What's the difference between "Liquor" and "Liqueur"?

Liquor vs liqueur? Whats the difference? Basically there's liquor is an alcoholic beverage that has been fermented and then distilled. There's six main types of liquor: whisky, rum, vodka, gin, brandy and tequila. A liqueur is what you get when you take a liquor, use it as a base spirit and then add a sweetener to it. Some popular liqueurs include baileys, kahlua, and midori!
