui only counted in the living room

I finally got my gold trophy this week! all it took was placing every wall item I own in my main room, furnished only with nook mile ticket stacks on the ground bc I ran out of storage space 😇🙏✨
