It wasn’t the most stellar NXT show, but it was a solid time. Perez/Grace was my MOTN, Oba is a star and Sexy Red, Lola Vice and Rancid Kelly Clancid (shoutout to the Cultaholic Wrestling Podcast) twerking was not on my wrestling bingo card for 2024

You guys praised the hell out of the Oba Femi match, and yet I still think you're underselling it (and him). He's just so good. He doesn't have a ton of charisma, but he does have charisma oozing out of his pores. He's got that energy to the way he carries himself, like it's almost a dance, with those crazy eyes and that swagger - it's infectious as hell. They try to book him as a heel, but he's just so entertaining that the crowd refuses to behave like he's not the face. And then he wrestles, and he's everything you said he is and more. He just looks so damn powerful. It looked like he threw Wes Lee 15 feet in the air. He tossed him so high it was a bigger bump than anything in the ladder match. This is the second Triple Threat match (which I find to be a very difficult match type to pull off well) where he stole the show and not only looked like an unstoppable force himself, but also made everybody else look so good that I found myself caring about them much more than I did before. I developed real positive feelings about Joe Coffey and Josh Briggs (and developed even stronger positive feelings about Wes Lee and Dijak) as a result of watching them fight Oba Femi. He's not the biggest giant in WWE history, but I feel like he's the giant that they've been looking for for a long, long time. He's everything they wanted Omos to be. And then at the end of the matches, he holds the belt in his teeth! What's not to love? This dude is THE GREATEST.

As much as I enjoy all the women involved in the ladder match Kelani Jordan was THE LAST one I expected/wanted to win. IMO that title had Sol Rucas name written all on it. My second pick would have been a coin toss between Falon and Lash, with Jaida being a close 3rd

@owaiscarneiro226 she's not bad in the ring for being very new. She just has the least heat out of all the ones I mentioned. Sol Ruca was probably the odds on favorite based on popularity (and the fact her move set is AWESOME) with Jaida, probably second if you're judging by internet popularity and exposure not necessarily in ring work.

After watching Oba Femi, my fantasy booking for his main roster debut is him debuting at Summerslam next year- answering an Open Challenge from Gunther. The match goes like Lesnar vs Cena, with Oba Femi being the Lesnar of the match.

Honestly thought Henley was going to win the lasder match. Definitely felt like a rushed finish to the march. Not even like a last minute brawl on the top to see who would actually win. Split legged moonsault shouldn't of been the last move of the match unless it was from two ladders

I can potentially see a situation where, if they feel Trick isn't progressing enough in-ring as champion, they have Oba Femi do a Keith Lee and win the NXT title from him while North-American champion, then vacating the lower title the next NXT episode. Ethan Page would then be a strong candidate to have hold that title until a new young star is ready to beat him for it

At a time when WWE has so much talent that even some of the most promising NXT prospects aren't able to establish a role on the main roster, Ethan Page did absolutely nothing to stand out or be at all memorable. For his sake, I hope he can turn it around quickly.

@intothevoid81 , yes, it increased viewership by a bit. But what I am saying is that because AXS TV is only available in about half of American homes, TNA viewership isn't gonna suddenly go to 500,000. Look at Women Of Wrestling that are currently on The CW & pulling 250,000-300,000 viewers a week because The CW is available in twice as many homes in America. If TNA was on The CW, I have no doubt they would consistently draw 500,000 plus viewers. They are more than good enough for that.

Considering TNA's questionable financial situation right now, it feels like this 'partnership' is just the first step towards TNA being bought by WWE and WWE getting its tape library. It is pretty well known that HHH wanted WWE to buy ROH, and wasn't happy when Tony Khan got it instead because Vince didn't see the value in buying ROH, I don't think he'll want to miss that opportunity again. TNA has a 20+ year tape library full of some of the best (and worst) moments in pro wrestling history as well as a lot of video footage related to all kinds of WWE talent past and present.

It was not a BAD show, but it was just kind of there. The Women’s Ladder match was fun. But the least interesting person and least developed character won. And frankly the match itself and the finish did her no favors because they just showed why OTHER women would have been cooled winners. The Tag Match was solid. Glad Lola won. They should use her beating Nattie and Shayna to really start pushing her. Roxanne vs. Jordynne was really good. But with a predictable outcome and I don’t think the finish worked either. Trick vs. Page was, fine. But again meh finish. It felt like NXT had multiple opportunities to make this show really memorable. And did not take any of them, which was disappointing.

TNA should abandon the deal. No chance in hell would a top champ go to TNA and lose in a match. The main roster champs don’t go to NXT and lose clean so why did Jordan?
