Traumatic event(s) experienced, the thought process for me, was and still is, "I do not want others to feel this pain and stress, so I will not be the cause of stress and pain". From that mindset has come the practicing of positivity, and from that, the awareness to see the light in dark situations. To speak ones mind honestly, unless in doing so causes more harm than good, that is the exception. To only use physical force when nessecary, to protect beings that are being threatened, beings who are in need of genuine help, from other beings who intend to do them harm. Not to play games or to toy with people's minds and emotions. The importantance of loyalty and listening, observing and caring.

Dr Peterson embodies everything a man should aspire to be. I consider myself very fortunate to have been born in the age of the internet - my life would be fundamentally different had I not encountered his videos.

Responsibility isn't a masculine trait, it's a trait of maturity. Also gotta say all these old politicians who pre-date the alleged fall of masculinity often act very irresponsibly themselves. So if they are from an age where masculinity, and by extension responsibility, mattered, and it no longer does- then why do they act the way they do? Hogwash

Pick up the world on your shoulders and walk forward. Pick up the world with all of its trouble, all of it's suffering, with all of it's evil and move forward with it. and in bearing that burden learn that you're that sorta creature that can bear that burden and therefore deserving of respect. That's the Identification with the logos and That's I don't never encountered an idea that's better than that. Because it's so not naive. It's the opposite of naive. It's like there's terrible evil and there's terrible suffering it's bottomless. But the human spirit is capable of voluntarily taking that on as a challenge. Well, It's worth a try.

Fear easily. Love can lead someone to have great duty, drive to nourish and fulfill that love. But Fear is primal. Fear will lead to necessity. Like taking your next breath. Because for not fulfilling what that fear has on you, can mean death.

@@Vunomic Think about it though, what about the people who jumped on grenades and sacrificed their lives for their comrades? You might say they've been trained to do those things, indoctrinated even, but there must be some who did it out of their love for their friends and a need to protect them. Wouldn't that mean that their love for life overpowered their fear of death?

I guess love. Fear can be limited and turned off after a time (when we for example stop to live in fear of a damn flue) and without this motivation of fear some things are not going to be done. Like without fear spread there is no need for lockdown. Only mass fear psychosis enables it. In the places where this mass psychosis of fear was not too much, not overwelming the fear was not enough for people to want to live in lockdown. While love has longer duration than fear. When a mother has to be in labour for 4 days for her child to be born alive its not the fear of her own death which saves the child but her want of this child, her love.
