1. Thin plastic ruler for underlining some verses. 2. One sheet of paper which has a Bible reading plan 3. A precious little get-well marker/card my son, who died at 24, made for me when he was 8. 4. That's it!

Wow amazing to hear you keep that card from your son in there!

Hi Jesse, This way I get to see it every day. He (Daniel) was so proud of it, and it's a tender, honey-sweet memory. I'm grateful for it. Thanks for your reply -- blessings.
I carried dust, I have to read it more and your Channel has inspired me. Keep doing what you are doing.
I started carrying a Micron Pen & sticky notes in my Pitt Minion 'Everhard' style. It has really helped my reading, study, and devotion having these extra things at hand.
Interesting video.... finally your "Pitt" is starting to show some wear... I keep: postits, sticky tabs, a temple for underlining and marking, a bible reading plan, pictures, etc. ... no bullitins.. lol The blank pages are no longer blank.. lol My micron pens I keep in a separate pouch that travels with my bible. A LONG, Long, long time ago as a very young man - child actually - my grandfather taught me that my bible was a tool to be used for studying, teaching and spreading the gospel. I am very glad to see that others think that way too... lol
I know I'm over three years late, but the term for adding a page that you were looking for is "tipped in"
I don't know why but, watching Bible related videos and people on KZread sharing their walk with their Bibles really brings me joy and motivates me spiritually to spend time with my Bible too. May the LORD bless you all lovely people out there. Praise the LORD 🙏🏼 😊
Dear Rev. Matthew Everhard, I appreciated your closeup view into your Bible. Thank you. Very useful items therein; therefore, very inspiring as well. It is amazing how much your little Bible contains. For me, I have a love for book markers, so these are useful when I hear a sermon to put them in where needed and also not loose my own places. I also use at times sheet magnifiers. I have written a couple of classic hymns in back pages, written things I never want to forget, pasted things inside, and did artwork therein, but I do have a number of Bibles so things like this are spread out in them. God bless you in Jesus' Name.
The reusable post it tabs! Thanks for turning me on to those!
Thanks for the video brother. I'm fixing to buy "The valley of vision".

That's awesome Justin! I just requested it as a Christmas gift. I love the audio version on the RefNet app.
I have a mechanical pencil instead of a pen, as I'd rather not make permanent marking too soon and regret my mistake. Also in some cases, extra cash/check in an envelope for those days when I forget to bring them for Sunday tithe/ offering -- I rarely carry cash these days.
It’s nice to see how the calf split leather ages. I think it looks nice.
I place my bible in a bible cover or “bible suitcase“. Some of the covers come with a note pad, pens, and sticky note pad. It’s probably not the best for your expensive Bible, but will protect it during rain, falling in a gutter and the forbidden “ left my bible on the dashboard “ heresy.
Maybe keep the yellow lined paper or the Field Guide stuck/clipped under the pen, so it doesn't wear the cover. You need to take the pen off to use them, anyway. : )
I keep Post It notes with verses I’m memorizing or applying and Martin Luther’s evening prayer. I like your prayer routine!
I keep the Charles Stanley monthly devotion and mission cards of missionaries so I can pray for them and my notes of what bible veres to show Mormons and Jehovah wittness I used to be mormon but by the grace of our Lord and savior jesus i am washed by the blood of Jesus
I don't have anything in my bible, but I do have a mini notebook in my pocket at all times and in there I stapled my reading plan so I can check it off as I read through the bible. I also always have a pen holder with 3 pens and a pencil in my other pocket. I use a blue ballpoint to mark up my ESV Journaling bible in the lined margins on the sides, and in my bible cover for that old falling apart bible I keep a notebook for all my sermon notes. I got sick of having my sermon notes on the loose leaf pages provided by my church as they're easy to lose. Thanks for the great video! Always cool to see another's set up!

