9:40 I agree. The Boardwalk area, especially by midday is a FANTSTIC area. Just being right there by the lake, the grand pavilion and giant wheel overshadowing everything and the vibe and layout of the main rides there work in tandem so beautifully well.

The Mac shack is used for a permanent training classroom for ride operations training.

TTD/TT2 is so amazing looking in person. You can’t get how it looks in person on camera. It looks so much more bigger in person and it’s just so incredible it looks like it was made by aliens or something. It’s a true monstrosity in person.

Im going on Sunday. I can't wait to ride Cedar Downs!

Honestly, TT2 probably only created the tiniest of reduction in the ride lines this weekend for some of the other coasters at the park but it wasn't that significant or it wasn't easy to tell since a lot of rides like Valravn, Raptor, Steel Vengeance, and Rougarou were only running two trains instead of three. Some coasters like Magnum, Blue Streak, and Corkscrew were only running a single train as well and Pipe Scream/Gemini is closed all weekend. So it's just too early in the season to say for sure. I would wait a few weeks. I'll be back on Memorial Day weekend and by then everything should be fully operational. Then it'll be much easier to find out if there were any discernable impact on the other rides in the park. My theory is that it'll be completely negligible because TT2's existence is already creating new and additional demand in the park anyway. That means, although at the start of the day, most coasters and rides will be significantly shorter than they would've been between 2021 and 2023, by the time 2pm around at the park, the crowds would've been much more evenly spread out. Meaning that after 2-3pm, many rides might actually significantly INCREASE in their wait times, especially the ones around the Gemini midway like Corkscrew, Power Tower, Magnum, and Gemini.

Can't wait for my trip for Top Thrill 2, Millennium Force, Raptor Rougarou Gatekeeper Valravn Maverick Steel Vegeanace, and the best of it is Power Tower both sides.

Haven’t been there since opening, so not sure if Gemini will be open. However, with it being a Saturday I would expect it to be open along with all other coasters. Highly recommend fast lane since the 18th will be very busy with school field trips, and just guests in general. If you want all the coasters a fast lane would probably be necessary!

The TT2 area is so nice and well done that is almost makes all of the other areas feel kinda empty and dull now. With Snake River closed, the rest of the Gemini midway just loses a lot of charm. Even the revamped/refurbished Frontier Town is looking a little meh in comparison.

It's funny--people started complaining when Cedar Point was adding a bunch of restaurants between 2020 and 2023 but then when they close down places like Melt, Johnny Rockets, Wild Turnip, and Chick Fil-A or they take C&P off the dining plan, people complain even harder. It's like, damn people just love to just REACT before thinking. The total number of restaurants and/or the size of the offerings available hasn't dramatically changed much.

Earlier in June won’t be as busy, but rides will be more consistent later in june, and you get night rides. Up to you! I would recommend later in June.

Honestly, go whenever the stay at Breakers is cheapest. If the price is exactly the same, I would do the first week in June. Yeah the park isn't open as long but it should be less busy.

@@ThousanWhite unfortunately the week of June 17th is fully booked. That was the first week of 10pm closing. And I’ve heard the later the worse it is. First weekdays of June really that different than later weekdays in June? It’s just a really tough decision. Also if Steele vengeance was closed any days I go I might actually cry.

Do you think I'll be able to park at cedar point shores tomorrow? or will I have to park in the main parking lot

Love the chan! CP regular went opening day first time last year...never again. Melt was overpriced for mediocre food with bad service,imo
