I don't want Jonathan to be with Nancy but I don't want him to be killed either, Jonathan is a good boy but I don't think he loves Nancy like Steve loves her.

How many stancy fans are new to the show ? Because I feel like the majority of y’all don’t remember waiting and yearning between season 2 taking forever to come out so we could see jonathon and Nancy Together

Nah, I didn't like really care if Jancy got together. I could tell the writing was going there, but it didn't excite me. I'm also not the biggest Stancy stan... they both have merits and failings.

You're assuming that everyone wanted Jancy together. I didn't really care one way or the other until I fell for Stancy in s4 and there are people who have been fully Stancy since s1.
Jonathan cares about Nancy's future and knows she'll regret not following her dreams. They both can go to college and have a relationship while still being happy of pursuing their careers. However Steve wants her to birth 6 kids and that would totally tie her down, an idea she has always hated. That wouldn't work out. So yeah Jancy > Stancy
