Enjoy yourself in Jamaica 🇯🇲, I’m Haitian living in south Florida, and here we have people from all over the Caribbean, a lot of my friends are from Jamaica, Trinidad, Guyana, and Grenada, I love the fact that you are exploring the Caribbean very good people, we were dropped off at different lands by the slave ships but now it’s time for us all to reunite with each other and with those in Africa. One love ❤

Surprise! African Tigress, welcome to Jamaica! Oh my goodness, Jamaica is transforming so rapidly. I can hardly recognize some of the places anymore. I think the park where you were is at Parade. I used to visit that park when I was a child, but it looks very different now. I hope you visit Miss Little; she is a nice lady, and when you were there you vibe well with her. I wish you could see some of the cultural aspects of Jamaica. We have some religions in Jamaica that preserve some of their African spirituality. The Pocomania, Revivalist, Kumina, and obeah have aspects of African religious beliefs. There is so much for you see; you would need someone with a car to take you around.

Most people don’t know how beautiful and architectural appealing the old downtown part of Kingston is because the crowd and the over vending on the streets can block out the view. The non government bus strike give us an opportunity to see this. The government of Jamaica and most of the people don’t know what a gem of a downtown they have. Only need to be organize and develop to its former glory

Sir Alexander Bustamante was born on February 24, 1884, the son of Robert Constantine Clarke, a white Jamaican of Irish origin and Mary Clarke (nee Wilson) a Jamaican of mixed blood. Norman Manley and Alexander Bustamante were also cousins. They both were mixed. I always thought Bustamante was white as well. They have either a grandmother or great mother in common.

Another much appreciated video for me. Trust me, I'm taking notes. I haven't been to downtown Kingston since at least 1975, but now I must go check out the new "Art District", the waterfront, etc. Good work again, Tigress. --Æ.

Loved your Haitian contents AT - was amazing. Wish more people could see that part of Haiti the Media never show. Was so happy when you ran into the Haitian gentleman as you started your walk downtown, Kgn. Love this side of Downtown you are bringing us. Keep those coming, showing us a different section of Downtown Kingston. Very interesting. I have memories of it as a child visiting the passport office with mother. Was spectacular then. Nice to see it coming back.

Africa Tigress take a visit to Port Royal in Kingston area. It is the most historic and unique place in Jamaica. It is also a totally crime free residential area in Jamaica. Likely the best place to buy a house in the Kingston region if you can get someone to sell to you.
