Never thought what a speed runner has in their vault as I basically don't care for speed runs. However, as it is an aegis video, there will still be a lot of good information told

I'm at 0:12 currently, and I am prepared to see the most random niche weapon rolls that are used for a very small part of a short raid encounter. @ me if I was wrong.

Great video. I like how well you explain the value of certain attributes like spike grenades and emphasize getting better with a certain type of roll versus chasing every weapon roll.

This year I wanna learn all about speedrunning in D2 and I just found u.. and wow ur like a book that has all the info u need for speedrunning. That’s awesome. Love ur Speedrunning breakdowns bro 🔥🔥

love these kinds of videos! i like how you have a reason for weapons I never would have thought to use no matter how niche, not too keen with most speedrun things nowadays but hearing how some things like salvations grip, xeno, ex dris etc. all have some use is definitely interesting to me and kinda gives a new perspective to these weapons. some no matter how niche or useless to some, will always have some use somewhere else.

Aegis, as a vow farmer, I've used a lot of the information your videos have encased. It has genuinely made me a better player. Thank you for being a reliable source of information, and being so thorough.

For anyone who's watching this who isn't interested in starting to speedrun but was curious enough to watch the video: The weapon rolls/encounter techniques speedrunners use can still be helpful in normal level content. A good example would be: a good strategy I learned for Solo Flawless Prophecy was a way to dunk a single mote in to two spots for first encounter to get to boss dps faster so there was less risk of dying on the way. I still do this strat to speed up first encounter in LFGs despite already having the emblem I wanted.

I have an endgame spreadsheet in my drive folder with pref. perks for every special/power weapon

Fwiw, unsure if it's noted in a recent patch notes blog or anything but they did add "Shoot to loot" onto the crafted version of Retraced Path.

With the most recent patch retraced paths aswell as the other weapons have their old perks in their pools again

Prior to their Change i loved using Tarrabah with the 'Path of Burning Steps'. Made it really easy to gain a good amount of damage to use Ravenous Beast on a high health target. (Also good with Vex Mythoclast).. i miss old PoBS

I was watching your stream the other day and was wondering why is yours empty considering you do a lot of testing and other stuff, took a screen shot and decided to clean my vault... went from 600 -> 292 For weapons I deleted a ton of crafted and unused 1600 weapons, most of my vault was me saying "but what if bungie buff x perk or y frame?" and kept hoarding weapons ever since. For armor I sat one day and made every possible build that I'd use for each character, only made 6 builds per character and left 4 empty for speedrun hotswaps.

Imagine some dude loading into last wish with a whole inventory of apex predators with different rolls lmao

Great video. I’ve really wanted to see a video like this for a while. Quick question, how do you manage ammo when you are doing double special? I’ve heard you mention a few times that you very rarely use primary ammo weapons. With the nerf to double specials ammo economy I find it hard to run it. Is there a set of mods you use to maintain your ammo?

Not Aegis, but from a "casual, small-brain perspective," I find double special can work if (1) you have Special Finisher mod (plus some decent orb gen mods), and (2) two of your weapons have good ammo economy. E.g., run a machine gun and a trace, a trace and the rocket pistol, etc. Aegis and others can def give better help for more "optimal" play, but that's what I've found helps

This video was really really helpful. The weapon tier lists are great, but this was almost like a cliff notes version of "what are REALLY the most useful weapons in the game and why?" Thanks!! I did have one question: In terms of kinetic slot shotguns for major chunking, do you think Heritage or Until It's Return has the edge? Not for a melee build or anything, just general purpose "I'm playing a dungeon and need to kill yellow bars asap" gameplay. I don't have the Heritage pattern yet and I'm wondering if it's worth the grind

Good question! They're both very similar, but UIR has better burst / total within the burst while Heritage has much better ammo economy if you use it sparingly shot for shot with Recombination. That is to say, both are good for different things! I will say, I haven't used Heritage in a while though...

40:28 tf2 see once we get new mountaintop, we need a glaive that looks like a shovel to pair with that to make the ultimate tf2 loadout. I do actually just use a dangerzone bipod rocket as my general GM rocket, due to the ability to both rocket jump (very fun) and the fact i can just shoot my feet to kill adds without dying and/or be able to kill a massive pile of adds much quicker, since they all die to 1 rocket bc large blast radius. granted, its probably way less useful than another rocket, but its nice in lfgs and rocket jumping is just fun lol

Nice video, pretty small number of weapons. The only questionable roll I saw is slideshot/bipod crux for GMs. If you ever try it I think you will shard it. Recon/bipod does it better.
