Want to know what's happening in Daytona Beach this month! Stick around as we discuss fireworks, dinosaurs and tacos!
1. Where To Watch the Fireworks:
- Daytona Beach: The Bandshell for their summer concert and fireworks series. Alter Eagles will play at 7:15 pm with fireworks following at 9:45 pm. This event is free or you can upgrade to VIP for $15.
- Port Orange: Head to the City Center at 5:30 for food trucks, a car show, kids' zone, live music and more! Fireworks begin at dusk.
- Ormond Beach: Rockefeller Gardens is the place to be from 6:00 - 10:00 pm. Enjoy music, food trucks and other activities with fireworks beginning at 9:30!
- New Smyrna Beach: Riverside Park is hosting an all day event with a fishing tournament from 9-1, hot dogs, prizes, food trucks, concerts and fireworks beginning at 9:15 pm!
2. Gabriel Iglesias: The Don't Worry Be Fluffy tour is coming to the Peabody on July 11th at 8:00 pm. Gabriel Iglesias is a popular stand up comedian with specials on Netflix and KZread. Tickets start at around $50, so contact the box office for more options and seating!
3. Whodunit Murder Mystery: Come solve the mystery of the Emerald Heist at 1000 S. Penisula Dr. Daytona Beach at the Lilian Place Heritage Center. 4. Who doesn't like tacos and margs? Head to Jackie Robinson Ballpark on July 13th from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm for the Daytona Taco and Margarita Fest! This is family friendly event with all the tacos you can eat, a variety of margaritas, kids' activities, over 30 local vendors you can shop and you probably didn't guess it, live pro wrestling. Tickets are $10 in advance or $20 the day of the events. Kids 5 and under are free and if you want to upgrade to VIP it's $45 in advance or $60 the day of.
5. Jurassic Quest: The Ocean Center is hosting Jurassic Quest again this year and it's going to be THE event of the summer. Come help train a raptor, dig for fossils and check out life sized dinosaurs at this fun three day event. The cost for general admission is $22 and kids 2 and under are free. You can see this amazing event on Friday the 26th from 12-6 pm, Saturday the 27th from 9-6pm or Sunday the 28th from 9-5 pm.
