It’s old news that’s why nobody talks about it anymore . When it was main stream headlines it was big news , Nike stopped making stuff with labor from xinjiang . But nothing new has come out about this , all this stuff has been known for years now . News websites don’t just repeat stories unless new info comes out .

@@OmnscentBiasI'm in the USA and sadly I cannot deny it at all. We have gotten used to cheap products brought to market by either cheap or slave labor. If I need something, I do my best to stay away from chinese products. Unfortunately, it is getting harder to do so.

Nothing strange with minorities and non dominant almost majorities to be forced to speak the national language/dialect, take my country the Philippines for example where everyone is required to learn Tagalog/Filipino unless you live in a cave alone where the government can't reach; same in the US where everyone is expected to speak English, same in Indonesia where everyone is expected to speak Bahasa regardless of your race or ethnicity.

There's a big difference between learning the official language of the country in normal schools and being imprisoned in internment prison camps where you cannot leave and guards are even allowed to shoot you if you try to escape.

I have visited Xinjiang few years ago as a tourist and I saw things first hand. people are not allowed to pray or speak to tourists. they are not allowed to travel even between cities in Xinjiang. they are not allowed to fast in Ramadan. there are surveillance Cameras everywhere. a city like Kashgar is really like an open air prison. Even Taxis have surveillance Cameras. It’s so sad. If the West is forcing nations around the world to embrace liberal immoral values (transgenderism, unchecked feminism, etc), China is on the other side of the spectrum, is restricting these poor souls from basic moral human rights. The whole world is a prison inside out. Two faces of the same coin.

For example, the location with coordinates of 37.250 degrees north latitude and 79.848 degrees east longitude is referred to as the highest security level "detention camp" by ASPI. After verification by reporters, it was found that this is actually a detention center in Hotan County.
