dude i watched all parts so far and my damage has improved so well, my friend uses arbalest and hothead with cc and demo (hes mainly a wellock), while i was using just witherhoard and a hothead, your tips have improved my dps so much and with the weapon rotation for nezzy i used broodweaver warlock with necro grips, explosive light and demo hothead and witherhoard, i used surges, reserves etc etc. i out damaged my whole team with 5.2m damage bro i love it

CLARIFICATIONS / CORRECTIONS: - For Kell Echo, there are no nearby enemies to proc RDMs off if you're Gjally doing damage from teleport, so use Sixth if you want to swap off SES instead. - Sunbracers and Dimensional no longer work on Riven effectively post-projectile bounce change; Surrounded Apex Predator under her chin is used instead. - The GotD bosses have less aggressive movement as a result of breaking their shields quickly, not because of Deadfall.

Its hard to find videos with this much useful information after so many years in this game. As a veteran, I can say that this video is a must for everyone. Keep up with the great work, god bless.

Bro you've helped skyrocket my damage so hard. I ran the star eaters/RDMs loadout with apex and got 5.5 mil in 2 damage phases with rhulk, and we didnt have gjally. Shit blew my mind. Did like half the guy's health alone in 2 phases with no gjally nor damage buff like radiant. I can only imagine how easy a one phase rhulk is if everyone was effecient

really good work, was fun to watch! Never knew about waveframe GL strategy for riven's leg. And never killed daughters simultaneously. For Ecthar Deep's dungeon we can use (Conditional finality + Nessa obligation) shotguns as harmonic resonance work with them. Or Briar's contempt linear with Surrounded full buff/debuff and seasonal artefact mod, can shoot more than ~3x(67-100)k per shot.

One small thing that i discovered while farming nez, if you have needlestorm and shoot it right before nez debuffs u, cancelling the animation but not the needles that will hit him like usual, u will have ur super again and can use it right after it or whenever u need, so yeah u can throw two supers or even infinite as u just need to predict the slam attack that debufs

for dsc first and second encounter i can recommend parasite. its a oneshot with x20, and two shot without. on atraks it also does a lot of damage.

I’ve been following this series since it started, I’m so grateful that KZread recommended this to me! I have one question though. It’s only something small, but you mentioned for the harpy boss in GoS that it moves after projectiles and supers. Doing the raid a lot I’ve noticed that when I thundercrash or a few of us thundercrash at the same time, it really makes the boss go crazy. I wasn’t sure if maybe this was coincidence with other things being used at the same time or that thunder crash is also an inefficient super to use? Thank you!

Atraks fr is the easiest raid boss to take down. From my experience with 3-manning dsc, all it takes is 2 cuirass titans and up to 3 max stack parasites to get Atraks down to final stand (with surges only, no raid mods). That info was very useful for farming the heritage and succession when we didn't want to lfg.

Have you ever tried HHSN with contraverse hold for verity's. I don't know if it is enough damage as I can't really test it but it could be useful in encounters with more warlocks and limited ads. Charge, release, quickly throw a magnetic grenade, shoot rocket (demolitionist), reload (or not if 2 in magazine), shoot another rocket, Charge; is an ok rotation. You may not fire a second rocket in favour of a swap combo. Applies to scatter grenades obviously as well but they might not do as much. Also leaves room for a Nova bomb and a budget debug option with echo of undermining. Great guide btw. I'll take a look at this when I need to know what is the best to do.

This spreadsheet is absolutley fantastic and i think im going back to previous videos with it like a study aid. You have put together a masterpiece in this series. If i may ask one more question to make sure im reading the sheet correctly.... optimum stat rolls would be listed from top to bottom, ie Acasias Dejection, its prefereable to have reconstruction frenzy, over reconstruction target lock. And if this is what you're talking about when you mentioned explaining spreadsheets in yiur next video i can wait till then too. Thank you for the response, the videos and especially the time.

