It's really tricky in this game. It was much easier in New Leaf.

I honestly like how the devs added using a net to pop a balloon as an alternative option. That goes to show that the devs think of the multiple types of players there are.

Ever since balloons were poppable (wild world) you've been able to do it, too, which means that they came up with it at the same time as popping balloons

@@manicfreeman8861 Balloons in WW float too high for the net to reach. Remember that WW is on a DS, and the top screen is reserved for the sky.

@@elisabethkonig4267 WW doesn't have the programming required for slopes and such-- the entire town is flat in that game, including the beach and bridges

Thinking about it, realistically, the only other golden tools you could get without using the defaults are the Watering Can, as it comes with the 5 star island rating, and the shovel, as you merely need to help Guliver/Gulivarr a number of times. The net requires you to catch all bug types, the fishing pole requires you to catch all fish types, and the axe requires you to break 100 axes.

How are you going to help Guliver without the shovel? Helping Gulivarr doesn't count toward the shovel.

@@falovepa Just pulled from the wiki -- Gulliver and Gullivarrr are separate characters, helping Gullivarrr does not count toward the Golden Shovel DIY reward, though it does count towards the 1/10/20 encounter nook rewards. -- So while it counts for the nook miles plaque, it apparently doesn't count for the shovel. That's unfortunate.

This is amazing. We have all literally bashed ACNH so much we are now desperate for new things to do in the game. Which leads to these insane and amazing challenges It reminds me of that social experiment where people are put into a boring room and given a button that gives them an electric shock. And people will keep pressing it. This channel is that button. Thank you for bringing new enjoyment and novelty to a game I've played to death!

Challenge Idea: Get every villager poster (use of nookazon is allowed, but amiibo cards is not)

I literally have all golden tools and I didn’t get any of them legitimately I was tired of them breaking and the gold ones looked cooler so I bought them and their recipes as well as some gold nuggets off of someone on ebay

I just got the Golden Slingshot DIY today! Although, I did use a slingshot lol

You did this on my sisters birthday (in game)

the other ones where u dont need any of the regular tools are the watering can (obviously), the fishing rod and the net (other players from the same island catch all animals and put them outside sp you can pick them up) (not sure bout these 2)

So an easier way is to go to an treasure island. 😅😂

I think the golden watering can is the only one you can get without using it's tool. The shovel could be probably with Nookazon, but at that point, you might as well get every recipe. (Except for the axe)

try to get a villager photo only giving them the same gift over and over. Try giving a different villager a different gift. eg: Judy gets an iron wall lamp everyday and give Butch 2 non-native fruit every day.

You could get the golden axe by breaking only golden axes, really just an incredibly waste of time! But it seems like we enjoy that here 😂

I think the only other golden tool you can get without using the regular version is the watering can?? (This comment may be spoilery for those who don’t know how all the golden tools are obtained!!) the net and fishing rod are immediately off the table because you have to use them to catch all the bugs and fish. The golden shovel you get from helping Gulliver 30 times and that can’t be done without a regular shovel. Golden axe you have to break 100 axes so that’s a no. However the watering can is doable. You do need a lot of flowers for 5 stars but you could just let the rain water them or steal them from mystery islands. Great video idea btw!! :D
