I love the viscose-lined, white linen blazer, so many here in the US have non-breathable poly linings, which I can’t wear, ever. Viscose/rayon are highly breathable, they make great linings. A few here have cotton linings, which is nice, but these can be on the warm side for hot summers. I just can’t see any point in wearing a linen blazer lined with plastic, the whole point of wearing linen is that it’s cool and breathable! Like you, I buy only quality, natural-fiber fabrics, just one more thing to love about your channel! It’s great that you’re showing us your new items, it’s not like a “haul”, where the items will only be worn briefly for a photo or video. These are part of your wardrobe🙂

Absolutely agree with you on a topic of linen blazer with polyester lining. I could maybe accept a wool coat with some poly in lining, because I already put it on a cotton or wool top, but in summer it’s a big NO. Thank you so much for your kind words, I do feel uncomfortable showing new pieces, but you’re right I DO love them and they will be part of my wardrobe for (hopefully) a very long time xxx🥰

♥♥♥the belted jacket and those trousers. Both fit you beautifully. Your clothing by haul is brilliant. You are not about extortionately priced designer brands. You create elevated, memorable looks using thrifted items.

Yay another video 😀 It’s so frustrating looking for blazers and they all seem to have polyester lining… I tried one in John Lewis it was 100% linen outer but the lining was polyester and it felt so bad 😭. I’ve got my eye on a linen Arket one but not sure if I should get a 38 or 40. Great work as always, hope you’re having a lovely Easter!

Hi Dear, I absolutely agree with you. Especially linen blazers that we wear on a short sleeve or bare skin must have some breathable lining. I recommend the Arket blazer, I have it in a light beige in my usual size 36, because it says oversize, so I wouldn’t go to high up. It’s half lined with viscose I believe☺️👍

I like your blazer looks - However, I live in a place where everyone has a professional job and nobody is wearing a blazer during evenings/weekends. Actually, nobody is even wearing a blazer anymore in the office. It seems more like a youtuber style, but it does not translate to my environment. I thought I would share that as an FYI because I really like the overall looks you put together and would like to adapt more from your palettes.

Hello and thank you so much for such an interesting comment. So my question is “Do people around you wear blazers at all”? you see for me it’s what I like and what I feel great in and I feel amazing in blazers. My inspiration is men’s fashion and 90’s minimalism not what influencers wear. If you like blazers, give it a go in a more casual outfit, don’t look at what people around wear. Probably if I analysed my environment I would have realised most people don’t wear blazers (primary school mothers🤪).

@SlowDownInStyle In the office, the older women (40+) sometimes wear a blazer. But that is becoming less prevalent and when I wear one I feel overdressed. It's more typical to wear a nice sweater/shirt. Outside of work, people wear sweaters/shirts but it's all very casual. No designer logos, other than people who wore Canada Goose coats over the winter. I do wholeheartedly agree with wear what makes you feel good so I will try some blazer looks this spring. Thank you!
