Agreed. Passing was the wrong thing to do. They just probably just needed a few more moments to get it.

I was waiting for him to say "pastry, triangle" but instead he used all his words to try to get them to "ice cream cone" which wouldn't have magically made them go back and try "scone." Maybe he imagined they'd say "ice cream's cone" but who would say that?

They were totally robbed of golden goose and Rex choked. Looked deliberate. 😡

She said "Golden..... goose...." but he should have indicated to repeat it "together." Instead she didn't say it again 'cause she had already said it.

I was thinking something very similar! "Opposite feet, opposite up." The tricky thing is it only works with guesser who are really good listeners.

They should've won it. It was so easy. Who doesn't know a scone is a British pastry? His partner knew it.🤦‍♂️

How is gamble the same as gambling? The word is NOT pronounced gamble-ing, so the word gamble is not said in gambling. They should not have gotten credit for that. Especially since they didn't give the girl credit for golden goose because of the pause. Rex blew that one, though. He's slow anyway, and he just stopped. It's nice to see smug old Rex choke since they weren't going to win anyway.

According to Merriam-Webster, it's common for the pronunciation of "gambling" to include the pronunciation of "gamble" in it.

@@fdsfsdfsd1552 Nah....I looked it up, too. Even if it's common, it doesn't make is so. It is a two syllable word, even according to Merriam-Webster, so if you pronounce the word "gamble-ing," it becomes a three syllable word. I'm not buying it.

But she didn't know why he'd give five clues for "ice cream cone" and "vanilla ice cream cone" when them saying "cone" wouldn't have counted and they wouldn't have imagined they shouldbend that into "scone."
