We're talking about the kinds of people who didn't realize killing off Optimus Prime was a big deal... Tone deaf , Money hungry, cheap scapes, without a creative bone in their body, with 0 emotional investment doesn't even begin to describe the mishandling show and toy wise that is leading to the downfall of many beloved IP's...

@@IsiahTomas Especially when they decided a Guy obsessed with Movies and Transaction filled "Video Games" is the best guy to put in charge of a Toy/Table top Company And as expected here we are with this guy wanting to do what he knows and turn everything into a milkable digital media only franchise, while leaving physical Toy and tabletops to the wayside for "other" companies to rent out to fund their projects...

I agree you don't have to get 40 plus episodes. Ultraman has been at 25 for a while, and it helps the budget a lot. However, IF you're starting from scratch more episodes you have the easier it is to set up characters. Which CF does not have to worry about. Since CF is basically a 3rd season of DF its not fair to compare it to other toku shows that start over every year.

Yeah, it's per-established though how they plan to end 30 years of continuity cause Cosmic Fury is set in the main universe where MMPR - Jungle Fury, Samurai, Megaforce, Ninja Steel, and Beast Morphers take place.

I'll stick with Super Sentai. King-Ohger has been an amazing season.

If you want something that holds us for a while during this hiatus, read the Power Rangers boom comics, they’re some of the best content we had in years. From complex stories, to fully fleshed out characters, badass original ranger designs like the Omegas, and higher stakes like in the current saga, Darkest Hour.

Well I guess this is the end of sentai adaptations, it was fun while it lasted

Not sure if that's the exact case.

I'm pretty much writing a story that would be considered a spiritual successor to the Power Rangers franchise and it's my love letter to tokusatsu superheroes and traditional western superheroes alike. I've had the idea in my head since I was 14.

I'm honestly sick of these 10 episode "seasons" studios try to sell us. I miss 20-ish episode seasons. It also just doesn't feel like enough time to wrap up the Power Rangers series.

I doubt the reboot will make a difference.

Its one thing to pause the show but to pause the toyline is a dumb decision. The Lightning collection caters to old seasons, so what does a lack of new season have to do with the lightning collection?

Truth be told, I really don't know what's going to happen after Cosmic Fury. I truthfully don't know since Hasbro really doesn't see Power Rangers as top priority. I probably will take a break from Power Rangers for a while. If there's anything I am interested Power Rangers wise is the comics. I probably may need to start collecting them.

I highly recommend reading the comics. The stories the team has done are great, from Shattered Grid to Unlimited Power to the current saga they’re doing right now, Darkest Hour.

What I'm really curious about is the future of the ZAP line. Like, I want more of the older Megazords re done. Obviously, that line has its own issues. But I feel like that's the only way we get new versions of lines like RPM or Dino Thunder.

There hasn't been a confirmation so far as to what exactly Hasbro's doing next with PR.

If Power Rangers were to outright end once Cosmic Fury is over, I'd be okay with that. 30 straight years of televised content is an impressive run for a show aimed primarily at children.

I'm fine if Power Rangers goes on break. I don't want it to do a scrubs season 9 or just keep going and loses steam or what gives it purprose or meaning. A hiatus would be a good opportunity for it to stop and rethink where to go from here.

Completely agree. Sometimes it may be better to let a good thing rest. I really feel like RPM should've had a solid break after it sometimes.

As soon as Super Sentai makes something Hasbro can actually use, i think they will be all over it. Until then you just have the reboot

Truth to be told, Bandai not including Power Rangers within Super Sentai on their quarter fiscal results anymore was a sign of what was going to happen. Maybe it's me, but Toei deciding to commercialize their toku outside Japan was an implied fatal blow to Power Rangers' continuity as we know. Hopefully the franchise gets paused and rebooted as its own independent thing, but i'm not very optimistic about that.

Every person on earth will be a Power Ranger!! Like and Comment if you wanna be a Power Ranger!! Go go go power rangers!