Hey, question about the Boss Damage spreadsheet, specifically the Sequencing tab. Why do most of the grenades thrown in the rotations there have a Time value greater than the damage source that comes after? e.g. Izi Slug Apex's threadling grenades all seem to happen 0.017s later than the Apex shots listed immediately after them. I would assume that the actions in a given DPS rotation would be listed in order of ascending time, since that's literally the order they would happen in (e.g. Xeno RDM's shots all happen exactly half a second apart other than when there's a dodge). Thanks as ever! I'm in a rush or I'd try to come up with additional pertinent questions LOL

I would *personally* have been less confused if Time measured "time of input" and not "time the boss takes damage from the thing you just did," though I guess that introduces a level of error into the calculation side of things that is probably not desirable--still, given the answer to the question of "how long is the delay between firing a rocket and the boss taking damage from the rocket" is "depends on the velocity and the distance from the boss," that sort of also muddles things, right? If grenade (and presumably rocket) damage is measured at the time of impact and not at the time of input, can I ask how you standardize the delay between input and impact, if at all? Is it just an average based on your Templar test attempts? And considering the two grenades that made it onto the spreadsheet (Threadling and TOF Fusion), do you count up to, say, the TOF fusion's direct-impact on the boss? Or the final hit? I hope these are good questions LOL. I got a lot of mileage out of broodweaver rotation here (albeit I couldn't reproduce Thread of Generation's effectiveness, but the idea still worked okay), and Bns Apex dump blew the rest of my clan out of the water the one time I was able to do it on a random Vow run, so thanks for giving me ammo to tell the clan to put down Thunderlord :D

Time to require all of these in lfg’s expecting people to actually get them to work, wipe for damage when the boss is at 1% health on every boss, kicking the person with the least damage, and still never one phasing because it’s lfg and people can’t even left click properly. -The entire destiny community after this video……. SOMEHOW

Great video! However, I’m curious, at 29:40 you say that 6 warlocks are required for the skip, but Hunters are also able to make it over using a shatterskate and swapping to blink midway, how come they are not used?

I miss the days of whisper being a godly DPS option

I mainly do solo stuff, and survivability is the biggest thing for me. I really cant understand how people survive so well in even scaled content while trying to full focus on rotations to get the most out of a solo damage phase. For example on Ogre in grasp of avarice on normal. I cant focus on swapping on arc titan, while the scortch canon guy and his buddies shoot at me, also not mentioning the boss with his void orbs, but i can hid from those for the most part. Even then though the fallen throw their shock sticks and kill me. My gear isnt helping either if im running a feild prep hothead its just another thing to think about. Any tips?

For solo content in particular if you are focused on consistency using something like Sunbreaker instead of Striker might net you better results, plus the constant Radiant uptime is a nice plus when it comes to damage

The only known nerf is that they want to fix the extra heavy drops you get, which should make the ammo economy situation scarier if you don't one-phase, but rockets have plenty of total damage anyway sooooo

I just need bungie to do 2 things. Allow Titans to bring in unique strats for speedrunning again and to have more exotics like Verity's, RDM, and RoF exist through all 3 classes. Not fun being a Titan main for DPS and we've seen basically every DPS strat get nerfed to oblivion. I think NBPs with shotties is in the ball park of allowing Titans to bring a unique element to DPS. Just need a little bit more love. Not even for just speedrunning strats but for some optimal DPS strats. Just want more variety than Curiass. It's just not nearly as engaging as some of the other strats are the other classes have and what Titans have had in the past. RIP Synthoceps/Glaive.

Optimal DPS strategies are downstream from speedrunning, so there's a natural connection there. However, I do start every section by talking about how an average player could get the best damage results in general, not accounting for speedrunning factors.

EVERYONE WAKE UP THE GOAT DROPPED

Do armor mods like the Blessing/Curse in LW, Relay Defender in GoS, and Focused Light in RoN stack with Surges? Do mods that increase ability damage like Focused Darkness increase the weapon damage of a Warlock in their Well? (Similar to how the final boss of Spire took extra damage from a Warlock in their Well)

Corolla has a video on it - you desync by cancelling barricade animation with Hammer of Sol, then you slam on one daughter, but the game thinks you haven't, so when you resync as your super ends, you slam on the other daughter, thus tricking the game into thinking you've slammed on both at the same time. Since you've obtained both auras at the same time, you die instantly.