@cindybin2001 I'm sorry but we do not agree on that at all.
Those prayer and reading charts are neat! Please teach us these!
Have nothing as of yet but that little field notes book was the answer to my prayers. I will use those as tip-ins in doing my bible studies. Fantastic!
I have a big purse w hich helps my Bible stay emptier LOL! the Bible I carry to church and Bible studies (mostly) I sometimes fold over the handouts and put in there temporarily but other things I washi tape in place so they don't fall out - I have an invite aka 'summons' from my 87 yr old aunt to come up for a fish fry the Saturday before Easter last year (handwritten), 2 pics from a trip to Isreal - one with my senior pastor preparing Holy Communion at Emmaus and another the statue at St Peter's Primacy and both are in the Scripture where they occur - and some things i wrote out and stuck in Galatians from Bible study and a sticky note on one of the Psalms from a book I was reading that said 'waiting on the Lord is no nail biting exercise in self management' :-) now my purse has baggie of pens, pencils, bulletins til I clear them out, notebook...sometimes another Bible LOL! and Sunday school book...
Love videos like this. Always interesting. For me, I carry a black or blue micron. I have a sticky pad in the back for notes, my bible reading plan, a prophecy chart, gospel tract, and a plan of salvation sheet. I need those reusable tabs though. Going to look now.
I use a Bible cover to put my Bible in. Any extra sheets I've printed I stick in the cover. Everything else I keep separate. I carry pens, highlighters, rulers for writing in Bible in a pen zippered case. I also carry a notebook for notes and then go through notes at a later date to decide what I would like to transfer into my Bible.
That is called "tipping in".
Ive been waiting for a video like this! This is great. Can you help me create a prayer list?

the best!
Wow! That tiny Bible holds a lot! I am thinking of getting kind of these little guys for certain birthdays... Teo are over 21, so they get theirs this year, the other three will get their’s on their 21st. birthdays... I hope.,
I carry pretty light. Just a pen and my M’cheyne reading plan folded in the back to keep track of my reading for the year. That’s abour it.
I tend not to mark up my Bible much. Sometimes I will tip in a photocopy cut to the size of the pages that covers how the Bible covers one of some controverted points. I also like to tip in my prayers before reading Scripture. Not much besides that and, less permanently, an offering envelope and/or church service programme.
My bibles are filled with narrow brightly colored ribbons marking passages I have highlighted or underlined. MikeInMinnesota
I have the 10 commandments, the apostles creed, the names of the Apostles, scripture to memorize (not so good at this), info on a men’s prayer team, M’Cheyne’s Bible Reading Plan, a couple of pens,
I use the ESV thinline bible, cowhide leather cover (with flap and strap)...I keep a pen in mine. (It has a built in pen loop)I also taped an envelope to the inside back cover with several English and Spanish million dollar bill gospel tracts. I also have a subject reference sheet I created.

You could clip your pin on the orange cover of your field notebook in back.....?
Yeah, I have all kinds of reusable sticky tabs from Dollar Tree in mine. I also like to keep a pen on mine too.
Oh wow. Never thought of it that way before. Thanks Matt. Let me find out.
Would you be able to email me a PDF of your Bible reading plan that you showed in the back of your Bible? That thing looks like a tremendous help!
Great video Matt!

Thanks Terry!
I have a world bible school study edition journaling bible and 2 king James version Bible and a Spanish Bible as well can I write in all of them with a micro tip brush pen
Have you ever considered getting your pitt interleaved? I found a company on facebook that'll do it for $200, including genuine leather cover.
All the births and deaths of family and where they are buried
Love this Matt!!!
Can you send me the link for the Bible reading tracker? I want to know and learn more.
BTW: is there such a thing as a Westminster Confession in "modern English ?" MikeInMinnesota
Well kinda like a note book but my Bible has like no margins so I write down on a notebook or if I don’t have a lot to write down a sticky not but I rip page outof the notebook and stick it into my bible
Hey Pastor Matt! How do you travel with your wide margin Bible? or rather do you take it everywhere?
Is it still going strong or have you replaced with same one
If you only could have three Bibles (minus the Greek and the Hebrew texts) what three Bibles would you choose to have in your library?
Thanks for this! I've been watching you for a year or so and finally added the sticky tabs and the field book to my pitt minion (already used the microns for a long time). Wow, has that field book been handy within just a week of having it clipped in. How long do the sticky tabs seem to stay sticky for you?
I have paper in mine.
is the Heidelberg a catholic prayer?
Which Bible translation is this?
DO you preach from the pitt on the regular? What is your preaching bible? I have a pitt coming and I am thinking about making the WM and the pitt by my work horses. I am a pastor always great to hear what others preach from.

I have many times, but lately I am preferring larger fonts and verse by verse formats. I always teach studies and lessons (non-sermon occasions) from my wide margin though since I know where everything is much better.

Thanks. I’m moving that way with the Wide Margin too.
PD... I wish I could see well enough to pen one.
Pastor you are revealing your little warrior pitt too early. January is yet to come😉.... But still good to see Pitt in good condition.👍
Matt, why dont you use Bible covers and totes?
Was your binding coming apart in the front of the Bible at all? I purchased one a month ago and have used it everyday and the first few pages are already tearing
One thing I know as a fact: We are both carrying the exactly same kind of pen.:)
