Thanks! I used to carry so much more gear, but I think it’s down to a manageable amount now.

your backup flash > the main flash haha, the v1 is amazing oh and i'd try and put liquids like hand sanitizer, etc outside of main compartment just in case cabin pressure or liquid seeps out so it won't endanger your equipment

How'd you get into shooting red carpet events? (Like Sundance, etc) How would one go about getting into it?

i have the A7RV now and its a great blend of the A7iv and A7RIII. I sold the A7IV when I got the RV as I already have a second body. The RV is smoother and starts up instant, even faster than the A1. I sold a few things but absolutely love those baseplates since i never use the battery grip. The wrist straps are great for street photography and thieves. and last but not least, the 70-200 GMII is a gem and I sold my Nikon Z equivalent and just use the adapter.

Wow, crazy that they made so many improvements in the RV already. I’m *really* tempted to trade in my RIII for the RV, but also curious about what the A9III will bring.

@@Gemini_Connect yes, it never stops with Sony. One thing I wanted in the RV was the crop ability I missed once with the RIV. One thing I didn’t like much with the A9II. The A7IV you have is a great mp point at 33. I wanted to keep mine, but couldn’t justify it as I needed the funds to help with the RV. The AI in the RV is great and I find myself using it more because of the screen. I use it or the Z9 mostly with the 50, 24-70 or the one I just got used, the 12-24 GM. I just shot an event with the RV and my beat up A1. AF seems about the same working with a speed light off camera. The GMs work just as good on the Z9 with the megadap.

Great video! Do you think you could ever settle on a two lens setup, like the 20-70 f/4 and a 135mm fast prime instead of the 70-200?

That’s a great question. I’d love to find a cheaper and more lightweight telephoto to replace the 70-200, but haven’t found one yet. I’ve strongly been considering the Tamron 35-150, but I hear it’s still pretty big and heavy.
