You sir are my childhood hero! Before I could walk I was watching you fish on TV. 36 years later the love of fishing you and my dad instilled in me has yet to die. Bless you and thank you for all the joy you put into not only in my childhood, but so many others!

Bill, thanks for all the tips and inspiration over the years. I asked on another video when the last time you got skunked was, you answered it clearly here! It happens, even to folks like you who we regular anglers consider legends. Worst day fishing is better than the best day at work!

I had to look you up as my father never stops talking about you, just wanted to thank you tho. I guess you really made him enjoy fishing and as a side effect I grew up fishing with him and love it myself. Thank you :)

One lure to catch one fish is an easy answer for me - jerk bait. I’ve caught bass, pike, walleye, musky, perch, crappie, rainbow trout, and even a catfish on jerkbaits. I think only live bait can compete with that diversity of catch.

Mr.Dance thanks so much for this vid im at 8:05 and i truely feel that way i just recently bought a crankbait jerkbait and rootbeer zoom craw and spents time this recent weekend to learn the bait because one thing i learned real fast is you dont never know what is it that they are gonna want. i once caught a bass on worms and then i once caught a channel cat on a crankbait jerkbait ans then yesterday i caught 2 turtles and 2 channel cats this past weekend on maple sausage so again i just dont never know what it is that they are gonna want so Bill i thank you for what you said at 8:05 take the time to learn the bait in the end it'll pay off when you least expect it

I have never seen that bullet weight slip stop bead looking thing. Can you tell us what it's called. I might like to give that a try as I normally only use the rubber pegs that slip thru the bullet weight. Thanks 🙏

I got the same one tighten your front brakes to a 6-7 loosen your back drag enough to keep the cast fluid without back lashing your line and crank that drag down tight if your flipping if your just running some spinnerbaits you can loosen your drag just a tad to give them a little pull

One lure/bait to catch fish not just bass but for food and survival is easy it’s a plastic grub/or similar type like Bobby garland or bass assasin but the chartreuse 3” grub will catch em all any time of year all species
