Everybody has to give this a solid try. Most people I know only do one round half-a** and that's that. They said they tried it. However the 15% of people who honestly try 4 rounds, implement it into their lives. It took me a little while to get the technique under my belt, but it was worth it. Life changing. And, thankfully Master Hof has opened the door for us. There's so much more to explore.

Something I've never heard you talk about, perhaps because nobody has ever pointed this out to you, is that your breathing technique is the cure for panic attacks. Long story short, was struggling with panic attacks for most of my adult life. By chance, and for reasons not related to anxiety, I tried your breathing technique. I didn't know what to expect, but had been told I'd feel a sense of calm... this was initially wrong. As I got to the 10th or 11th breath, I realised that I was experiencing exactly the same symptoms as a panic attack, except this time it felt even more weird, because I had induced the feelings of tingling and light-headedness. Nonetheless, I continued to breath 20. My entire face felt like it was a metre away, I felt electrified, like a panic attack x 1000, but with a weird sense of control. I held my breath, and to my amazement, all those panic attack symptoms (tingling, numbness, light-headedness) went away. Since then, I have never had a panic attack because I feel like I have a tool to combat it, should it occur... and that's what most people who get panic attacks are worried about; having a panic attack - fear of fear. Makes sense because you involuntarily hyperventilate when you're having a panic attack. So yeah, hold your breath, congrats on the cure.

I've been on the VHM journey for over 18 month and it has transformed my health. I do my breathing exercises whilst out walking my dogs every morning and haven't had my shower thermometer past the coldest setting for over 14 months. My skin and muscle tone is much better from it too and highly recommended everyone to stick with it and feel the benefits.

Wim hof. Thank you for your work to improve our health. I live in east Africa. You come all the way to climb Kilimanjaro but we haven't even thought of doing that. My question is . How did you manage to walk through the hot desert without drinking water and not getting exhausted. Or what method of breathing while you were doing the walk? Thank you

Wim Hof has changed my life! Three months ago My daughter introduced me to Wim’s breathing technique to help me regain calm and balance after a rather traumatic relationship break up. All I can say is WOW and THANK YOU. 😊🦋. I am having a double hip replacement operation in 2 weeks and I am confident that the combination of breathing, cold showers and exercises I’ve been doing will speed my recovery. I’ve never been more content in my life. Bless you Wim Hof!!! 🙏

I can share with you that I followed Wim Hof on KZread doing his breathing exercises then I downloaded the app which has lots of other exercises and information. Visit wimhofmethod.com I was also journaling A LOT 😊 going for walks and gentle yoga. I’m doing more intense exercises now - a combination of yoga, Wim’s exercises from the app and physio. I'm happy that I found Wim Hof's videos few weeks ago. So cool. I practice since then every day. Question: Is it normal that I reached my longest breathholds during the first week of practising the WHM? I started with 2.11min and after 5 days with rising times I could hold my breath for 3.41min at day 6... This was the "record" so far, but I never reached a similar breathhold-time near that again. In fact it's rare that I reach the 3min. I know it's not about records, it's about feeling, but I'm curious if somebody else experienced the same decline? Was it perhaps only a kind of initial enthusiasm?

Donna Barksdale hi Donna! Try the beginners breathing technique on Wim Hof KZread channel, then the 2 to 3 minutes cold shower straight after, you’ll feel the benefit properly.. I was on drugs and drink for 20 years in and out of prison, I was a very lost angry person.. then found Wims documentary then practiced he’s technique and I swear the feeling you get of total control and being alive from a simple task is what this world is looking for, good luck 😉
