For anyone confused about him going on about "version 3" coilovers, these aren't "KW V3". Kw makes a secondary product line called "st suspension" and the xta line is built right along side kw suspensions, but they're aimed at a lower price point so there's some differences. So he has ST XTA +3 coilovers, not "KW VERSION 3" the biggest difference between then being the galvanized steel shock body instead of stainless steel. St is cool because you still get the same kw quality, German engineering, made in Germany etc, just at a lower cost. I just installed a set of ST XTA's on my frs and I love them. The ride is extremely compliant and it made a huge improvement to the handling. With camber plates they costed as much as some cheaper coilover options but the quality is significantly higher.

I have RCE Tarmac 2 coilovers on my 95' WRX. They are based on the KW V3 shock but with linear valving and linear springs. Despite having a much stiffer spring rate, the comfort is nearly identical to stock in most conditions but feels much more responsive. The inox stainless steel is nice too because I will be running them through the winter. I can raise my car about 1/2 inch for winter and lower 2 inches in the summer. They are 2-way adjustable for damping. My only complaint is having to buy tophats separately but I still recommend them if you can afford it

Torsen type diffs tend to be more street friendly as they don't affect NVH. Besides, they're plug-and-play and maintenance free aside from regular oil changes. They also require no adjustment unlike a plate-type diff such as the OS Giken. IMHO in a car that's mostly driven on the street the Torsen makes more sense.

A slight suggestion, it may be a bit more work. But if you put English or Japanese translation perhaps both languages. in the youtube captions, CC, then people could use auto-translate to translate it to any language. Especially English seems to be an easy to translate language. To other languages. Thanks for translating all this hope you do more.

I appreciate for suggestion! The auto-translation feature may be useful for expanding the video to other languages as well. I will consider it.

Any one know what type of handbrake this car has? From the video with Seika you can see that the handbrake doesn't lock in place when pulled. Instead you have to twist the button to get it to lock. Is there a name of this type of handbrake?

Drift button that has a mechanism in it to let it both lock and not not when you set it either way. Cheap, $20 part.

Max Orido sells a fuse kit that replaces the oem fuses and claims to improve throttle response and other aspects of the cars performance if I remember correctly, that’s what he has in has car, which was also mentioned in a previous video.

@@AlvarezAdrian1 🤷‍♂️ From what it seems, the idea behind them is to “improve overall electronic current and distribution throughout the vehicle.” Which is what helps its throttle response and other electronically controlled aspects of performance. As for whether it genuinely works or not, idk. I don’t have them in my brz, so I dunno, I can’t vouch for them.
