What's in the pouch? A look through some of the camp cooking extras I take with me.
While waiting for my pasta to cold soak, I take a little root through my Fjallraven gear pouch. This holds the extra bits I use for my outdoors cooking. This wasn't everything in the bag and it changes from trip to trip.

If on the trail or just walk about its always good to sit down for a meal and have what you need especially a spice wheel.😊

You’re my hero!
I carry most of those things when im out and about but use The Nomads Kitchen "Nomads Kitchen" which offers lots of herbs and spices along with knife, lighter, oil etc. And a microfibre teatowel I slip in with my stove to stop things clinking together in my pack! Pouches sound awesome!

I do live the nomad kitchen set. I have the smaller spice rack version. I’m looking forward to the pouches. Same ol’ pouch. But done differently.
Nice to see you back Thom 🎉 I also carry a small bottle of dishwashing liquid - because cleaning a greasy pan without some form of soap is such a pain 😂

A great addition. I don’t always have it depending on my trip. Nice to see ya!
100% with you on the Ferro Rod, I carry one as it's bullet proof but would always prefer windproof matches or a lighter 👍. I've also got an orange microfiber cloth as well, easy to find if you drop it! 😉

I love orange for that reason. I even chose my sleeping bag because the inside was orange. Great for emergencies
Cheers Thom, great music on another inspiring video. Can’t wait for your pouches!

The cookbook looks fantastic and the recipes so doable, like your cous-cous, dahl and croissant ones I’ve enjoyed previously. I’m looking forward to you cooking on the Trangia micro!

It’ll be a little way off as I’m trying to find all of my knives that have dispersed over various house moves and the like! Let me know if you need any advice on getting a knife etc.
Hi Tom, have now got my spice (pill box) all sorted! Fantastic idea from you thanks. I’d send you a pic but I don’t think I can? 👍
