What's JetBlue Like In 2023?
RARE! In this video I fly on an airline I haven't flown on in years. Join me on a jetBlue A320 for a short but detail-oriented flight from North Florida to South Florida on a very special airplane! What was the experience like? Watch to find out!

I am a big fan of special liveries and give JetBlue a lot of credit for coming up with this “retro” livery. So cool and unique!

JetBlue was originally supposed to be called "Taxi" with yellow airplanes, but the FAA wouldn't allow "Taxi" to be an airline name for obvious reasons.

What are the obvious reasons?
@PeterMasella

I think that the word "taxi" is used by airport controllers to tell aircraft to taxi so calling an aircraft taxi would be too confusing. For example "Taxi 346, taxi via Alfa Echo".

Wrong. The name Taxi was rejected by JPMorgan helping fund Jetblue while they were getting started.

I usually fly to FLL once a year. I grab the seat pretty much where you are seated, in the back and on the right. I live seeing the wing action and view of the coast. This year, I'm flying into PBI. Much calmer airport for sure. Going on Delta too.

This gave me a MUCH better opinion about JetBlue Peter. I would feel a lot better about taking one of their flights now. I only have one question; Are you brave enough to try Spirit? 😱
@PeterMasella

If Spirit fit my schedule, there would be no reason not to fly it and I have flown Spirit in the past! I flew on jetBlue because it operated on the route that I needed to fly on during the times I need to fly.

According to the current departure list (for 5/2/23) on my flight tracker app the only a.m. JetBlue flights out of JAX are those going to New York & Boston. There is one flight to FLL that departs at 6:29pm so it looks like they either reduced their # of flights to FLL or just changed from an a.m. flight to a p.m.

Don’t know if you noticed when you were landing or editing the vid, but the aircraft had a halo effect that surrounded its shadow and you could see from 13:50 until there’s no more clouds.

I flew JB for the first time last year going from EWR-LAX and back on a beautiful A321neo. After that flight I'm a JetBlue convert! Legroom was great and service was excellent. My favorite JetBlue livery is the red FDNY plane.

Hello! Thank you for your great review! I'm 6"3, and you said leg room was good without upgrading to more roomy seats. I don't know how tall you are, but do you think the normal economy leg room will be sufficient for me?

Wow, jetBlue being 23 years old ... makes me feel nice, and fossilized. 😂 (Actually, began feeling fossilized on my last jetBlue flight where the FA told us (probably correctly) that the Embraer190 was "old" and being retired soon 😂 Actually, can't wait, seeing that the A220s look amazing.)

@@kevingreen5793 There are a lot of jokes in the industry, especially from Flight Attendants, that you need to stay away from pilots. As with most things, and as a pilot, I can tell you that there is a kernel of truth about that. I think part of this is just jealousy, but the profession does attract a very specific type of personality, and I plead guilty...
Once I was flying from RDU to Charlotte and per my itinerary, my flight time was 2 and half out which shocked me but actually it turn out like 45 minutes. I don't how that mistake happened but I have seen like that. Bottom line, your video is as always the Best.
