A hamster in a ball makes more sense, since hamsters already are tied to balls when we think about them. The character becomes more interesting since it's something that we can recognise and the backstory that they made for him it's pretty convincing

I think the reason they held off on Hammond or a Hero like him is because they wanted to get a feel for what the audience would enjoy before releasing something that could hurt the popularity of the game in it's earlier stages. People seemed to really like Winston from the beginning, so it was pretty easy to keep him around. Not to mention, he really isn't in the same league as Hammond, in my opinion. Hammond seemed more campy and cartoony when he was first announced as opposed to how Winston seems. Idk. These are just my personal thoughts on the matter. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That’s what I said.

At 9:19 when you talk about the floor tiles freaking out, that's actually called "Z fighting". Basically it means two textures are "fighting" for dominance on the Z axis, so they flicker back and forth. Just a fun fact.

Iris became Echo in today's age. They also had recently given us a Hero called Venture which seems to have a similar design to Brit. 3:59 Maybe perhaps, bit by bit, these heroes designs may be added in later seasons. Hopefully Mama Hong lol

Hey! When going forward, here's some game design vocab you might want to include: - you mention the floor "Spazzing out", this is called Z-fighting! it occurs when two planes are fighting over the same space and the engine can't decide which one should be on top -you also mention tracer's "white squares" - these are called particles! so it was a particle placeholder they were using.

Not anymore. All great things find root in older wisdom. TF2 started out as another war shooter, but evolved over time (in development) to become an original dynamic. Over time, Overwatch has become a unique dynamic itself.
