I don't know about your experience, but I do have a few clients, that's move as your working through a lift process, it's becoming more because of the phone. I don't know how much time I'm spending to reinforce! It's frustrating!

I’d just like to ask , it’s all very well finishing with toners and roote stretches /shadows to blend but surly once these wash out your left with chunky unblended highlight . ? Or are you using something different?

Absulotely. That s why I avoid putting any color for the roots (unless i rly need to) ; a good backcombing technique and/or fine weaves can give a seemless longer lasting result + you don't have to alter your client s natural base and create a multi color mess when their regrowths kicks in ; or put any color that might be harder to lift next time they re do their hair .

Toner doesn't always remove fully, depending on the depth of toner. For example for level 10 highlights, I may use level 8 root tap into 10/ clear ends on wet hair.

well depends on the tonner you're using, as well as how frequently she washes her hair. many times, by the time the root washes out, the regrowth also blends naturally more. of course a seamless highlight application remains the most important factor.
the company Masters of Balayage has the most insane techniques this one called Wet Balayage 3D balayage and so forth. Tacky!!!!
