In the match between a plat and a gc, you put the icons on opposite sides, and it looks like the plat won 😂😂. Still a great video

At champ is when you improve majorly. Getting to gc is consistency and changing your play style and predicting opponents. This is why the champ is just slaughtering the lower ranks, he doesn’t exactly care about opposing play styles and goes for his own game and the lower ranks get overwhelmed. Whereas GCs are used to a certain standard of play and different decision making and they like to adapt to that. The champ is pretty cracked and consistent, but the main reason why he’s probably still in champ might be his ability to adapt to play styles. That plat also kinda popped off in his match against Helical, don’t give helical too much shit for it being competitive

I agree with that progression chart. It seems at c2+ The speed of play is generally very close. The only improvements to be made really are being very well positioned as often as possible with the most boost you can have possible. It's starting to come down to who can think the furthest ahead. Its really insane how much better gc3+ players are in regards to where I'm at in c2. Just leaps and bounds yet so close.. small things and decisions. Well on top of just drilling fundamentals and getting those gnarly mechanics down pat. Another year of this training and I'm hoping to be touching gc1 if not higher... but.. hell man! It's tough sometimes hahaha

Even though you used multiple ranks, you only used 1 person from each rank so you can't say what the whole of a rank needs to improve on just by watching 1 player from that rank since everyone has a different play style in a rank

It's weird, I have the same consistency and playstyle as that champ 2 player and I only just got d2... maybe it's because i don't play much ranked. Maybe if I play ranked more I can easily get champ. I went from D1 div 1 to div 4 no losses, and then div 4 to d2 div 2 with 3 losses

mind that there is a bit of a skill increase at low champ, but if you feel you can reach c2, then go for it. i dont necessarily play 1s as much either, but thats since im grinding 3s

I feel like that diamond on the inside but realistically im 10x worse

The diamond is use too playin against plats and did good job against him but he ball chases against both champ and gc and missed multiple goals i dont get that

Enjoyed the video as always but your conclusion and the graph at the end don't really reflect your data. The game between champ and gc was close and so were all the metrics you used, but your graph shows the greatest skill increase from champ to gc. Based on your data, the greatest skill increase should be from diamond to champ. I don't necessarily disagree that the greatest skill increase is from champ to gc based on my own experience, it's just that your data doesn't support it. Unless I'm missing something.

I was going for freestyles and neglected multiples open nets to keep the game close, probs should’ve mentioned it but didn’t wanna sound too cocky, I had complete boost control in every game and around triple the shots.
