Thanks for watching! If you're wondering what I ended up using, I used everything apart from anything that was for a natural vaginal birth because I ended up being induced and then had an emergency c section. I also didn't use anything for my baby because he went straight to NICU. More in my birth story/postpartum video if you're interested.

I was a second time mum last year in June, and I can definitely recommend Ural and the flushable wipes ! I used them both with both children during my hospital stays and at home, so for all those worried about going to the toilet after baby, these two things will definitely help ! They helped me ! ☺️

Tip for Aussie mums. You dont need to hunt down the Tuck's witch hazel pad things. Just go to woolies and buy a bottle of witch hazel in the make up/face care isle and then squirt it on your pads everytime you change them. Works well and will likely cost less.

You can buy wipes from the pharmacy that are used for haemorrhoids too and on the packet it even says for use in pregnancy and postpartum

How exciting for you and Phil - packing your bag must be making things start feeling really surreal now! You are way more prepared than I was at my hospital stay - one thing that I was grateful I brought was a blanket from home. I gave birth in summer too, but I found the aircon in hospital was quite cold and having a small blanket on top of what they give you was so useful (and reminded me a bit of feeling like I was at home). And don’t worry too much about the pain - it doesn’t last long and you’ll be filled with so many happy hormones with bubba it won’t be your focus xox All the best with everything and looking forward to seeing your journey with your little one! 😍

Every hospital differs I have one of my children at a different hospital and they had a pack of nappies, wipes, maternity pads and clothes and blankets for the baby all waiting on the bed when you were moved to the maternity ward. The hospital for all my other kids doesn’t supply anything ha ha they were both public hospitals.

Great vid! You had a lot of stuff! Any chance you can add a list in the description of the video or on a google sheet which lists everything you did end up using? No worries if not but would be good to know what proved essential. My Mrs is 5 weeks out so we're getting prepped! Thanks again!
