Easily the most informative Shot Show video I've watched. No fast-forwarding here. I watched every minute. That new, double-stack ammo is interesting! I would not ever have thought about combining two shot sizes like that. Also interesting is the lower power, 410 gauge for skeet. I like the idea of subsonic for skeet and trap. Less noise.

I message Browning multiple times per year so maybe you can let them know for me too... when will they release the cynergy wicked wing in 20 gauge. I don't know that 20 is even a sub gauge any more with the new non-toxic loads. Browning is absolutely my favorite factory rifle and shotgun, but they're late to the game with 20 and 28 gauge offerings. .

As a southpaw, I have most available left hand shotguns, in semi auto at least, but seeing all available options would be nice. Currently Tristar, Benelli, Beretta, and Winchester are the major players for semi autos, and Mossberg makes occasional left hand pump action special shotguns, and Browning makes the ever popular BPS.

Steve thanks for getting us shotgun nuts into shotshow. This was exactly the video I was hoping for! I’m a upland fanatic, and I love benelli ultralights. From snipe to sage grouse my ultralight benelli has never failed. I have carried mine over 2000 miles in all types of terrain. I was worried that benelli was dropping the ultra light from their line. I WILL be buying the new model as soon as my dealer can get one. Please review the new ultralight!

Steve, im an old school rem 1100 fan. I have shot some newer inertia guns by browning, winchester, and benelli and they seem recoil heavy and sluggish on reload. Are all the new autoloaders inertia driven or are there still some old school gas guns? If there are gas guns, i wouldve liked for you to include that aspect in your commentary ab all tge different guns at shotshow. Love your channel too btw

I have a new Sabatti Forest combination gun, 12 Ga magnum on the top and 30-06 is a bottom barrel. For hunting I don't need nothing better. Sorry because od my English I am from Europe....

So with the duplex ammo - shotshells containing 2 different size shot - unless there is some weird ballistic phenomena with these shells I just don’t get it. If you need the energy and velocity retention of the larger pellet size, why replace some of the pellets with smaller pellets? If the smaller size pellets are adequate, why decrease the number of pellets in the pattern by replacing some of them with a smaller number of larger pellets? If you need more pellets in your pattern than you get with #2s, and you need more energy than you get from #4s, isn’t the correct solution to use #3s? Is there some ballistic witchcraft with these shells where the smaller pellets retain more velocity than they otherwise would?

Fun video - looks like you are having a great time. 20 gauge #2 shot for home defense, probably not as I like the sound of a 12 gauge for part of the deterrence factor when confronted by multiple hostiles but as for capabilities, yeah, it could work considering the typical ranges involved

The sound of a 12ga vs a 20 isn’t going to be a notable difference to an intruder. And if you’re thinking that’s going to make a difference when it counts, you’re setting up for failure when that time comes.

I've been waiting for Beretta to extend their Kick-Off (KO) recoil reduction system to the O/U and you showed us the new Beretta Ultraleggero KO available in perhaps Q2. When it does, it would be very interesting to get your take on it's recoil reduction compared to a similar weight O/U with the Falcon Strike system. And perhaps you can ask Beretta what their plans are for extending the KO system in their firearms line. Also, consider a video on semi-auto "shell catchers" for shooting on the Trap or Skeet fields. Folks say use rubber bands, but will they risk hurting the action?

Please do the Citori feather in 20 gauge. I think most of the people that watch the videos are hunters so hunting guns would be appreciated. Also if you could answer why almost all over unders are 1 5/8 drop or less but semi autos are usually 1 3/4 I’d appreciate it. I’ve gotten so used to my SX3 that I’m having a hard time with finding an over under. Pretty much why I’m stuck with the Citori which isn’t a bad thing cause that have the 1 5/8 which makes it pretty close. Just want a gun that fits me. Thanks!

I don't know anyone with a 28gauge gun, but I know plenty of .410 users and finding .410 ammo is insane.

As a beretta 694 acs owner as well as franchi infinity 3 and using both for sporting clay and trap, can’t go wrong either way. Spend what you can afford and place more value on - where will it be in 20 yrs… I’m focusing on learning myself, teaching my kids, and leaving memories with them. That said, I have been wanting the Benelli 828u since I saw it and agree with prior comment that it’s designed in a way that it doesn’t look 0:43 double-barreled. And I’m a “simple” guy, that dark gray is sleek, and personally prefer it over the shiny finish. I’d appreciate a Beretta 694 review because as a novice (just started last year), 50 yr. Old, I bought a Fanchi Infinity first. Shot a 74 of 100 with my semi-auto franchi. Then shot at 69 on the intermediate course. Bear in mind, I’ve never done this before. Bought the Beretta 694 acs in 30” last year as well and shot 74/76/77 in the three rounds on intermediate course I did with that. For me, the cost of the shotguns didn’t matter justify the performance difference. What mattered more, was the inheritance and legacy left behind. I hope one day they matter to my children. Whether they sell them to get cash or sit and talk for hours with their children and friends about what they meant while I was still with them, it’s a value to them. I appreciate your videos, and I learned a lot from you that helped me in my newly found enjoyment for clay shooting. One day, maybe you can do challenge tests and have viewers participate in contest while learning from you at the same time. That would be right up my alley.