I think hasbro is making a big gamble with this reboot. Power rangers is based on Sentai and always been. Changing the formula now makes no sense to me. Not saying it will flop but it’s still a gamble

@@dylansharp8471 consider that some of pr fans were excited for the white dragon movie, Hasbro need to learn the hard lessons after the flop of Snake eyes and dungeons & dragons and the disappointment of rise of the beasts. FYI: The sequel of honor among thieves budget must be very low compared to ever happened according to paramount ceo.

They should move back to New Zealand if we are to film new stuff being new zealand loved what power rangers did for the country and their acting industry

3:06 Don't give me hope that there could be a sentai suit that got skipped XD It would just be too perfect. Imagine DonMomotaro getting a quick cameo, that would be amazing! Especially if they keep his personality the same! Actually, no, y'know what I would love? If they have some kind of glitch in a teleporter, or if they do a small montage going to various worlds and then they suddenly do a bad green screen moment where they pop up in the DonBrothers worls like as they're doing a rolecall or something. That would fit the vibes of DonBrothers and Dino/Cosmic Fury so well! But I know they won't do that, so...yeah, don't get ym hopes up. The most we're gonna get with unused sentai suits is Heckyl's morph, which I would still love to see, but I think that's the best we're gonna get when it comes to that sort of thing.

@@dylansharp8471Well, I don’t. I’m just saying that if Heckyl does come back, then it’s most likely we’re gonna get his morph. A suit that Dino Charge fans were waiting for but never came. That’s why I say “the most we’re gonna get is Heckyl’s” because that’s the most likely. Trust me, I’m a huge sentai fan so I would love it if they do bring in other unused suits, and if they do then that’s amazing! But I just don’t see it being very realistic, if you know what I mean. I don’t see them doing more than Heckyl’s. I would love to be proven wrong.

Man, if we only get 3 Cosmic Fury Rangers that will really suck. Hopefully that wasn't a decision made because of the backlash to the new original suit designs (I think they look great, personally). At the very least they should give us the 7 Cosmic Fury Rangers from the season; If we don't get the zords that will suck, but there's always the Kyuranger Super Sentai toy-line for those, so no biggy. But not getting the brand new, original, Cosmic Fury Rangers - designs that don't exist in super sentai, and as a result have no matching toys we can import from Japan instead - that would really really suck. I was also hoping we'd get action figures for the Dino Charge Dark Ranger and the Dino Fury White/Ghost Ranger, as both have cool designs IMO, and I'd like to be able to complete the action figure lines for those power sets, but with this news, it's not looking very promising at all. Most unfortunate. A Heckyl Lightning Collection figure would have been great in particular (Dark Ranger & Snide double-pack, anyone?). Was there ever even a Deathryuger action figure? Might be able to find that as a Dark Ranger substitute if there is one if we're lucky, but we're crap out of luck for the Ghost Ranger. Suppose at least for Zedd we could always get the MMPR Lighting Collection figure from a couple years back instead (though a new toy for the basic toy line would have been nice); If we don't mind forking out the heavy cash for it.

G.I Joe is only popular in US and I do not think modern kids like army themed toys like it either. Along woth the fact people collecting Modern Joe stuff only like early 80's characters but with Transfomers they still remake characters not from G1. Power Rangers still is liked outside US but they do such a poor job selling merch in UK of it if its based on newer series.

And the even funnier thing is, Super sentai (the superior cousin) has King-Ohger stepping into a new chapter being King-Ohger In-space. And the poster is very similar to Cosmic fury

I do wish for a PR reboot series because the PR franchise is a broken mess that needs cleaning up and fixing up. But I don't trust Hasbro because Hasbro has become woke, and their toys have become too expensive. Which is why I wish Hasbro will lose the rights to PR. I also want the reboot to start off with a non-themed PR team as a starting point (PR Denziman) because PR isn't just about on theme but many themes. Otherwise, PR would just be like Voltron, Batman, and/or Spiderman. I also wish the PR logo would go back to the original design with the lightning bolt in the middle.

Look in a video game store for TOY based video games most only can be bought a few years then are impossible to buy at all if Digital only. All the most liked Transformers video games have not been available to buy for over 10 years.
