Both Steve and Nancy made mistakes.Some people say Nan doesn't deserve Steve cuz she slept with Jo before brokeup with steve. Yes I agree. So I think in ss4 even she realizes that she loves Steve (we cant deny that fact, obviously smell the love in the air when they are together), she didn't do anything cross the line like hug or kiss or sleep with Steve. I think she needs to end with Jo first. They are both grow up now and they know who they truly love.

I think what will happen is Nancy realizes she has feelings for Steve and all that fun stuff. Steve will sacrifice himself for her to live and she sees him die and johnathan is in shown behind her as she falls to the ground in agony over Steve’s death or crying over his body. The camera will blur them and clear on Jonathan’s face of a realization that she loves Steve so much and him walking away as they all mourn Steve and Nancy holds him and says she loves him.

The duffers said in an interview that things between Nancy and Jonathan are not fully resolved yet. And the official script tells you that Nancy has indeed unresolved feelings for Steve. When Steve told her that she was always there is his dream it says: "Her heart skips." In season 5 we'll find answers to all of that.

steve deserves better. nancy may not be doing it on purpose, but she’s messing with their hearts, steve’s and jonathan’s. steve has done all he’s done *for* nancy, not against her. his acts in season 1 were wrong, but he was hurt because of her, understandably so. he should get a better girl who will treat him the way he deserves to be treated.

I disagree I think out of guilt of Nancy being happy with Steve she felt a sort of guilt because of barb and she knows she’s always felt this way for him and seeing him be so close to death she really does love him and act this she won’t ever let him go again because Steve showed in his most painful times he cared more for her safety than his own he will always love her

I don't even know if this makes me ship them more or less. They had cute moments and bad moments... IDK. In some ways Stancy was set up as the obstacle for Jancy... But I felt like she kinda only settled on Jonathan because he was there for her when Steve wasn't. But personality-wise, I don't see them being a match. That being said, I know Jonathan cares about Nancy. But Steve seems to care about Nancy too--maybe more than she ever actually cared about him. Does she want a brood of Little Harringtons or a brooding stoned Jonathan...

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. In my opinion, romantic love should not be on the highest pedestal. In my opinion, parents and siblings' family love is the strongest. Family knows who you are. Romance is fake for lots of people, put on a false persona and romance on most parts gets ugly real fast. For the reality of romance is no Disney love story. Parents and siblings' family love is one of the strongest types of love there is. If romantic love is actually real, it would be one of the weakest types of love there is.
