@@tempeenak134 Like many phones. However, with this form factor they should be able to put the battery on the other side. Most likely it increases assembly time since it can't just be dropped in like most of the other components and it would need an additional plate in between it and the screen for the adhesive strips to go. Still, the effort would have been nice to see.

Do you have any microstutters on performance mode every 10 to 15 seconds? It’s not a lag, but it’s like a brief moment of fps drop as the portal and ps5 try to sync with each other. The pa5 outputs at 59.94 hz, whereas the portal outputs at 60 causing a screen stutter

Can anyone tell me what is the point of every device nowadays gluing down the battery and making it as hard as possible to get access to it? It feels like 10 years ago that was never an issue. The Portal is no exception and they could have made the battery so much easier to replace without sacrificing anything. I don't get it.

@@HishamX On devices like this, when the battery dies the only way to replace it is by using a heat gun and disassembling most of it. You will also need two sets of adhesives, one for the new battery and one for the screen. Meanwhile the device could have a cover to make the battery easily accessible because its shape can accommodate it without affecting its form. I don’t understand why Sony and most other manufacturers nowadays wont design their devices like this.

Sony should allow PS portal to connect to PS Plus Cloud gaming. It would be a game changer. If your in a large city and your got a recent smartphone and a good Mobile data plan which allows high speeds and a lot of data for tethering. Those that meet those requirements could play PS Cloud games anywhere they have good 4GLTE or 5G cell coverage. No PS5 required. Unfortunately old wrinkly, should have retired 30 years ago Japanese dudes think that this would prevent people from buying PS5 consoles. I think it could get even more people to buy PS5 so they can download those games and play them off cloud in high quality 4K graphics.
