Martin came off the Eastern finals run and backed it up with nothing.. what’s not to understand by his people. I don’t understand why the past 2 yrs. We have upcoming free agents and not trying to move them for something? 3 summers of the Heat are “interested” in such player, which by the way means not getting! Just go young and see what happens. The run it back is old and it feels like we will be running another injury ridden season! Please we can’t do this again next summer..

What’s frustrating about this entire thing is both Miami & Boston were 1 move away from a championship. Boston made their move, we didn’t. They won a championship & now we are treading water. That’s a strange place to be when you made 2 NBA Finals in 4 years

@@jimmyjay689 if ur in the Finals … ur a piece away. And they might’ve been able to win 2020. They lost Dragic, Bam & Jimmy’s ankle in game 1; & still got it to 6. Nobody outside Miami fans knew what Bam was. & Dragic led the team in scoring. But the bottom line is they were a piece away. They beat an overloaded Boston team twice. Because they had the 1 thing Boston didn’t; mental edge. But Miami really needed Dame & Dame did all he could but Cronin was salty & gave Boston their piece in Holiday instead. Soon as that went down I called Boston winning the Chip. Kinda sickening

I loved the Terry trade. It made a lot of sense. You got a younger pg that could help put points on the board and pressure on the rim. Things that K-Lo wasn't giving. Now, I wasn't too excited about adding a 1st rd to it, but I understood we had to sweeten the pot a bit. But T-Ro is a great fit on this team and in the starting lineup with T.Herro, Jimmy, Niko, and Bam.

As the days go on, I’m finding myself wanting them to go into rebuild more and more. I think I definitely lean that way now, hearing that they don’t view themselves as having a chance to win this year. They need to decide what the core is going forward. Is it Bam? Is it all these 19-22 year olds that have now that look really promising? If it’s the young guys, you need to trade Bam. If it’s Bam you need to go get some high quality players that are on his timeline.

why everyone think Caleb mistook his market as opposed to he wanted to leave for a contender? We keep trying to spin this as a mistake when it looks quite deliberate. He and his agent seems to have bid on themselves - he will have a great year. There is a clear nepotism with Heat org - Herro and Duncan got paid...this guy who does more get 65mil?!? Stop saying he clearly wanted to come back. Given a chance with a team where they constantly upgrade and get stars and have stars and have a better chance at a chip, all those facts and you all keep saying it was a mistake?! weird take. why would he sign for 7 million when Riley holding off on JButler's contract and JButler might have told Caleb since the heat wouldn't pay him now, he won't play for them and will walk away. Tyler earned his contract? shooting at time 25% from the field (not just from 3)...DRobinson earned previous years of contract...stop being RIley stans.
