What Riding a Private Room Luxury Train in Japan is Like

Japanese First Class Train Tour and Experience. Today, I'm riding the Saphir Odoriko Japanese Luxury Train inside of their 6 seater private room from Tokyo to Izukyu-Shimoda, a go-to vacation destination for many Tokyo residents. It's a unique train which offers premium seats with a view, in-train restaurant, and a whole lot more, which I’m going breakdown for you in this video. Saphir Odoriko is a limited express train service in Japan operated by the East Japan Railway Company, Central Japan Railway Company, Izukyu Corporation, and Izuhakone Railway. Saphir is currently quite popular, so I recommend booking the tickets in advance, especially for the private room or premium seats. For the 6 seater private room, I had to book 3 weeks in advance. This train has 2x 6-seater private rooms and 2x 4-seater private rooms and one car that is all premium green seats. This Japanese first-class train has its own restaurant, with its own menu of the perfect blend of delicate Japanese sensibilities and Italian gastronomical skill with local seasonal ingredients.

😲..!By seeing your video,i can only say that i rarely seen such prestigious and brilliant luxury concepted in trains, even inside the fastest and most efficient ones, toward Europe, unless i miss something. The most famous and recknown i've knew this far is the french TGV,wich exists since decades, and apparently redundant, compared to the quality, designs and performances of the railed transport services this government puts at disposal. If i can be sure about apoint,it's that the fundamental policies ruling Japanese functionning system, are all clockwise tied to ally and optimize sanity, gain of time and efficiency.Wich only makes more sense, for such toroughly active society.Respect again, under one another angle.Japan is undeniably accounted as worldwide values model under many aspects.👍🏾

when I lived in Japan, the trains had a level of service and quality that regardless of class to be enjoyed. I lived in Kagoshima, so when you’d take a train to say to Fukuoka, you’d have a person come around with bentos and snacks on a trolley. Great way to practice my Japanese language (they were very patient) Such a treat - whereas if you flew, there was not even water - the reverse of Australia at the time 😂. I remember on a local journey, I sat next to an older woman who insisted on sharing her mikan fruit with me and making sure I was comfortable. Such a lovely kindness to a stranger, but something I experienced quite a lot when I lived there.
